CHAPTER 8 ACE'S POV "Oh, back so soon darling?" I smirked as Alina walked into my office. "I need your help, Ace." I smirked, turning to my men who were in the room. Waving my hand dismissively, as they walked out submissively. "You have my attention, little sister." I smiled, but she only rolled her eyes. "They're following me, Ace." She spoke in a stressed tone, sitting in the chair before me."I-I, I thought you said they wouldn't look for me." Her arms folded, hands clenching on her arms as she started to shiver in anxiety. "Calm down." I said, standing up. Leaning on my desk in front of her. Offering a cup of tequila. "I don't want a drink, Ace. I want what we agreed on." She glared at me. Her fiery blue eyes boring at me. I couldn't help my smile,  swallowing the cup of tequila instead. "Hey, I did my part. I got you the fake funeral, plus the actors to play the sad, mournful family." I replied in bored tone.  Turning to go sit back on my chair, only to feel Alina pull at arm. "Please, Ace. I-I cant let them find-" "Find out who you really are? The daughter of a powerful man, the twin sister to the most dangerous leader in the business world." I chuckled. "Don't tell me you're afraid, dear sister." I teased with a mocking smile. Sitting down on my chair, leaning my chin on the back of my hand. "You got your freedom for 3 years, sister. Then you'd come back and become my second in command. That was the deal." I said, glaring at her when I explained the last part. "Now, if you can't handle breaking of the ties you made, then I'd be happy to handle it myself." Smirking as I saw her eyes death glare right at me. Chuckling, I put my hands up in surrender. "Very well, though you understand what will happen if this sets you back from your responsibilities." I explained lighting up a cigar. "You won't get a say in what happens to the sheep following behind you." I said, blowing the smoke out. Tossing the lighter on the desk. Alina only sighed. "Give me 3 weeks. That's all I need." I only blew out another puff of smoke, leaning back in my chair.  "Fine. But when you return you train my men 3 weeks worth." Ever since we were kids, I was the brains and Alina was the fighter. Though we traded our specialities to each other, after our parents died when we were 15. It didn't change the fact that I was always going to be a bit smarter, and Alina was always going to be more talented in fighting. We were the Santarino twins.  Dangerous and powerful. And it was safe to say we're wealthy. After our father was killed, we had to take over the family business at 15. We have more years of experience then most others do. Its what makes us more dangerous. As for our mother, she died from a shooting. Its what caused our farther to be cold hearted, even to his only children. But unfortunately, my baby sister wanted to play innocent with her 3 years of freedom. Who would've known she'd attract the Laurent family heir. Enzo, I think his name is. Though I've done my research to know his finding a close friendship with some women over there. Kind of annoys me to wonder how Alina could be affected by such a man.  DANTE'S POV I've been sitting in this motel room, coming up with all dead ends. Though, I'm not giving up. But for some reason, there's something biting at the back of my head. Maybe she never returned to that bar yet, because she knew I was looking for her? But that can't be possible. If it was, that'll mean she has access to find such information of me following after her. Meaning she knows someone with that kind of power.
