Stay By Me (Heart Book Series #1)

A young and innocent girl has no memories of who she was. She doesn’t remember anything. Such as who she was, where she was born, who her biological parents were, etc. She has no knowledge of where she is right now. When two high school lovers, a boy and girl found her; she was already covered in blood. There was no sight of people where they found her. She had a crescent moon shape on the center of her forehead. She also had a wing shaped mark on her back between her shoulders. But, it was an invisible mark that no humans can see through it. Those who could see the supernatural can tell that this girl was special. After the girl was found, she was put into the Smiles orphanage. It was supposed to be a peaceful place. A place where kids who don't have parents or were abandoned would be able to live here. Of course, she was loved by everyone. And good things happened for people who lived in the orphanage. The staff that works here were in their 20s. And knew what they were doing.  Since, they go to school to learn about it. As she was in the orphanage, the kids there ignored her as if she didn't exist. When other kids want to play, they invite others to play with them.  They were playing a duck duck goose game. But, when she comes forwards, the kids there just shake their heads in displeasure. The staff was beginning to become sad for the girl. Since no kids her age want to play after three years have passed. The baby grows up faster than a human. So, she’s three-years-old.  The owner of the orphanage came by. She checks up on all the kids. She felt a mysterious aura coming from the girl. She approached the group of kids. The girl looked up and saw what the commotion was. But, she just stayed quiet. And not make a scene. Since, the girl wants to live a normal life. Even though she feels like she doesn’t belong here. The other kids were playing normally as usual. However; for her; she was left out. No one wants to play with her. She just stared at the moon from the window.  As she stared at the moon, she thought she saw someone outside the window. Then she heard voices coming from inside the office of the orphanage. She was excited. Because she thought there would be someone who wants to adopt her. A group of people were there. Some were married. Some weren’t married. Some can’t have kids of their own. They checked on other kids to see if they fit to live with them. As for her, she was in the corner near the window where the moon was.  One of the married couples got lost in the group. They ask the staff about anything they want to know. The girl; on the other hand, smelled an intoxicating scent coming from the married couple. As she followed where the scent was, she was led to the back door of the orphanage. When she comes out of the building; she feels like her body is free from all that negativity. The cold breeze of the wind welcomes her. As well as the moon, the light from it blesses the girl as if the moon knew her.  Little did she know, she was surrounded by a bright light around her. Every step she took, a green light appeared. It’s as if the light itself is bringing life to the ground. When she first arrived, she heard from one of the staff that there was a tree that they were fond of. And that the trees were dying. Because the tree was dying from not enough sun and water. She heard a sound of cries coming from all directions. She was the only one who could feel its pain. But, she was a little girl. And she can’t leave her post.  Since, the adults won’t leave her alone. She was already in the orphanage. They wanted to adopt kids of their own. No one wanted to adopt her. No matter how much she approached them. the same crying sound she heard earlier became louder. The whisper of the wind came out and was asking her for help. She couldn’t understand what’s going on. But, deep into her core; she felt that something bad had happened. So, the sound of the cry that comes from the directions to the forest has led her to a mystical place. The place itself was filled with a beautiful and majestic lake. From the water, she saw the reflection of the moon that appeared from the sky. It was breathtaking for her, because she had a nostalgic feeling like she was truly home. She felt like there was a hand on her shoulder. When she turned around, there was no one in here. To her, she thinks she’s hallucinating. However, out of the darkness in the corner, a group of four mysterious people were hiding behind the trees. They were already here in the forest, since they had this similar feeling like someone they knew had come back from the dead. She saw it when she closed her eyes. As they were hiding, the same girl that came from the orphanage approached the lake.  She was appalled at the sight of it.  The same step she took as she reached here, it's as if life was coming back to the forest.  The grass has become alive then the flowers around her have started to bloom. And the trees that were once dead have come back to life. For her, she feels like she’s dirty both physically and mentally. She checks to her left and to her right to see if there’s no one around her. She breathed in the air and exhaled the air. The clouds that covered the sky had cleared when she entered the forest. The forest was then connected to the lake itself.  