The next morning, I didn’t expect Hugo to visit me at home. He was sitting in the living room while flowers were placed on the table. He stood up when he saw me. I think he's from work because of his crumpled long sleeves, and his necktie is a bit loose. His hair is a bit messy. I frowned, accepted the flower from him, and sat on the other sofa. I didn’t speak; I just smelled the flower. I'm waiting for him to tell me something. When I heard him clear his throat, I just turned my gaze to him. I meant that there was no expression on my face when I looked at him. I raised my brows when I noticed that he was trying to tell me something. “I-I'm sorry I didn't go last night,” he said, I saw nervousness in his eyes. “Good, you know,” I said seriously to him, causing him to look up at me.
