***Skye's pov***
I left the school and drove right to the coffee shop to meet up with Axle I told Theo to keep an eye on Indigo for me. Pulling up I park and get out and walk right inside looking for Axle. I finally spot him in the back corner. "Hey man tell me what did you find?" I ask him not wasting any time at all. "well her name is Indigo River no middle name, she moved around a lot until she was eight when her family moved her, her father is military and the reason they stopped moving is because her mother got cancer and died when she was ten years old, after that not much is known about her, she had high grades in school even though she missed a lot of school growing up even more so in high school, she never did anything outside of going to school then going home after her mother died, she lives about two blocks away from the school its just her and her father now, she is eighteen but has never had a job, she doesn't go out unless its to the store or library so shes in her first year of college an english major on a full ride scholarship and she has one true friend lillian but other then that there's not much there no medical history after ten years old, no social media nothing its like after ten she just disappeared" axle tells me handing me the papers of her background.
I look at the papers there's a few photos but not many she used to have longer hair until a few years ago when she just cut it off. No medical care after ten that's not good, I look up at Axle "so shes human?" i ask him, "yes man shes human and from what I see something isn't right there" he tells me. I take a deep breath, human for a mate this is going to be complicated, ive seen human mates but there aren't many its a rare thing to happen I've never seen a human luna though I need to speak with my parents about this and try to get close to her, Axle is right something does feel off about her I mean her life is like no existent. "I need to go home and talk to my parents and see what they think I should do, how to get close to her and go about telling her about me" I say to him, "Alright man anything else i can do to help?" he asks me. "Go help Theo keep an eye on her and let me know anything and everything" I tell him. He tells me okay then we both head out.
Getting home I link my parents right away that I need to speak with turn so they said to meet them in my fathers office. Running up the stairs to my fathers office I don't even knock when I get there. "Hello mother and father" i greet them, "hello son what can we do for you?" my father asks me. "I pretty sure I found my mate" I blurt out, they both look at me excited "well who is she? is she here? can we meet her?" my mom rattles off. "Whoa dear slow down look at our son her looks troubled" my father says to my mother, "oh dear whats wrong?" my mother asks. "Well shes human" i tell them both, they are both completely shocked " thats not all I think something is wrong with her, somethings not right, I had Axle find everything about her, after ten years old its like she disappeared there's only school records, nothing else no medical no pictures no nothing, and i saw her she looks so small like one hug could break her she looks so tired, the one time I looked into her eyes she looked so broken Im worried about her" I tell them both.
I hand my father the papers Axle gave me so he can look at them "it says her mother died from cancer when she was ten and its just her and hed father that hes a military man have you looked into her father?" he asked me, "not yet but I'll have Axle do that I have him and Theo keeping an eye on her for me" I tell him. My mom speaks up "oh my she lost her mother so sad whats her name dear" she asks me, I smile big "Indigo River" i simply say. My mother smiles at me " what a beautiful name" she days and her name is beautiful Im sure her mother picked it. "well son have Axle look into the father, keep an eye on her try to get close to her take it slow but if something is wrong in that house we will get her out and protect her and son im happy for you" my father says. "thank you and I will" I say getting after telling them goodbye and hugging my mother.
I run back down the stairs to go back to Phoenix, The pack house is in a small town outside of Phoenix called cave creek we pretty much take over the whole town. Getting in my car I drive the thirty minutes back to meet up with Theo and Axle. I ended up skipping my last class and Theo said she was just not getting out of her last clas since he is in it with her. Pulling up to the school Im there in time to see her leaving the building, she stops just outside the doors because she gets a phone call and from the look on her face she looks terrified oh god what's going on my little luna. when she hangs up she takes a few deep breaths then puts on some head phones and begins to walk down the street. Theo and Axle spot me and get into my car "did you hear that phone call Theo?" I ask him, "yea it was a male voice yelling at her to get him some more beer and that she better have dinner made by time he gets home or else she will pay" he tells me. I let out a growl someone threatened my girl and Everest wants to hurt them bad. I can't do that right now though so I get him under control "how did she sound" i ask him " she was scared her I could hear her heart beat from where I was standing, she mumbled some quote then left down the road" he tells me.
We are actually following her not to close but close enough that I can see her, I just want to pick her up and take her home now but I can't for now I'll just try to get close to her.
