Unknown POV

I'm currently in the Amethyst Moon Pack for the Prince and Princesses masquerade ball that their parents are hosting for their children's 18th birthday. I'm here with my family. I hate the fact that my parents brought me here because I might meet my mate. I mean I hope I do meet her but at the same time I don't want to because what if she is from this kingdom? And if she is then what will my parents say? Will they accept her to be their next Queen Luna? I sure as hell hope so because I can't imagine my life without my Luna and mate.

"Hey get your head our of the clouds and pay attention. Your parents are counting on you to find your mate and bring her home with us." Says my best friend and Beta Charles. Charles and I have been friends for as long as I can remember. He has always been there for me as I have been for him. He can be a klutz some times but I wouldn't trade him for anyone else to be my Beta.

When I walk into the ballroom everything stops when I get a sniff of the most orgasmic smell I have ever smelt before. It smells like caramel and chocolate. I don't know where it's coming from but im going to find out.

"Mate" I say in a low growl. Charles is close enough to me to hear me say this.

"Well if you smell her go get her!" He yells while I'm running away from him to find my mate.

Lucy POV

Once I caught a whiff of my mate and David heard me say mate he was on my tail making sure that I was still being polite while looking for him. I know that I won't find him so easily since the ballroom already has over 200 people in it. So while I'm looking for my mate I accedintley bump into someone. When I turn around to see who it is, I get slapped acrossed my face as I'm about to apologise to the person.

"Watch where your going! Do you have any idea of who I am?!" yelled the person I accedintley bumped into.

"Actually no i don't know who you are. That's the whole point of a masquerade, is it not?" I say back with venim in my voice. I swear to the moon goddess that if this wasn't my party, and if i wasn't the princess I would rip this bitches throught out.

"Princess are you alright?" asked David, as he had witnessed the whole ordeal.

"Princess?! As in Princess Lucielle?!" said the b***h that slapped me across my face.

"Yes as in princess Lucielle! i should have you thrown out for slapping me the way you did. Who are you to slap me when i accidentley bumped into you trying to find my mate?!" I yelled in her face. She has another thing coming if she thinks that i would let her go with out a punishment.

"I am so sorry your highness, I didn't know. I thought your where an omega or something." She said back to me. And now im livid! She thought that I was an OMEGA?! (For those who don't know an omega is the lowest ranked wolf, they are the ones who clean and cook for higher ranked wolves.)

"DO YOU HONESTLY THINK THAT AN OMEGA WOULD DRESS IN THIS TYPE OF DRESS?! NO BECAUSE THIS DRESS IS TO EXPENSIVE FOR AN OMEGA TO BUY! NOW I WANT YOU OUT OF THIS CASTLE BEFORE I DO SOMETHING THAT WILL RUIN YOUR LIFE FOREVER!" I yelled in her face. She bowed her head and left the ballroom with tears going down her cheeks.

"That was a little harsh don't you think Lucy?" asked David.

"Yes but it's to late to apologise to her. Goddess if i can't get my anger in check my parents will kill me I just know it."

"Ain't that the truth! But before you bumped into that air head of a girl, wheren't you doing something?" he asked. And he was right i was looking for the person who smelled like a god. Which wasn't too hard now since he was standing in the crowd looking at what all was going on.

Fuck he just saw me yell at that woman......I hope he doesn't think that I'm insain!

If he doesn't think your insain then I can't wait until we make him ours!

Kiki is the name of my wolf, my other half, the only being that truley gets me! Well I mean she is apart of me so it makes since!

As i turn to walk to the stranger with the mouth watering scent, I'm pulled back into a hug by my brother who had heard the commotion all the way on the other side of the room.

"What the hell happed Luce? why where you screaming at the top of your lungs? I hope you know i convinced mom and dad not to come over here so that way if you find your mate they don't know who you are!" he whispers to me so that way only i can hear what hes saying.

Then all of a sudden I'm being pulled out of his arms by a pair of hands that send sparks threw my entire body and I knew what those sparks meant. At the same time as im getting pulled out the the arms of my brother i hear a very deep growl.

"What are you doing with your hands all over my mate?!" the stranger asks my brother, still growling at him.

"Calm down mate, he is my brother." I tell him to let him know that he is no threat to him. That seemed to help a little, but not a whole lot.

"Wait, did you both just say mate?!" David and Richard both ask at the same time. I think that it's cute when they do that. Which actually happens more than when Richard and i do it.

"Yes we did just say mate. Now if you'll excuse us, my mate and I have some talking to do. Also I'm sorry for the disturbance that i have just cause, please everyone just continue with the party as if you didn't see or hear anything!" I said. Now time to take my mate off to the side to see what he's like and get to know each other.
