“What are you saying?” I looked at my father in disbelief. “Can you do it?” “That is an impossible wish to fulfill.” He took a sigh before he was looking at the file which was placed neatly on his desk. “You are the only one on whom I can rely on.” “Is there no other way to fulfill this obligation?” “I am not seeing any other better option.” “But papa, I have a lover already, and you also have approved of him. After a few minutes he cut the call and then noticed my presence. “How did the meeting go with Mr. Awasthi?” “It was okay.” “Good to hear that.” “Did that investor agree to help?” I asked him and he shook his head. “When you are in a crisis at that time only you know how many people are really there to help you.” “What if some are trying to gain profit from that help?” He sighed. “I guess that is natural after all who does want loss from their help.” I know one thing and that is my father is breaking from inside. He isn’t showing in front of me but he is not in a good shape to really think anything further.
