Miss Pauline, the chief social official of the Arc brands has also refused to grant an interview to the media, erupting even more public uproar…’ I watched a reporter spoke on the television and it could not help but smile, a twisted smile of revenge. Ignoring the rest of the broadcast, I sat on the cushion with many thoughts running through my brain, the Arc Brand was facing a downslide and I am behind it all, I am going against one of the richest Billionaires in the world but even more than that, the Alpha of the greatest werewolf pack in the world. When did I become so brazen? My thought was suddenly interrupted by a buzzing phone and I pick my phone on the central table and Pauline name was glaring back at me. I answered the call immediately and her melodious echoes in my head ‘Sophia, turn on your TV.” she said in high note, eagerly awaiting my response. “The Arc brands is facing huge criticism from customers who accuse them of sub-quality products and services.” I said mimicking the reporter who had just spoken on the TV dramatically. “Yeah girl, we did it but… sigh” Pauline released a deep breath before continuing with a stern voice, “There is no more time to joke, things aren’t easy on me here; Eden wants everything resolved immediately, we have to take action immediately or be left with futility.” She said in a rather stressed tune. “Then what should I do, Pauline, what do you want me to do?” I said helplessly as my tune turn solemn. In fact, I could predict her response, I know the next action to take but just wondered if I was really ready… ready to face him again. “It’s time to pay him a visit Sophia, show him your proposal and make him realize if he doesn’t agree to your terms, his company and whole asset would go down the drains.” She said firmly. Pauline’s look might give off weakness but when she acts, she would take the bull by the horns. “…don’t tell me you are doubtful about the plan Sophia, this has been the moment we have been awaiting for years now, this is not the time to be skeptical. It is the time to get up and act.” She asserted; her tone doesn’t accept a ‘No’ for an answer. With my eyes closed, I released a slight breathe and then replied “yes it been ten years now and there is no more doubt in my mind Pauline, I have everything under control and I will make an appointment to his office immediately.” I could feel a huge burden falling off my mind as I spoke those words, there’s no turning back again. “Sophia I believe in you and have done everything I could to help you, it is now left to you. Make me proud.” She said and ends the call. I stood up walking towards the mirror in my room and my face stared back at me, I stared into my pale blue eyes and could see no fear in it, “you can do this Sophia, you will.” Pauline had trust me with this and it is time to get what is rightfully mine, I drop the phone on the centre table as I collapsed into a sofa and stared up at the ceiling. Memories of the last ten years back kept running through my head as pain shot through the back of my head. My eyes was swollen in tears and my mouth started to tremble as tears gushed out of my eye, I shouldn’t have been happy, I shouldn’t have expect too much, a lowly omega who had believe in love. No!
