Chapter 32“Excellent,” Selene said as she flipped through the documents on her desk. “Everything seems to be in order here.” “So we passed the inspection?” Layla Morgan asked. She turned towards her partner, Bonnie Spinner. She held her hands. “And the numbers are all correct?” “Yes, the bank approved everything.” Selene folded her hands over the real estate papers she’d been pouring over all morning. She’d had to call the couple to come back in and sign a form she’d forgotten to include, but they’d thought the worse. Selene realized she needed to be gentler on the phone.
