They had been fighting for a while when Robb eventually reached them.

Several arrows remained in the bipedal dragon, which was charred by magic. The Soldier's shield was deformed and rugged all over its surface, which implied it had been hit by some violent impacts. His faulds had a piece torn out of them, and his thighs were bleeding, staining his trousers.

The Archer was in no better condition, with a deep claw mark on his shoulder.

Chapter 1: Idling But Not Thrilling
A giant, green bipedal dragon swooped over the pine forest, blowing up a strong wind that shook the trees, making a sound like waves of clattering pine leaves. Robb was there, sitting under a tree, and looking up at the dragon's bulging belly as it swooped over the treetops. He thought to himself, "I've switched my class to Divine Archer, and now I can use the skill Dragon Slaying Arrow. One single arrow can bring it down. Then, with the Advanced Flaying Skill, I can equip a Flaying Knife to get the item Dragon Hide, and with my Advanced Tanning Skill, I can make it into Flying Dragon Leather Armor. In doing so, I can gain 5 points for my Divine Archer Proficiency, 2 points for my Flaying Skill, 2 points for my Tanning Skill..." Thinking upon this, he raised his hand and slapped himself in the face, "Get a hold of yourself! You’ve already maxed out all of your levels. There's no need to grind anymore." Robb, eighteen years old, is a veteran gamer. A few years ago, he got hooked on a massively multiplayer online game, also known as an MMO, called Black Blade. The game is set in a western-style fantasy world brimming with steel and magic. It has an extremely broad and seamless world map, with various monsters and all kinds of different classes. Of its many features, the game allows players to switch classes at any time, and players can customize their favorite characters however they wish. Robb became obsessed with the game. Maybe it's because he's a Virgo, but Robb enjoys completing games to absolute perfection. Otherwise, he gets an itchy feeling which tells him that something is wrong. So, not only did he max out all of the common classes, such as Soldier, Knight, Ranger, Thief, and Priest, he also maxed out other skills such as Mining, Tree Felling, Cooking, Flaying and Tanning. He founded the greatest guild in his server, completed the most difficult quests, brought down epic bosses all on his own, and charged into wars with thousands of other players. And one day, he logged into the game and realized that there was nothing left to do. He had experienced everything the game had to offer. The world of steel and magic had completely lost its initial appeal to him, and he didn't even feel a tiny thrill when logging into the game. Well, this is probably the inevitable final destination for all gamers. He thus decided to quit the game, but when he clicked the exit button, he was somehow teleported to the world where he is now, sitting under a pine tree. His appearance resembles his character in the game. A blond and handsome guy wearing a P2W skin composed of a T-shirt and jeans. He also gained all the class proficiencies that his character had in the game. According to another adventurer he came across, this place is called the Land of Enchantment. It is a world full of steel and magic, but unlike any digital game world, it is actually real. Well, no matter if it’s real or not, it’s all the same to me. I’m tired of playing anything that involves steel and magic. He didn’t even bother to fight the Goblin that he saw poking around next to him. If it was up to the old him who hadn’t maxed out all of the classes, he definitely would've rushed over there to exercise a few slashes for one or two points of proficiency on the Goblin, a weak enemy that's easy to fight. I’m all set now! I don't want to do anything, so what now? This is clearly a new world, so why aren't I interested in exploring it at all? He stared up at the sky and began idling... Just then, he suddenly heard the sound of people in the distance, and three people came rushing out of the woods. The man in front was clad in heavy armor and brandished a large sword, and was followed by another man in leather armor with a bow. Behind them was a woman in a robe and holding a staff. She was very beautiful with exquisite facial features and hair the color of red fire. What a combination of adventurers! They have a Soldier, an Archer, and a Mage. They don't have a Priest, but the overall combination is pretty reasonable. Robb understood, of course, that there is no clear line between classes in the real world. A peasant is a Soldier with a sword; an Archer with a bow; a Mage with knowledge of magic. There is no such thing as a title hanging over one’s head. There is no EXP, no levels whatsoever. So, in the real world, you cannot tell the skills that someone has just by their appearance and clothes. There's a chance that a man with staff can stab you in the back with a dagger without a moment's notice, and that is how the real world works. This small squad of people seemed to be very discreet, as they trod every step very lightly in the woods. After entering the pines, they saw Robb sitting under the tree and paused, looking at him cautiously. After confirming that he was unarmed and was wearing a strange style of clothes, therefore meaning he was completely non-dangerous, the leading soldier spoke, "Hey! Are you from Westwind? Isn't it dangerous to be out here alone?" Robb, not wanting to get involved in trivial matters with strangers, lied to them, "I came here to collect herbs. It's a bit dangerous, but you know what? No pain, no gain." "Collecting herbs, I mean." The leading Solider asked Robb, "Have you seen a green bipedal dragon around here? It's been attacking merchant caravans, and the elders of Westwind asked us to deal with it." "Is that so? A bipedal dragon?" Robbed had indeed seen one and even wanted to make leather armor from it. He pointed in the direction that the bipedal dragon disappeared in and said, "It flew over my head just now, and was heading in that direction. It was flying low and slow as if it was returning to its nest. It should be nearby." The man who looked like a Soldier laughed and said, "Good. We've spent days looking for it, and now we finally have a lead." He turned around, smiling at the Archer and the Mage, "Let's go! If we take it out as soon as possible, we can go back for our reward." The squad nodded at Robb and said, "Thank you for the information." Robb shrugged and replied, "You’re welcome!" The three of them left, but Robb didn’t care too much. Back in the old days, he just pointed out the direction for any player who asked him about things like NPC locations, nothing more. He was never friendly enough to see through a quest with anyone. Robb continued to sit under the tree, thinking about his next move. He had no interest in exploring the world and couldn't bear the thought of those lame quests and fighting monsters. He had been doing things like that non-stop for years in the game to max out all of his levels. Things never changed and grew as boring as hell. Now I think about it, I accepted stupid quests like fighting ten monsters for years. What a joke. It's better to sit around and do nothing than stupid things like that! However, It's not a good idea to be idle all the time. Being idle in the real world requires eating, sleeping, and wearing clothes. It's not okay to sit under a pine tree, staring blankly forever. He stood up slowly, thinking, "The first thing I should do now is to go find a town where people live, right?" It's always a good idea to get something to eat and a place to sleep. At that very moment, a ferocious roar came from the distance, like the sound of a bipedal dragon, followed by a loud explosion, which must've been the sound of fire magic exploding. Heading toward the sound, Robb saw a great blaze of flame rising into the sky. The bipedal dragon that Robb had just seen flew up into the sky, spinning and flying in mid-air. A fusillade of arrows fired at it from the ground, but it merely dodged them and slapped away the rest with its wings. Then, with a roar, it dashed back to the ground. "Is that so? looks like they're fighting the bipedal dragon now." Robb had seen all of this before. He used to bump into other squads fighting small bosses, which was nothing new. He couldn't be bothered to get involved. Right now, he just needed to find someplace where people live, something to eat, and a good place to sleep. It would be quicker to ask them than to blindly wander around by himself. The Soldier guy seemed to ask something about whether I came from Westwind, so that must mean there's a town called Westwind nearby. I'd better go ask them where this town is. Robb strode towards the battle where those guys and the bipedal dragon were fighting.
