***Indigo pov***

Father called me after school ans demanded more beer so I have to walk to the store then make it home before he gets home and its going to a close one since the store is out of my way and I hope I have enough money on me. Finally getting to the store I rush right back and grab his favorite beer then rush back up to pay for it, everyone knows me here and knows its for my father so they don't card me. Placing it down in front of the cashier she rings it up giving me the total and ugh it went up in price again "that will be twenty-five dollars and nineteen cents" she tells me great I only have a twenty on me looks like ill be getting a beating tonight. "you can just go put it back thank you" I say then start walking away but before i get to fair i hear someone behind me "go ahead and add that to my total" he says so I turn around so fast.

When I turn around I come face to face with none other then Skye Black. "you don't have to do that its okay ill come back when I get the money its at home" I say to him, "no its okay I got it, seems like you need it now" he says as he takes out his card to pay for the beer and the drinks and snacks he got. He pays for everything then hands me my fathers beer and walks out with me "thank you Skye, Ill pay you back tomorrow" I tell him, "no need its all good.." he says but stops probably not knowing my name. "my names Indigo but most people call me Indi and I insist on paying you back" I tell him. "I like your name Indigo and tell you what give me your phone number ill consider that payment enough" he says, he can't be serious. I give him a look like he's crazy but he pulls out his phone amd hands it to me "put it in I really want it" he says to me. I take the phone and put my number in it and when im done I see the time s**t ima be late. "Here you go thanks again but ima be late" I say handing him his phone. I go to leave but he stops me "do you need a ride?" he asks me, a ride from him.. walk home and be late or take the ride and be there on time to make dinner. "That would be great thank you" I say with a smile, "great follow me a few of my friends are with me just ignore them" he say leading me to his car.

He leads me to a black suv when we get close a guy in the front gets out of the front seat and gets in back. Skye helps me get in since the car is so tall and im short, when he touches my hand sparks fly up my whole arm making me let out a gasp.I wonder if he felt that too i think to my self. Once im in he closes my door then runs around to the drivers seat and gets in. "okay give me your address" he says to me, I give it to him them we starts to drive there. Someone in the back clears there throat "oh right Indigo those two back there are my best friends Theo and Axle" skye says. I Know Theo hes is some of my classes Axle I've seen around thats about it I turn around "hi im Indigo but most people call me Indi" i say to them. They both say its nice to meet me, we have some small talk for a few then there is a silence. Next thing i know we are pulling up to my house and thank god my father isn't here yet. I say goodbye to Theo and Axle then go to say the same to Skye but hes not there then my door opens.Damn he moved fast is all I can think, taking his hand he put out sparks fly up my arm again making me gasp again. Letting go of his hand "thank you again but i better get in see you around" I say then turn around and walk away, When I get to the door I turn around and wave goodbye then head in and close the door.

Leaning on the door "holy s**t did that just happen, Skye Black bought my dads beer drove me home and asked for my number" I say to myself. Get it together Indi he wont text you he was just being nice but oh man those sparks that was strange. I push myself off the door amd walk to the kitchen and throw the beer in the fridge and start dinner. I quickly throw together something for my father then head down to my room to hide from him locking my door and working on my home work. Not even five minutes later I hear my father walk into the kitchen getting his dinner and a cold beer then going to his room. Thank god he didn't yell for me to come up there tonight I saw while working on my homework. Twenty minutes into working on my homework I get a text my heart stops please don't be father is all I can think.

Looking at my phone its a number I don't know so I open it "hello beautiful its Skye it was nice to meet you today" it says, its Skye he texted me oh god what do I say back." hello Skye, amd thanks again" I say to him so stupid Indi I think to myself. " hey its no problem, he what are you doing?" he asks me "well my homework thats about it then ill try to get some sleep" i say back the homework os true the sleep probably wont happen."oh what an exciting life your living" he says to me, i roll my eyes "well gotta keep my grades since im on scholarship" I say back not everyone is rich and can do as they please but i dont say that to him. "come one you don't have any fun at all do you?" he asks me but as im starting to type back I hear my father calling me so real fast "no school only but got to go bye see you around" I say then throw my phone on my bed and run up stairs.
