Chapter 11Mason had promised to come to Jack’s once he was done with his workday and damned if he was going to miss one minute. The urge to drop by his apartment and pack a bag almost made him detour to do exactly that, but it seemed a little presumptuous, so he skipped it. Mason had done his fair share of morning-afters without clean clothes and while most of those had been walks of shame, this wasn’t. He was happy for anyone to know him and Jack were a thing. Like anyone in town had missed it though. Plenty of folks stopped him on his way to Jack’s with a wave or a hello and a grin as they asked after Jack.
