powerful surprises...

As I settled into the sofa with Melinda, I started wondering when I could see Wyatt again. As strange as it is, I missed him already. But I knew he was feeling the same. Our bond gave me comfort, knowing he felt the same. "You've got some balls, Isana," Melinda said, bringing me back to the present, and I chuckled. "Why?" I asked, shocked by her words. "Because nobody would dare to call Catherine a pocket p*ssy ever, and you straight up did!" Melinda gushed, and I chuckled "hey atleast I didn't hit her like Senna wanted me to." "Senna?" Melinda asked quizzically, and I giggled."My wolf, she's quite territorial. " Melinda nodded. "My wolfs called Teimei." I smiled at Melinda. "We should go for a run and let our wolves out for a bit," I suggested. Melinda squealed and pulled me up, excited at the idea of going for a run. We went outside, and instantly, we stripped off placing our clothes on a branch for when we got back. As I shifted, Melinda gasped, "Your wolf is huge!" I looked at her realizing that I stood taller than I previously did and that Senna had grown significantly. 'I look bada*s don't I?' Senna smugly said as she raced over to the lake to look at her reflection in the water. Seeing Senna now, I knew our bond with Wyatt was the right choice. She was perfect, strong, and capable. Something I hadn't been in years. As Teimei raced over to me, I looked up, a sparkle in my eyes reflected back in Teimei, and we raced each other to the treeline by the lake. I was fast, I always was, but this fast? This was new. I out ran Teimei with ease and slowed to match her pace before we even realised it we was on the other side of the lake and Teimei was leading me to the mountains. She slowed, looking to me, and I nodded. At that, she took off with me close behind her. As we came to a pass, she turned and slowed until she reached a small gap. But only just big enough for me to squeeze through. I followed her, and as we went through, I noticed it was covered in small crystals embedded into the rock formation. Simply, it was beautiful. I wondered at the natural phenomenon. But as the opening grew wider, I heard the cascading waterfall. Hearing it was nothing compared to the awe of seeing it. In this cavern that opened to the sky was lush greenery. Tiny crystals glinting off the rocks and a sense of otherworldly beauty that I had only ever seen partly in the meadow. I shifted back and took it all in. There were no words to describe just how beautiful it all truly was. "Breath taking, isn't it?" Melinda said, bringing me back to reality. I was lost for words, I just silently nodded. I felt the presence of our goddess here, but I didn't know how. In that moment, I didn't know why, but I felt the overwhelming urge to dive into the crystal waters that gleamed unlike anything I had ever seen. And so, without a word, I did. I ran and jumped, diving into the waterfall, the water crashing over my naked skin. I felt power unlike any I had ever known within this plane of existence. This was power I had felt in the spirit world, though, when I burned the bridge to my past mate, and my body began to glow. I felt every particle of the water surrounding me, the way it moved the way it flowed. I reached out to it. It caressed me as I gripped it and suddenly I stopped moving in the water. I released it once more, and I continued to flow within the water. I swam up to the surface and thought to myself, how do I even get back up? 'Call to the water beneath you to rise,' Senna said calmly. I trusted in Senna and did as she said. As the water bubbled beneath me, I started to move upwards. It was exhilarating. The power I felt within me was incredible, and yet I didn't fear it. Melinda looked at me in shock as I stood before her, and the water flowed back down. Apparently, she was now lost for words. Suddenly her eye's glazed over and when they cleared she found her voice "we need to head back Wyatt's finished and looking for you." I nodded as we shifted and followed Teimei back the second I got to the lake. I could see Wyatt clear across it waiting. I couldn't wait to be in his arms, so I ran straight across it at full speed, willing the water to be solid on its surface. As I reached him, I shifted, jumping into his arms. His eyes widened, seeing me run across the water, the shock still on his face as I reached him and mid jump shifting to be in his arms. Before I could even say anything, he asked, "How did you do that?"
