Indigo: Her Redemption Mates

chapter 2- Skye Black

I don't get why my parents insist that I go to college when I'll be taking over for my father soon. Im Skye Black soon to be alpha or the Black Claw pack we are werewolves. My mother says its good for me to go to college because I may find my mate there but I really don't want a mate. As a werewolf we have mates they are our soulmates who we are always searching for the one person that's made just for us, we will know when our wolfs will sense our mate right away. When we turn eighteen is when we are able to sense our mate if they are close to us and when we touch there will be sparks after you find your mate you are both drawn to each other. You will want to mate and mark each other right away, your mate can be another wolf, witch and sometimes even a human hench why my parents are having me go to a human school.

Im currently in my last class before my lunch break. Im taking a business classes to help when I take over for my father when he is ready to head over the pack to me so for now I go to school and help my father when im not in class. My class finally lets out and I leave to meet up with my friends, there's Theo my best friend he will be my second in command my beta, then my gamma is my other best friend Axle we have all been friends since we were pups so picking them to be my second and third was a easy for me. My other friends are just some of my best warriors of the pack that I grew up with also. We were all walking to the lunch hall when I heard a familiar voice "hey baby where have you been" that voice belongs to Cora Williams shes also a wolf and is hoping I pick her to be my luna which is what a alpha calls there mate but shes not my real mate but that doesn't mean I don't enjoy her company she's not bad in bed. Most people save there selfs for there mate but not me im a massive player new girl every week but I always keep Cora around when I can't find anyone new. "Hey Cora" I say to her giving her a kiss then wrap my arm around her and walk onto the lunch hall.

Everyone always goes silent when we walk in, the girls do to drool over me and my friends while the guys are just intimidated by us. We are used to it by now, once we get to our table I take a seat and pull Cora onto my lap. Theo and Axle are telling me about something that happened in one of there classes when I smell the most amazing smell I've ever smelled its vanilla mixed with lavender when I look up I see the most beautiful ocean blue eyes I've every seen. We stare at each other then she blinks and shes gone and all the while my wolf everest is yelling mate in my head "go get mate" over and over. My breathing starts to get out of control and im close to loosing control of my wolf when I heard my name being called "Skye!" I hear Theo yell at me snapping me back to reality. "What?" i ask him, "dude ive been calling your name you okay?" he asks me. I look at him still trying to fight my wolf and decide to mind link him so no one else can hear me "who was that girl that walked by our table a few minutes ago?" I ask him , "The one with the short black hair?" he asks me. "yes that one do you know her name?" i ask him "oh yea thats Indigo shes in a few of my classes why?" he asks me "I think shes my mate" I tell him. He spit out his drink all over the table making everyone look at him then he asks me "are you sure?, Im pretty sure she is human man" he says to me, "im not for sure but she smelt amazing when she walked by and my wolf kept yelling mate at me I almost lost control" I tell him.

"Well damn dude, we need to find out for sure then and find out more about her then, I just know she is really smart and here on scholarship and doesn't go out at all and hangs out with that girl lilian thats always trying to get your attention" he tells me. "You said she is in some of your classes is she in any of you last two?" I ask him "Yea shes in both of them why?" he asks me, "keep an eye on her for me if she is human and our luna then I want eyes on her at all times until I figure out if she is my mate and how to tell her" I tell him. "I can do that" he say "no don't tell anyone but Axle no one else must know until I know for sure" I tell him. "yes alpha" he says I then cut my link with him and link Axle who has been staring at me and Theo this whole time "I think I found my mate, she may be human her name is Indigo according to Theo find out everything you can about her and let me know" I link him, his eyes go wide "oh s**t no wonder Theo spit out his drink damn congrats man and yea ill find everything I can want me to go now?" he asks me, "yes I want everything right away, and don't tell anyone" i say to him "yes alpha" he says then gets up and leaves to go find everything about her.

I couldn't focus on my last classes for the day my mind kept going to Indigo, such a beautiful name, she so beautiful those eyes, her pink lips and that short raven black hair the things me and my wolf want to do to her. We want to mark and mate with her right now but we can't if she is human that would make sense now since she didn't react to when we looked at each other like a wolf would yes she was drawn in but she was able to pull away. The more I think about the way she looks I realize she was very pale, and looked under weight and tired. Her cloths looked old and very big on her and she had on way to much make up and long sleeves in Arizona its hot her. I have this feeling something is wrong but I wont know until Axle finds out everything about her. She smell though was amazing vanilla and lavender I just wanted to pull her to me and nuzzle into her neck and smell her forever and not let her go. I was brought out my my thoughts by Axle mind linking me "hey skye you may want to come meet up with me I found out everything about Indigo" he says "okay im leaving class now meet me at the coffee shop down the road from school.
