Luna Sarah's Arrival

Taylor and Margaret sat in Mr. Bishop’s office waiting for luna Sarah to arrive. Mrs. Peters knocked on the door then opened it to let luna Sarah and Alpha Collin into the office. Taylor’s heart sank to her stomach. She felt like throwing up when she saw her father walk in with her mom. Luna Sarah looked at Taylor with an “I’m sorry look.” Alpha Collin walked up to the desk and asked, “why are we here? What did she do this time?” Luna Sarah looked at her mate and said, “it wasn’t anything Taylor did. She was being threatened by her teacher for answering the question correctly. I do not care how you feel about her, but that is not acceptable behavior. I told you not to come. If you are not going to be on your own daughter’s side then leave and I will deal with all of this.” Alpha Collin looked at his mate and growled. “You do not speak to me like that mate.” Alpha Collin said as he made sure to step closer to her. “You will not intimidate me any longer Collin. You will back away from me. I am not the person to be messed with. You’ll do well to remember that.” Luna Sarah said with her shoulders back. Taylor’s mouth dropped open as her father backed away from her mom. “You will not be punishing our daughter either Collin. Do I make myself clear?” Sarah said looking straight at Collin. He simply nodded and then gave a dirty look towards Taylor. Taylor turned her head to face straight before she rolled her eyes at him.

“Mr. Bishop, I was Mr. Thorn in here now. Tell him he better run, because I do not have the time or patience for him to take his sweet time down here.” Sarah said to Mr. Bishop. Mr. Bishop nodded and called Mr. Thorn to the office. “I am in the middle of a lecture. It will have to wait.” Sarah heard Mr. Thorn shout into the phone. Sarah turned on her heels and looked at Taylor. “Come, show me where his classroom is.” Luna Sarah said and Taylor stood up and escorted her mom to Mr. Thorn’s classroom. Taylor opened the door to the classroom and Mr. Thorn snarled and said, “I sent you to the office. Get out of my classroom you little freak.” Luna Sarah cleared her throat and stepped around Taylor so that Mr. Thorn could see her. Mr. Thorn’s eyes widened as he saw Sarah walking into the classroom. Mr. Thorn became very nervous and began to stutter as he spoke. “Lu..lu..luna S..S..Sarah. Wh..what a pleasant surprise to see you.” Mr. Thorn said to his luna. “Do you enjoy making fun of and trying to get my daughter in trouble Mr. Thorn? I’ll be honest, that is what it is beginning to look like. Taylor can not help her condition, however, you can help being an as*hole to her.” Sarah said to Mr. Thorn as she stepped forward. “I am really getting tired of you constantly picking on my daughter. What is it Mr. Thorn? Are you that intimidated by her because she can look briefly at a problem and solve it even though she wasn’t able to pay attention? She should be rewarded not punished.” Sarah continued to say to Mr. Thorn.

Mr. Thorn started becoming angry and decided the shouting at his luna was the best solution at that moment. “Your daughter is a freak. She should be in a zoo instead of school. I am not intimidated by that little freak you gave birth to. You and alpha Collin baby her and she thinks she can do no wrong.” Mr. Thorn yelled at Sarah. Sarah went to speak and that’s when they heard a loud fierce growl come form the door way. Mr. Thorn looked behind luna Sarah and gulped. “How dare you speak to my mate and your luna like that. Who do you think you are? I wasn’t going to get involved with the way you treat Taylor. Now you think it is okay to speak to luna Sarah that way and in front of your students.” Collin shouted as he walked closer to Mr. Thorn. “You are on suspension Mr. Thorn. It would serve you good to remember who your luna and alpha are. You do not speak to us in that manner, especially not my mate. You are lucky I haven’t snapped your neck for speaking to luna Sarah in such a manner. Collect your things and leave. You will not have pay for the rest of the school year. Perhaps that will teach you manners.” Alpha Collin said as he had Mr. Thorn up in the air by his shirt. “I..I’m sorry luna Sarah and alpha Collin. I..I won’t do that again.” Mr. Thorn said visibly shaking. “That is not good enough. You are finished treating our daughter like you have. You need to apologize to her as well.” Sarah said while pointing her finger at Taylor.

