Chapter 4

Unknown POV

After I caught her smell i heard a commotion. So like everyone else, I went to go check it out, and I'm glad that I did. The reason why im happy is because one of the people that is causing the commotion is my mate! She looks super sexy while shes yelling at the woman who slapped her across the face. She is wearing a purple Cinderella style dress with a heart shaped neck line with more beads than any dress should have, but that's just my opinion. Her face is covered by a purple mask but those eyes are what catch me off guard. Never have I seen a person with purple eyes before! Once the woman who slapped my mate leaves I see a man run up to my mate and gives her a hug.

WHO DARES TO TOUCH OUR MATE?! I WILL KILL HIM!

Preston calm down! I know how you feel but lets see whats going on here first before we start killing people.

I say to my wolf as I walk up to my mate and pull her into my chest. Goddess i couldnt get enough of her scent and with the mate sparks adding to it i just want to mark and mate with her right here and now.

"What are you doing with your hands all over my mate?!" I said to the man who was hugging my mate after the commotion.

"Calm down mate, he is my brother." She says to me. I'm getting hard just hearing her voice!

"Wait, did you both just say mate?!" Says her brother and another guy that i didn't even see standing beside them before.

"Yes we did just say mate. Now if you'll excuse us, my mate and I have some talking to do. So if you will excuse us. Also I'm sorry for the disturbance that i have just cause, please everyone just continue with the party as if you didn't see or hear anything!" She says, which i take as my cue to leave the area so we can go somewhere private to talk. Which was the right assumption as she start dragging me off somewhere that we will be able to talk without other people being able to hear us.

As we turn a corner, a couple stop us from being alone to talk. They are an older couple that look a lot like my mate, Expecially the woman, so I'm guessing that these are her parents. Which turned out to be the case as she says to them, "Hello mom and dad, I was just taking my mate somewhere quiet so that we dont have anyone listening into our conversation. As soon as we get back into the ballroom I'll mindlink you and let you know."

They both turn there heads to me to try and figure out who I am since I'm still wearing my mask. They look at my mate and just nod their heads and kept walking past us. To say I was shocked would be an understatement. They are perectly fine with me talking to their daughter alone, knowing that we are mates, and knowing that she and I might actually mate tonight instead of later when i do my Luna ceremony. I mean, don't get me wrong im glad that her parents trust her enough to be alone with me, but i never expected it to be so soon.

"Why do you look so shocked mate? They know me and trust that i wont do anything rash." she stated to me.

"I know love, but I just wasn't expecting them to accept me so soon. They dont even know who I am. Hell I don't even know who you are yet." I stated matter-of-factly to her. She just giggled, which in turn made me smile. Goddess shoot me now if I'm dreaming because I think I died and gone to heaven!

Lucy POV

After my parents walked off I noticed that my mate was practically caught in a trance. I just stared at him for a second while he was caught in that trance to get a good look at him. I must admit that I'm VERY attracted to this man, He has short black hair and crystal blue eyes. He is very muscular, as any male wolf would be, he is 6'2" and he looks like a god! Just looking at him is making me a little wet, but I control myself before he can smell my arousal.

"Why do you look so shocked mate? They know me and trust that i won't do anything rash." I stated to him.

"I know love, but I just wasn't expecting them to accept me so soon. They don't even know who I am. Hell I don't even know who you are yet." He stated matter-of-factly to me. I just giggled, out of the blue.

What is wrong with me? I never giggle.

It's the mate bond luce, it will make you do things that you usually never do while you are around him.

As soon as kiki said that I knew that she was right.

"Well that's why I took you away from the party! So that way we could get to know each other!" I said while blushing like there was no tomorrow. Gosh, I need to get my head straight!

"Okay, so how did you want to get to know each other? Play 20 questions?" he asked while trying to hide his face. Is he blushing?! That's so cute!

"Yeah we can do that. Did you want to go first or me?"

"How about you go first with the questions, and we will go from there."

"Okay that sounds good. So what kingdom are you from?" I said because I really don't want him to be from a different one. With my fingers crossed behind my back he replies,

"If we are going to be 100% honest with each other I'm from the Periodt Moon Pack." He said nonchalantly.

Fuck, f**k, f**k, f**k!!! This can't be happening. I start to have a minor panic attack, and he noticed.

"What's wrong mate? Are you ok? Do I need to get the pack doctor?" Concern and anxiety where laced in his voice. He was showing genuine concern for me and I couldn't be happier. Well I could if he was from my kingdom!

"Why would the moon goddess bless me with a mate from an enemy kingdom!" I said with worry in my voice while looking in his amazing blue eyes.

"Wait, did you just say enemy kingdom? Which kingdom are you from?!" He said with a slight growl.

"I'm from this kingdom, and this party is for me and my brother. I am Princess Lucielle. Who are you now that you know who I am?" I ask with curiosity and praying to the moon goddess that he isn't a prince.

"f**k, you're kidding me right? Because if you aren't then I'm not sure how this is going to work since I am Prince Tristan and soon to be Alpha King."

I swear the worry in his face is something that I will never forget. How could the moon goddess do this to us? Making 2 enemy Kingdoms next heirs be mates! I need to reject him before he does me. Could I reject him though? He is the most handsomest man I have ever laid my eyes on. The only guy i have ever shown any type of affection for, well except my brother and David (which I see David as a brother as well.)
