chapter 19: going with her

"am coming" I shouted loud enough for the person on the outside to hear me."what are those" I asked as joy matched in carrying several bags.

" I need your help on what to wear" she poured everything that was in the bag on my bed.there were shoes and clothes of all sorts.my eyes widen in surprised .

"what are you going to do with all this things you only need one outfit" I said as she started undressing infront of me.she was wearing a red one piece underwear.

"I want something that will make me look like a slat "I was shocking by what she said.

"why in the name of god would you like to look like a slat" I said .she finished dressing in a black short dress and pink short boots.

"how do I look ,can it make anyone fell for me"

"are you that desperate" I said loudly to make her come back to her senses.

"maybe" joy said as he picked another outfit .this time it was a short skirt with a crop to ,more like a bra and a and red heels.

I grabbed her arms and made her to face me "whoever you are trying to seduce this will not work just be yourself and if he doesn't see how great woman you are then he is not worthy your love " I hugged her and she smile. " what should I wear then" joy said as she throw herself on the bed.i went through all the clothes she had brought and found a perfect outfit for her.

"and you are Coming with me .am not going there all by myself" she walked into my closet and start looking an outfit for me .

"am sorry baby, but you know am not the party type" I said folding the clothes that were all over my bed.

" it's just a birthday party and we won't stay for long I promise" joy said showing her pinky swear finger.

"am sorry but no ,whose birthday are you attending" I asked out of curiosity.

"it is one of Tristan friends , Jeremy and the whole cheerleader team were invited .as they leader I should go" joy said with a sad face ,I had told her about me and Jeremy that why she didn't want to mention it at the very begin.

" could you wish him a happy birthday on my behalf"I said with a cracked voice.

"if you are not going then am not going.let watch a movie " she said and started walking down stairs.

"joy you have to be there .you said it yourself as a cheerleader team captain you have to attend" I said as I walk behind her .

"if you are not going then am not nog and that's final"she snapped and sat down on the couch picking the remote from the tv stand.

she was died serious as she picked the movie " can you stop acting childish" I took the remote from her hand and turned off the tv.

"okay fine let's go" I said I knew how important it was to her .she was in love with Tristan and that would be so selfish of me to consider my own feeling and not how much she was suffering.

"are you sure " joy asked in concerned.

"get dress before I change my mind" I said pulling her from the couch.she embraced me and I did the same .we walked back to my bedroom to get dress for the event.

Mark even if he can't admit it to himself deep down he new he missed Jeremy and he wanted to see him even if it was from a distance.

His heart was in pain and the thoughts of what he told him the last time they were together,still hurts him from within.

He thought it was for the best for both of them ,his heart couldn't take the pain.

Mark kept asking himself if he made the right decision by distancing himself from Jeremy.

"ready " joy said when she was done dressing.

"ready ,let's go" Mark said with a faint smile on his pinkish lips .

Even if Mark knew he was marking a mistake,he was willing to take the chance of what the outcome will be.

in his heart he wanted to be with him but when he thinks of his family ,the image it will create and how it may disgrace his family name.His happiness didn't matter.

Not every in their society was okay with the same s*x relationship.Expecially his parents,who were always looking for excuses to disown him.

The smile in joy face when he accepted to go with her was the only thing keeping his mind intact.

He was becoming nervous as they were nearing lake view hotel where the party was taking place.

From a fer he could see how beautiful the place was ,the surrounding was peaceful full of nature reminding him all the places they had visit with his grandpa while he was in Thailand and also in Korea.

The adequate amount of Stars in the sky made him feel relaxed,just staring at them throw the car window.

"it's beautiful and peaceful" joy whispered in Mark's ear leaning her head on mark's shoulder.

"yeah,it is " he patted joy's head and smiled.

"am happy you decided to come"

"Anything for you,baby girl" he kissed her on the forehead .

"good evening sir , good evening madam" the receptionist greeted them with a smile plastered on her slim face.

"Good evening ,we are here for Jeremy Anderson party" joy smiled back.

"the party is on the rooftop,you can use the left lift which will take you direct they" the receptionist informed them gesturing where the lift was.

"Thank you" Mark said and they walked to where the lift was.

The lift stop on the rooftop and everything the was wild ,the music was loud and everyone was busy drinking and dancing.

"How did you manage" chris asked when he saw Mark .

"No one can resist my charm" joy answered winking.

"Are you sure about that?" he gestured in the direction where Tristin and Jeremy were standing.She frowned tapping her feet's,then pretended to be angry.

Mark just laughed seeing how childish her friend can be at a time.

"Let's go ,grab a drink " Teddy said leading them.

"okay but no alcohol for me" Mark said as they walked to find drinks.

Mark saw Jeremy ,he still wanted to avoid him but it will be so rude for him to do that .in his party .

Jeremy on the other hand whispered something in Tristan's ear and took a glass of red wine , heading in the direction of where Mark was stand with his friends.

"hey ,here" he handed him the glass of wine"Am happy you came" he said swiping his wine.

"Yeah, joy dragged me here.Happy birthday" he said smiling nervously.trying to calm his heart which was beating very fast.

"Thank you"

"I see you have already meet the birthday boy" joy interrupted , hugging Jeremy "happy birthday" she handed him a gift box.Jeremy took it smiling.

"Excuse me" Jeremy said and walked towards the entrance where a blonde girl walked in.she was wearing a short blue dress.carring a banquet of red roses and a gift bag.

Jeremy gave her a kiss on the cheeks smiling.He took the roses and held her hand walking to where his friends were.

Jeremy whispered something in her ear and she smiled heating his chest with her fist.Her act was pissing Mark of and he couldn't stand it any more.

He was burning with jealousy,even if he didn't want to admit it.He felt like he couldn't breathe ,he felt like he was having an anxiety attack."are you okay" one of his classmate asked when he saw him straggling to breath."am fine" he walked out to get fresh air ,he felt suffocated.

He took the stairs and went into the next floor and stood on the balcony, trying to calm himself down.

"hey,hey,hey ,look at me"Jeremy told him.

"Take a deep breath ,and relax,close eye eyes and focus on your breathing" he did as he was told and slow he was calming down .This was the first time for him having an anxiety attack.

"Thank you" he said once he was calmed."it's okay" Jeremy said leaning on the balcony facing the sky.

"beautiful" Jeremy mumble.

"yeah,it's beautiful" Mark said looking into the sky.

"I mean you,you look beautiful,or may I say breathe taking" his eyes were now fixed on Mark.

Mark didn't know what to say ,he remained silent.He was shivering and trembling.his hands were cold even if he was wearing a jacket.He was losing the control of his emotions.He tried to focus on the stars but how could he do that when Jeremy was standing next to him.

Jeremy felt like he was losing his mind.He wanted to ask Mark if he hated him that match why did he took him home that day.

He turned around wanting to ask him the question.the moment he saw Mark pink lips,he lost control of himself and leaned in capturing Mark's lips.

Mark wanted to push him but he heart did other wise,he wrapped his arms around Jeremy neck supporting his legs which were shaking.

When they parted they lips ,Jeremy turned ready to walk away before Mark says something which will break his heart again.He was surprised when Mark held his wrist stopping him from leaving .
