Essel’s Pov
I was jolted awake by Ella's enthusiastic shout. "Today is Christmas Day!"
"Please lower your voice, Ella. Essel is still asleep," Mum interjected gently.
"It's fine. I'm already awake," I replied as I sat up and stretched.
"We have a busy day planned! We’ll start with café hopping in the morning, followed by some exploration in the afternoon, and then ice skating in the evening. Dad has a surprise for dinner tonight!" Ella exclaimed, bouncing on my bed and shaking my shoulders.
When it comes to surprises from Dad, I have my doubts. The last time he attempted to surprise Mum for their anniversary, it did not go well.
Nevertheless, it might be entertaining to witness his next attempt.
