I would have been lying if I told you that I knew how long it had been since my mother and father had gone inside, but one thing that I was sure of, was that it had been very long ago. I didn't know what it was that they were doing in there, because there was no sign of life coming from inside. I couldn't hear them arguing, or even having a simple conversation. It was like I was the only one who was home. That was the point that I had reached, and yet, I still didn't go inside. It felt wrong for me to do so. I couldn't explain why I felt this way, but it just didn't seem right to me. For all I knew, I would end up going inside, only to find that my mother and father were actually still there, and that the conversation that they were having, was still a private one, although not a heated
