Sobrina visited the University from her state of primary assignment to collect her original Bachelor's Degree certificate. She was elated, history was about to be made, she was going to hold her baby in her hands. Her excitement knew no bounds. She was presented with a milk colored paper on arrival. "Raise it up", the issuer commanded when she saw her disappointed expression. She did and the certificate transformed into a paper currency. It was a beautiful sight to behold. "Hello, good afternoon sir", "How are you, Soby?" "I'm good, I'm in school" "Wow, when did you arrive?" "Yesterday, I came to get my original Bachelor's Degree certificate", "Let's meet later in the evening then", "Where", "Where else Soby, I'll be at my place", Sobrina visited Pastor Melvin at his house that evening carrying the certificate. "I thought you should be the first to see it", he took it, he had the same expression Sobrina had when she first saw the milk colored paper. "Raise it up", she advised and he did. He was very pleased. He had been extremely helpful to her achieving this success. He had suffered with her through all the period of struggling to arrive here, it was an unforgettable moment for both of them. They talked, as they were used to for some time, just enjoying each other's company. It felt so good to be so close to the man she loved once again. Pastor Melvin was now in his final academic year and Sobrina wanted to show him, it was worth all the struggle. Later that night, he took her back to her friend's place, where she was staying. Sobrina had been directed to apply for the refund of the tuition she had paid in replacement for the one Randy had stolen, which the school had rejected during her graduation, like - “I lead to the straight path without a revealed book." Satan. She had done so few months ago when she had visited the University, to pick up her National Youth Service Corps call up letter. It was taking so much time, but she was assured she would get back the seventy-six thousand. It was a rumor that if the school owed anyone, the chances of getting paid were very slim. But she knew she wasn't ordinary, nor did she choose to apply for a refund, she was literally pushed to the bursary department, to submit that application. So she was confident. She checked the status of the application process before she left the University the following day. Pastor Melvin kept in touch, they spoke from time to time over the phone. He had no idea what had happened in Sobrina's life. She was advised to keep her state a secret under every circumstance, it was a matter of life and death. She was led to believe the world prosecuted her kind - Devil worshippers. Coupled with the fact that she was at a dilemma over him. She loved him very deeply, but she knew there ware zero chances now for a happy ever after. He was a Christian, and she a Devil Worshipper. She couldn't stop loving him, nonetheless.
