Chapter 6

PANDORA'S POV

I was walking down the school hallways when a series of whistling greeted me. I know it wasn't for me because if so, pigs will fly. I turned back and noticed Clarice walking down the hallway too.

Ahh. That whistling was for her huh. I don't mind that. She's a goddess! Any man would be lucky to have her. She's such a beautiful, kind and caring girl. Timothy was lucky! But he didn't appreciate her enough.

On cue, he went to her side and walked side by side towards their locker. I don't know about anybody else but I noticed she's not comfortable being next to him.

Before she went to the locker, she turned her glance to me and gave me a small smile. That small smile enough to make me happy the whole day. "Pandora." Someone nudged my back and I returned to reality.

I smiled at Grace and Caspian who's smiling sheepishly at me. "Stop looking at the school princess. You look creepy." I chuckled. "It doesn't concern you," I said before opening my locker.

"OH MY GOD!" Grace yelled and pulled me away. Instantly Blondie and Eliza came to me and asked me what happen. I shrugged because I don't know what just happen. "THERE'S A SNAKE INSIDE HER LOCKER!"

Grace pointed at the bottom of my locker and now I totally can see it. Even Caspian was scared. And he's the most gentleman man I knew. It's somewhat funny. Eliza and Blondie looked inside my locker.

They were about to walk towards it but I stopped them. "What are you guys doing?" I asked. "I thought it's obvious." Was all Eliza said and went to the locker. Without using anything to covered her hands, she grabbed the snake by the head and pulled it out of my locker.

"It's harmless but doesn't do this at home," Eliza said. "There's a note." She gave the note to Blondie. "Peekaboo." Blondie read the note out loud. "That's it?" Blondie nodded.

"This is one beautiful Boa," Eliza said before putting the snake on her shoulder and actually use it as a boa. "Eliza. She's scared of it." Blondie referred to me. Eliza shrugged and grinned at me.

They both excuse themselves after making sure there's nothing inside my locker. "I think I know who's behind this." Caspian suddenly said. I looked at him. "Who?" "Louis." Caspian turned to him. There he is, looking pissed.

"I mean seriously, that quiz was not even that important," Grace said. I chuckled. "It is for him. I just took his title." "Title?" Grace asked me. I nodded. "I'm the new science genius. Not him."

"Well, f**k him for being stupid. He should know better not to mess with you. Those two ladies will kill him." I looked at Caspian again. "Why do you say that?" Caspian chuckled.

"Don't you see the bulges in their shirt? Waist area? That's a gun. They even carry a Swiss knife that they attach to their leg." I really didn't notice that before. "Come on. Let's go to class before we're late."

I agreed with Grace and closed my locker. We walked passed Clarice and Timothy who's talking animatedly. She turned to me and smiled. Timothy didn't like the idea of her girlfriend looking and smiling at me.

"Hey, Pandora." Clarice greeted me. I greeted her back and continued to walk to class. I feel so lightheaded after hearing my name came out from her mouth. Even her voice made me weak.

"Awww. Pandora is in love." Grace joked. Caspian laughed. I know by now I am blushing a deep red. She's right. I am in love. With someone's girlfriend.

Grace and I went to the locker room to change to our gym clothes. Grace was showing me her tone stomach when Clarice walked in with her group of friends. I forgot we have gym together. Oh God, helped me to deal with this goddess beauty.

"You're not going to change in the curtains?" One of her friends asked. "Why should I? Is there boys inside this locker room?" Series of no reply her. Clarice smiled before took off her dress.

I just watched her in her undergarment. Jesus helped me now. Grace chuckled and nudged my side. "Close your mouth." I did and continued to put on my sneakers. I turned to Clarice and now she's in a simple tee and tights.

She turned and I quickly diverted my gaze away from her. I acted as if I'm waiting for Grace. "Nice move Romeo." Grace and I walked out of the locker room and towards the gym. "Ever thinking of say anything to your crush?"

I shake my head no. "No way! Are you out of your mind!" Grace laughed at my outburst. "Settle down." Our coach made herself visible and I was shocked to see Blondie and Eliza walked in with her.

Blondie waved at me and I waved back awkwardly. "Whoa Pandora, you know those hot babes?" One of my classmates asked me. "Yes." "Any chance I could get their numbers?" Was he serious?

"Why don't you ask them yourself." He beamed and went to them. I shake my head and focus on the class. Apparently, today we're going to play basketball. "Dude, your favorite sport!"

