Two men, in black suits, sat on a table across from each other. Discussing and having a good laugh. It looked like they were good friends. Well; Charles Montagues, and Hamilton Capulet have been best of friends for a while especially because of business. But then, they share a certain brotherly bound. "So Charles, are you not worried?" Hamilton asked. "Worried?" Charles raised a brow. And he nodded. "About what?" "The children Charles. You know they haven't met. And I really do not trust my son to be in best behavior". He explained. "I really do not trust my daughter to be in best behavior as well. Especially with her anger issue". Charles added "So what do we do?" "Huh? Your son shouldn't be a problem you know. He looks too professional for that". "Don't judge a book by its cover. We seem to have children of the same behavior". Hamilton signed in frustration. "There's nothing we can do about it. We should just tell them anyway. They'll get over it". "They'll be mad". "That's for sure. I regret not making them know each other. Now this seems difficult". Charles lamented. "Exactly what I thought. I'm sure we must have been occupied with buisnes to even give it a second thought". "I never even thought of it as well". Hamilton signed. "So now that the arrangement is official. We should make them official as well" Charles nodded thoughtfully. "So how do we go about it ?" "It's not a big deal. All we have to do is introduce them during the family dinner". ★★★ Julian walked happily, replying to his staff's greetings as he approached his office. Then he walked in closing the door behind him. "Babe! I've been waiting for you". Sonia, his girlfriend said immediately he walked in. "What took you so long?". She went over to hug him but he pulled her into a tight hug that she had to punch him lightly to release her. "I'm so sorry babe, I mistakenly hit an angry lady's car". He sighed and kissed her lightly before going to sit. "Ouch.". She raised her brow. If there's any other person who knew him so well was his girlfriend. "It was just a scratch you know". He shrugged, waving his hands in the air. "It doesn't matter. A simple sorry would have made it a lot better". She glared at him. "Well she didn't deserve it seriously". He said resting on his chair. "Obviously. That is what you're going to say anyway. I knew it". She paused "but seriously, you need to start saying sorry, it'll help you in the future". "When I do not need the help then". She rolled her eyes. "He never learns". She grumbles. "So how's your Fashion agency doing?" "Oh that,". She smiled sitting up. "It's all in good shape you know. No much stress". "Obviously, because you have people doing your job". He smirked. "Well, you might be right though. But trust me I have my own job". She stated. "Oh! you mean, coming to trouble me all day in my office?". He smirked. "Why not. I love this place". She flushed. "No, you love me". He frowned "don't share my love with this building". She knew how jealous he was but then, she didn't think much about it. "You're right". She winked. "Don't you think it's high time you start staying at your office, because your presence distracts me and drives me nuts". He said in a toady voice that made her laugh. Then stood up and walked to her chair. "Really babe". She made a flirty smile pulling closer to him and when he drew her chin closer... "Office Romance is against the rules in my company!". Mr. Hamilton Capulet snapped, making them jump up in a reflex action. Sonia didn't feel comfortable with Mr. Hamilton around. "Dad, you should have at least knocked, and this is no office Romance". Julian said. "Knock? In my cooperation? Wow". He smiled but not sincere. "Anyway, any romance going on in an office, is called what?" "So sorry sir,..." "Dad Sonia is my girlfriend,". He interrupted her. "There are no exceptions". He said sternly. She swallowed hard while Julian was speechless. "Sonia". He called her. "Yes sir". She replied immediately. Curious to know what was on his mind. "I'm sure you have a job". "That's right". She nodded quickly with a smile. "Perfect. Run along". She took her bag and left immediately. She had always known Mr Hamilton didn't like her. And that wasn't a nice idea at all. Anyway, She'll leave Julian to sort it all out. She closed the door behind her. "Dad, why do you really hate Sonia that much?" Julian asked, going back to his desk. He slumped into his chair. While his father did same to the chair opposite him "I do not hate her. Why will I?" He waved his hands in the air. "I won't know dad seriously". He shook his head in frustration. "Exactly. Why exactly will a lady leave work to chat". Father rolled his eyes. "It's worth it dad. It's personal business". "It better be. Because I have better plans for you". "We're not back to this dad. No more making decisions for me". He gave his dad a knowing look. "Whatever it is, you'll know about it today at dinner". Hahaha. Julian busted, laughing out loud. "Dad, have you forgotten we don't do dinner together? Like it's been a while I remembered such". "I didn't say we'll be having dinner together Julian". He paused and then took a deep breath. "What I mean is that, it's going to be a family dinner. Mr. Charles is bringing his family along". "What are you celebrating dad?" He asked, looking curious. He knew his dad so much and he knew his father wouldn't organize a dinner for nothing. "Nothing much". He paused. "Well... I just thought we should have a family dinner. It's been a while since we did that". He said carelessly. "Then I don't have to be there then". Julian concluded. "What a joke! Mr. Charles is bringing his family and my own family has to be there completely. No negotiations". Father stood up and walked out of the office. Leaving no room for reply.