The stars in the night sky have become more bright and shining as ever. She stares at the moon ever so strongly.  After what it feels like two or five minutes have passed, the radiating light from the moon appears at the center of the lake. The blessing of the moonlight has covered the lake. The lake was then filled with magical energy. She wanted to approach the lake, but she heard voices miles away calling to her. She courtesy and bow to the moon and about to leave the forest. Suddenly, another sound of cries appeared in front of her. She follows through the sound that leads her to an injured animal. She walked towards the cries and was about to approach it. The group of four mysterious people that watched her earlier also followed her.   They feel the need to protect her, even though they don’t know her that well.  She gently walked and walked. Then, she saw a variety of animals surrounding the injured animal. She also thought she heard a voice when she gently walked and tried to approach it. [conversation between the animals] Deer: A-are you alright? Wolf #1: I don’t need your help. Squirrel: you’re the only one that’s injured. Bear: How did you get that wound? Wolf #2: He got that wound from the humans. Horse: Don’t eat us!  Wolf #3: We don't eat you. Deer: What did you do with the humans? Wolf #1: Well, I was following the intoxicating scent. Bear: Scent? Horse: We can’t smell anything. Wolf #2: Of course you can’t. Wolf #3: Only wolves can smell things that others can’t. The animals were sacred to the wolves. But, they feel that they shouldn’t abandon the injured wolf. Because, the animals think that if they help the injured wolf then it would also help them back if something happens to them. They waited for the moon as they pleaded to the moon goddess. The girl was shocked as if she heard voices once again. She ignored the voices in her mind then the moon that was up in the night sky appeared. But this time, the moon has turned red. After minutes passed when the animals prayed to the moon, they got scared again from what they saw in the sky. The moon turned bright red as if it was angry.  The red color was reacting to the girl. The girl was put into a trance and the moon that reflected from the water has turned into a brighter red. The bright red is like the color of blood itself. When the moon turned red, the girl didn’t feel scared. She was very calm after she inhaled and exhaled the air. The images that reflected onto the water made her feel disturbed. Afterwards, she opened her eyes. She felt someone touch her face. Her face was throbbing as if there was a slapping mark. When she opened her eyes, she was being carried into one of the beds. She was far away from other kids. A part of her memories flash forward to her faster than a bullet train. … inside a dream-like state … People have found her in the forest suddenly. She was surrounded by various animals. Such as deers, birds, wolves, etc. The one who found her was a married couple as they were driving along the road. They heard the wailing sound of a baby cry. The married couple kneed down to pick her up. As they do, the baby stops crying. The baby was giggling as she looked at the married couple. They found the infant’s eyes were really alluring. Like it’s pulling you in a trance and looking deep into the soul of a person. The married couple already had kids, so they don’t have enough money to adopt a child. So, they drop them off to an orphanage.  The people there said she was wrapped in a beautiful blanket with an initial on it. The ons that found her were shocked and scared. Because she was covered in blood. There wasn’t any sign of people where they found her. She had a crescent moon shape on the center of her forehead. She also had a wing shape mark on her back between her shoulders. She had other birthmarks, but no human could not see through it. Those who could see are the supernaturals. As the infant was in the orphanage, good things happened for people who lived there. The staff that works in the orphanage were in their 20s and knew what they were doing.  Since, they go to school to learn about it. The kids didn’t like the infant; because, it took all the attention off the grownups. The kids didn’t like her, but they squealed at the animals that were in the basket. It was torture for the animals, since the kids keep bothering it. Such as they keep poking them to wake up. The infant could feel the animals’ emotions, so it started to cry again. One of the staff picked up the basket and put it close to the infant. The infant stopped crying.  … END OF DREAM-LIKE STATE … The girl woke up after months, days, and years had passed. The infant was now three-years-old. It was strange for her to dream like this. It felt like this also happened to her too. Was it a memory of her past life?  Did this also happen like her? The following days, it was the same as usual. But, different. The kids ignored her as if she didn’t exist. When other kids want to play a game, they play fruit baskets.  