I smiled. "I don't think I'm playing today." "Why is that?" I shrugged. "No reason. Just I want to watch these amateurs playing." "But I want to play." I snickered. "Go and enjoyed yourself." Grace patted my back before walking towards our classmate.

I strolled towards the bench and observed everyone who's having fun. Blondie turned to me and asked me using her hands. I just smiled and nodded. I noticed she's walking towards me.

"But I thought basketball is your favorite sport." I chuckled. "Thanks, mum but I'm fine." "What did you just call me?" I looked up. "Mum? Why? Can't I call you that? I thought mom say I can."

"No no. It's just that that's the first time you call me that. I never heard someone call my mum for so long." I remembered she mentioned about her dead son. I stood up to hug her. "I'm sorry if my action made you think of the past."

Blondie let me go and smiled. "You exactly like what your mother's said. Now, get your ass on the court and show how good you are!" She pushed me inside the court and Grace threw me the ball.

"Alright. Two groups, please come forward. No matter your gender, just be in the group you felt comfortable the most. Wherever you in, you're human and nothing else. Gender doesn't exist in this gym."

For the very first time, the person who I thought was afraid of everything, actually lit up and high-fiving their friends. Clarice was smiling and everyone who joined her team looks talented.

I was just standing all by myself, playing with the ball when Grace nudged my side. "We're ready, boss!" I don't know what she meant but when I turned, Caspian and the others were on their game face.

"So I'm guessing Pandora is your leader?" Everyone said yes without even asking me. "And Clarice will be your leader?" "Hell yes!" Timothy yelled. The coach motioned for us to get ready.

"Centre player please come forward." Caspian went to the middle of the court followed by Timothy. "Oh, dude you're gonna lose." Timothy taunted. "Man, I will always win.."

The coach threw the ball up and blow her whistle. This will be a very competitive game.

"I can't believe we lose against Clarice team!" Grace let her frustration out. I avoided being near her. "You! You were so in a trance when against her. Why not just tell her I love you." Caspian covered her mouth when he noticed Clarice and Timothy walking passed us.

"Hey, loser." "Timothy," Clarice warned her boyfriend. "Sorry. I promise my lady here to be polite to everyone." Timothy looked at me. "Sorry for all the bullying I had caused you." I waved him off.

My heart hurts when Timothy wrapped his hands around Clarice's waist and strolled away. "Well. Maybe it's not your calling. Yet." Caspian said beside me. "Trust us, Pandora. She will be yours." I smiled at them both.

"So. You're using Caspian or me?" Grace pointed at her boyfriend. "We have a date. But are you okay going home alone?" I chuckled and pointed at Blondie and Eliza. "I'm not alone though."

"Ah. Got it." Grace and Caspian bid their goodbyes. Blondie and Eliza went to meet me and asked me if I want to go anywhere after this. "So, straight home?" I nodded. But before I could get into my car, I heard a woman voice around here somewhere.

I turned to a figure near a pure white Bentley. She looks familiar. I closed my car door and locked it before walking towards her. "Anything we can he-.." Clarice turned her body and I instantly froze in place.

"Oh hey, Pandora. If you could start my car that would be a lifesaver." I just froze there, too shocked to say or do anything. Blondie and Eliza both nudged my back and I cleared my throat. "Oh.. umm.. sorry. What?"

She smiled. "It's okay. Maybe I should just call my dad." Again Blondie nudged my back. "Where's Timothy?" I asked. "He's gone. Something about family dinner or something." She said and dialed her dad's number on her phone.

"It seems like my dad is busy. Hmm. I should call the cab." Eliza nudged my back and I looked at them. What is wrong with these two people! "Miss. Pandora can send you home." My eyes widen. I don't even know where she lives.

"Really? I don't want to be a bother." "Not at all. She loves to send people home. Please miss, let her send you. Beside a teen like you, and I must such beautiful one too, shouldn't be in a cab alone. A lot of things can happen." Blondie said.

Clarice smiled. "You sure Pandora?" I nodded. "Sure. I can send you home." I smiled. "Okay then. I'll pick my things up and lock the car." I nodded and turned to Blondie and Eliza.

"What did I just agree to?" They both smiled. "All you have to do is to send her home and get to know her even better. That's it. Don't worry about anything else." "I'm ready," Clarice said and I turned to her.

"My car is over here," I said and lead her towards it. I unlocked and opened the door for her. What? I'm being polite. "Thank you." She said before got in and I closed the door.

