I reached the old neighborhood I used to come and see Celine, nothing has changed but it seems her house finally got a new coat of paint.
I knew from the beginning she wasn't from a rich family but nevertheless it never bothered me.
I drive up the road heading closer to her house, the last one on the hill.
I parked my car, got out and walk across the road up to front gate.
I press the button.
Ding Ding ding
I waited a while than again pressed the bell.
Ding ding ding
Nothing, before I could press it again I hear a woman's voice from behind me.
"Sir, are you lost?"
She seems confused seeing me here and I fully understand as my attire gives away my status.
"Aaa.. No actual I was looking for the young girl who lives here, Celine?"
She smiled.
"O... I see.. Well you won't find her here..."
Now I was confused.
"And why might that be?"
The lady walk to the side of the wall and set her plastic bags down.
"Young man... If you knew Celine, you'd have known she has been missing for almost 6-7 months now..."
I really can't understand what she means.
She continued
"a while back the children welfare and safety services came here and took them both, her and her young brother away from here, sending them God knows where, but I heard she took her brother and ran away, while some say she actually committed suicide along with her brother... "
I gasped at her words.
" What... Her family... Are they.. Does she... "
The lady cut me of.
" The moved days after she left and even they have gone completely of the raidar... So... "
I really couldn't believe I was to late.
Why didn't I return sooner, why did I ever leave.
I got in my car and drove to the apartment.
I got of and went inside.
I was in so much shock.
No words.
No tears.
No noting until I feel my phone vibrate.
I look at the screen.

This literally made the reality hit me hard.
The thing is...
I have known max very long and like I said he is a very cold guy on the surface but warm on the inside he has a good heart.
While I was Celine I always saw the way he got along with her and some how I knew he had feelings for jer, so when I left I thought maybe, just maybe he might look after her.
"Marshall I'm at the house in creek falls... when are you coming back..."
"Max..."
I couldn't control it anymore.
"Dude.. What the f**k is up with you?"
My sobs turned into despair and than desperate cries.
"Celine is gone max... I have lost all traces of her... Max... Its like she just vanished into thin air..."
Max said nothing.
"Marshall where are you, what are you saying..."
I could hear the anxious in his voice.
"I... I called her phone... But her number changed... Than I went to her parents house... But they moved max... The neighbors say she was taken by the child protection services and some say she killed herself... Max... I.. Please come get me..."
He gave a deep sigh
" Okay where are you... "
He suddenly asked.
" I'm at the apartment... "
Max's voice turn cold and fast.
" Marshall that girl of mine she is going there to pick up her stuff please leave and meet me at the club, or let me send Logan to go get you than I will meet you there... Okay..."
O yeah, I totally forgot his girl was staying here.
Wouldn't it have been awkward finding me here, a crying mess.?
"Marshall... Okay?"
I nod my head.
"Mmm. Okay..."
A while later Logan shows up.
We headed for the club, and the moment we got there I started drinking like never before.
Why didn't this happen...
I woke uo to the sun bursting through the curtain in my office.
Dam, I must have blacked out.
I got uo and went to my inside office bathroom.
I took a shower and got changed and than headed back down to thw bar.
I saw Logan pase uo and down at the door.
"Hey Logan, what's up, wherez Max..."
Logan suddenly became pale as a sheet.
"Logan..."
He took a look at the door than his watch than back at me.
"Marshall sir... I think you need to sit down for this..."
