Once back on the Defender Jenna immediately reviewed the security protocols to make sure no-one, and nothing, had been aboard the ship while she’d been away. It seemed unlikely considering the aliens seemed unable to handle vacuum and needed an atmosphere much denser than that on the Defender, but she had to be sure.
She did all that using her datapad while stood just inside the shuttle’s airlock, to make sure she wouldn’t be caught by surprise. She hadn’t even removed her suit, though she had taken the helmet off.