Blondie and Eliza both gave me a thumbs up and I went towards the driver seat. I can feel my hands trembling with nervousness.

My crush is in the same car as I am. Oh god her fragrance smell amazing.

"Um... If you don't mind telling me the way to your house." I smiled sheepishly. "Oh." She went to the cars GPS system and type in her address. "Just follow this direction." I nodded and started to drive.

The drive was awkwardly quiet. She suddenly leaned in and pressed the stereo system. A loud EDM music playing and she was banging her head hard. "What's the title of this song?" She asked, literally shouting at me.

"Are You Ready by Code Black." She continued to bang her head showing the side I never saw before. I chuckled when she hit her head on the window. "Oh, it's funny huh?" I stopped chuckling and shake my head no.

"I'm just joking Pandora." I turned left and the road showed me the most lavishing mansion around us. Well, she does drive a Bentley. But I never thought she would be very kind for someone with a status.

I noticed Blondie and Eliza flashing their headlights trying to tell me something. I call them using the car phone but they rejected it. What is wrong with them? "The house at the end." I nodded at Clarice.

When I looked back, Blondie and Eliza both nowhere to be found. Where did they go? "This is my house." I stopped in front of a huge gate with two men guarding them with firearms. Whoa. Her family must be really important.

"This is my parent's house." "Your parents?" She nodded. "I live with my older sister but she's out of town so I have to stay here until she comes back." She gathered her things and smiled. "Thank you, Pandora." I waved it off and watched her got out.

The guards keep glaring at me but Clarice ignored them and wave at me. I raised my hand and drive away. I can't believe I just send my crush home.

I got out of the car and gave my keys to Noah. He smiled and went inside to park it for me. I was walking up the marble stairs towards the front door when Blondie and Eliza pulled me away and dragged me towards the garden.

"Why am I being kidnaped? And where did you guys go? I thought you two have to follow me around?" Blondie looked at Eliza. "Pandora, do you know who's Clarice is? Her last name perhaps?"

Now that's she mentioned it, I have no idea. I shrugged. "Do you know what her parents do for a living?" Again I shrugged. "But I do hear Caspian said her parents do some business and stuff. Why are you two asking me these questions?"

Blondie leaned into Eliza and whispered. What is wrong with them? I sighed and placed my backpack on the garden stool. "Okay. Come on. Tell me. What's up?" They both looked at me.

"Nothing. Just be careful. Please?" I nodded. I feel something went wrong. They just don't want to tell me. "You may go." I followed what they said and grabbed my backpack.

I made my way to the mansion and went straight to my room. Since it's still 5 pm, I decided to call Grace tonight. I placed my backpack on the floor and went to the bathroom. I had a nice long refreshing shower. I need something to calm my nerves.

After I'm done, I did my homework. I lost track of time when mommy knocked on my door and told me dinner is ready. I finished my homework and kept it inside my backpack before going to have my dinner.

I noticed mom already at the table and smiled when I arrive. "How's school?" "Good. I had fun. With a snake." Mom raised both eyebrows. "Snake? What do you mean?" I chuckled.

"You can ask Blondie and Eliza about it." Mom laughed. I heard her phone rang but she ignored it and focus on me. "Why not answer it?" "Nah. Work can wait." Did she just ignore work? That never happen before!

Mommy walked out of the kitchen with her smiling face. "How's your day Pandora?" "Good." Mommy turned to one of the maids. "We need champagne." "I need soda." I requested. They all nodded.

As I was eating, my mind keeps on thinking of Clarice and her mysterious parents. What's with Blondie's question? Why was there guards with firearms guarding her house? It honestly reminds me of this house.

"Pandora," Mom called for me and I smiled. "Did you hear what I just said?" I sheepishly smiled and shake my head. Mom shakes her head. "Follow us to LA this weekend. We're meeting Zeva."

I beamed when I heard Zeva's name. I nodded vigorously. "I miss her." Mom smiled. "We're flying on Friday night." Suddenly, I remembered my best friend. "Mom. Can I make a request?" "Carry on."

"Umm. Can my friend follow us? She has never been to LA." My parents nodded. "I'll make some preparation," Mommy said. Grace will be so happy when I told her about this surprise trip. She told me she really wants to go to LA not so long ago.

This will be her moment. Her moment that her dream come true. I continued to eat. After I'm finished I went to my room and grabbed my phone. Grace answered after the first ring.

She was so excited about the trip. I'm happy that I could make her happy. She's been an amazing friend to me and all I'm asking is to get even with her. And now, I can.