Mr. Thorn scoffed at the thought of apologizing to the little freak. Alpha Collin cleared his throat and shook Mr. Thorn saying, “it is best to obey your luna. Do as she asked and apologize to Taylor now.” Mr. Thorn gritted his teeth, looked at Taylor ,and said, “I am sorry for my treatment of you.” Taylor rolled her eyes and noticed the students sitting in the classroom watching the entire thing were not upset about the treatment of Mr. Thorn. Luna Sarah turned to the class and asked, “has your teacher treated anyone else like he has our daughter? Please speak up now if he has.” One boy raised his hand and said, “Luna Sarah, he treats Taylor the worst of all of us. We have tried to tell him not to, but he then threatens us as well.” Luna Sarah looked at her daughter then to Mr. Thorn and frowned. She turned back to the boy and asked, “what is your name?” The boy looked around and then said, “my name is Davis, luna Sarah.” Sarah smiled and told the boy thank you. “Thank you for letting me know. You all may be dismissed and head to your lockers for your next period.” Sarah said and then waited for all of the students to leave the classroom. “Collect your things and then leave. We will go and speak to Mr. Bishop about all of this.” Alpha Collin said to Mr. Thorn and set him down. “You better hurry up and get it done.” Alpha Collin finished saying to Mr. Thorn then they left him to it.

Taylor remained quiet during the entire ordeal. It did make her feel good learning that the students actually tried to stick up for her. She thought that everyone just hated her. Sarah put her hand on Taylor’s back and gave her a soft smile. “We are going to speak to Mr. Bishop. You can go ahead and get ready for the next class. Is Mr. Thorn the only one who treated you that way?” Sarah asked Taylor. Taylor nodded and said, “yes, he was the only one.” “Very well, off you go Taylor.” “Thank you mom and dad,” Taylor said and then ran off to her locker. Alpha Collin rolled his eyes and when it was just him and Sarah he stopped walking. “Why do we need to pretend we even care what happens to her?” Collin asked Sarah, which earned a very dirty look from his mate. “She is our daughter and I do care even if you do not. You need to accept that she can not help what she goes through. You will do well to remember that she is in fact our daughter.” Sarah said as she began walking away and then stopped and turned and looked at Collin. “Oh, and by the way, I am going to start sending her to therapy to see if she can be helped. I shouldn’t have listened to you and gotten her help when I wanted to the first time.” Sarah said and then walked to the office door and went inside to speak to Mr. Bishop. Collin stood in the hallway staring at his mate. He wasn’t sure when she grew a back bone but he was turned on by it.

Alpha Collin shook his head and then followed his mate into Mr. Bishop’s office. “Mr. Bishop, Mr. Thorn is suspended for the remainder of the school year. He has been treating the rest of the students horribly as well. It was brought to our attention that Mr. Thorn was threatening any student who would attempt to stand up for Taylor. I would suggest that he be replaced for next year. That is not how we want teachers to conduct themselves.” Sarah said to Mr. Bishop. “I agree luna Sarah. I have given him write up after write up. Unfortunately he threatened me as well. He said he would tell Alpha Collin lies to make sure I lost my job.” Mr. Bishop explained to luna Sarah. Collin was confused and finally asked, “who would he have reported such lies to?” Mr. Bishop and Sarah looked at Collin and Mr. Bishop finally said, “to you, alpha Collin.” Collin’s eyes went wide and then realization hit him. “I fell for his lies all these years because I thought he was my friend.” Collin said and then put his head down for a moment. “He was the one who put it in my head about our daughter. I never even bothered to check into what he was telling me. I am such an as*hole.” Sarah’s face softened and she walked over to her mate. “You never had any reason to question what he said. He has been your friend since you were children. I started seeing who he was, but anytime I went to speak to you about it, you never wanted to hear it.” Sarah said to Collin.

Luna Sarah wrapped her arms around her mate, then addressed Mr. Bishop. “Mr. Bishop, we are going to be sending Taylor to therapy. I should have done it way before now. I hope that it will help her.” Sarah said then looked up at Collin. Collin nodded his head in agreement with Sarah. “I hope it is not too late to help her.” Collin barely whispered. Sarah nodded and said, “We will help our daughter any way we can.” Collin smiled and said, “I think we will go ahead and have Taylor and Margaret out for the rest of the day. Taylor will want Margaret with her, so we will sign them both out for the rest of the day.” Mr. Bishop smiled and said, “I will call them down right away alpha and luna.” “Thank you Mr. Bishop.” Sarah said to him and then went to sign both Margaret and Taylor out. Taylor and Margaret gathered their things and headed to the office.