But when she came forward them; they sighed. “ Fine, you could play, “ said one of the girls who felt sorry for her. “  But, you’ll be the ugly fruit, “ said the boy as he laughed at her. The little girl didn’t say anything. She stayed quiet. When everyone was called, they ran around and played with other kids. No one picked her. The kids secretly shake their heads in displeasure. They also secretly laugh at her without her knowledge. They didn’t like her one bit. Because she was different from them. “ Eww why is your hair that color? Look! She has granny hair “ said one of the girls who starts to point at her with disgust in her eyes.  Other kids came over to surround her.  “ Granny hair! “.  Other kids keep repeating it over and over. The animals in the basket could also feel the emotion of a three-year-old kid. The animals came to her rescue. It starts to growl at them to back off. The animals were vicious like an angry lion. It didn’t like these human kids bullying her. The kids ran away from them when the animals tried to attack them. The staff was beginning to become sad for the girl, since no kids her age wanted to play with her. The three-year-old girl heard the footsteps of the owner. She came by and checked all the kids. She saw the animals attacking the kids. She had a disgusted look on it and she grabbed a poison hazard spray.  She would use it to hurt the animals. The animals made a whimper sound like he doesn’t like the human female. But, the three-year-old girl stepped in front of them like she was the alpha female of the group of animals. She starts snarling and growling at the human female in front of her to back off. But, the owner of the orphanage didn’t back off. She was still holding the dangerous spray in her hand. As she was about to spray towards the animals to kill it, the three-year-old girl grabbed the animals. She holds them for dear life.  “ Stay away from my animals!! “ said the quivering little girl as she tried to hold back her tears.   “ Give me the animals dear! They don’t belong with us. I won’t hurt it! “ said the female owner who hid her venom lies with soft words.  “ Noooo! I won’t let you “ said the scared girl as she shouted with vigor.  As the little girl shouted, the windows burst open. And the glass of the windows shattered into million pieces. One of the glass pieces scratches the owner’s face leaving a scar that would never heal. The little girl stands strong and proud. The staff that saw a strange occurrence was awed. They were shocked to see strong winds out of nowhere. The staff felt a mysterious aura coming from the little girl. These people around the little girl were human, so it's easy for them to get hurt.  The little girl was so angry that her eyes changed color with fury. The animals snarl at the human female owner. But, the green wolf licks the girl’s face to calm down. And so she did after so many licks. The kids came forward and saw what happened. When she approached the kids, they had a frightened look on their faces. The little girl’s heart calmed down. Her eyes change back to normal. The girl looked up and saw the commotion she had caused. She stayed quiet and continued to take a deep breath.    She doesn’t need to make another scene again. Since, the girl wanted to live a normal life. Even though she feels like she doesn’t belong here in the human world. The other kids were playing normally as usual. However; for her; she had no one to play with. Unless, you include the animals then. She had to play with the cute animals that protected her from the bad humans. The little girl gazed at the moon from the window. She had a longing expression that she felt a mysterious force pulling her towards the moon.  As she stared at the moon, she thought she saw someone outside the window. She thought she heard voices. At first she thought she heard a voice in her head. But, she heard voices coming from inside the office of the orphanage. She was excited, because she thought there would be someone who wanted to adopt. A group of people who are married and can’t have kids came to look around.  They check on other kids to see if they are fit to live with them. As for the little girl, she was in the corner near the window where the moon was. One of the married couples gathers around with other kids. So, they asked the staff about things they wanted to know. The little girl; on the other hand, smelled an intoxicating scent coming from the married couple. As she followed where the alluring scent was, she was led to the back door of the orphanage. When she comes out of the building, she feels like her body is free from all negativity. The icy coldness of the freezing breeze of the wind welcomed her. As well as the moon, the light from it blessed the little girl as if the moon welcomed her too. She felt safe gazing at the moon. It was really beautiful to see the moon. The little girl and her animals felt drawn to it. In other words, she feels like she’s at home as she continues to gaze at it and starts to sigh. Little did she know, she was surrounded by a bright light around her. Every step she took, a green light appeared.  It’s as if the light itself is bringing life to the ground. When the little girl arrived, she heard from one of the staff that there was a tree. A tree that they were fond of. And that tree was dying. Because, it didn’t have enough sun and water. She heard a sound of cries coming from all directions. She was the only one who could feel its pain. But, she was a little girl and she couldn’t leave her spot. Instead, the poking pain of someone stabbing you through the heart continues to vibrate.
