The Mystical Era

In the Far West Lands of the world, they was a city known as Ashtoreth. Ashtoreth, one of the most supernatural city in the world and also served as the location of one the major Institute of The Arcane Arts. Its name was called “Salvark’s Academy of Wizardry and Sorcery”, created in honor of one the greatest Sorcerer, Salvark. In the school was a room called “The Debacle of Mysteries”. This place housed several Arcane artifact, weapons, mystical orbs, The Chronicle; the greatest spell book, which was created by The Great Merlin. This Place once housed “Key of Nekro” but it was banished to an unknown Domain by Merlin. [ The Key of Nekro is an S-rank Magical Artifact which possess the ability to open the gigantic, immaterial gates that was used to Seal an extremely powerful Entity known as the Embodiment of The Nether.] Also, deep within the depths of the room was another Magical Artifact which was also on par with “The Key of Nekro”. It’s name was famously known as “The Eye of Morgana”. It was shattered into three pieces by King Arthur with the use of The Excalibur. One of the pieces was hidden here in the Debacle; the second was hidden Far away, beyond the reaches of any Mortal being while the third piece was believed to be destroyed by the White Order of Wizards. The Debacle of Mysteries was always guarded by a Mage with the title “The Custodian”. One Night, The Custodian was in the Debacle doing his casual job of maintaining order in The room when suddenly he felt an eerie shadowy presence descend into the room. The Custodian who was a young Mage felt the urge to shriek but immediately regained his composure “Who’s there?” He said calmly. The eerie shadow suddenly materialized right before his eyes. It stood few yards away from him. Trying to illuminate the dark room, The Custodian waved his right hand in a tilting manner, thereby causing a bright Green colored flame to ignite on his right hand. [The odd color of the Flames signified the color of his Mana/ Arcane Energy.] He then points his ignited hand towards at the dark figure which revealed a tall dark shadowy immaterial entity. It’s entire body seemed to made out of a fog of Darkness as the fog slowly circulated around the room. The Young Mage couldn’t help himself. He immediately yelled “What in the bloody heaven’s is that?”. The Dark Entity began to pant for breathe as it suddenly released an immense screech at an extremely high frequency. The supersonic screech caused everything glass which was present in the room to instantly c***k and shatter into tiny shards. It also caused The Custodian’s Flames to involuntarily quench. The Young Mage couldn’t bare the annoying and disturbing noise as he grabbed his ears trying to block out the weird noise. After a while, The Dark Entity ceased it’s screeching as it charged at the Young Mage out of the blue but as it got dangerously close to the Mage it suddenly vanished into the darkness which engulfed the room. It began to reappear and disappear as it circled round The Custodian, thereby throwing the Young Mage into a state of disarray. “F**k this s**t, I’ve gotta end this” The Custodian impatiently yelled. His eyes soon glowed bright green as he glared at the Dark Entity with Indifference. He then waved his right hand in a circular manner while releasing Arcane energy from his palms creating a circle of Mana. He immediately slammed his fist in the middle of the circle he had earlier drawn which was about (25 inches) in diameter. In an instant, multiple Runic symbols appeared in the circle drastically causing it take a more refined. He finally conjured a Magic Circle which used to precisely blast multiple beams of Arcane Energy at the Dark Entity but thanks to the Entity’s speed, it easily dodged his attacks. The same can’t be said for the room, the more he missed his target the more he destroyed “The Debacle”. The Custodian yelled out of Frustration “Damnit, It’s way too fast!”, He boldly faced The Dark Entity which stood few metres away from him. The Entity clenched it’s as it created two Dark Arcane orb which showed that it had a high expertise in The Dark Arts. The Dark Entity sadistically cackles which gravely shocked The Custodian. “It’s my turn” It said. “So, you are capable of oral communication” He said with his interest definitely piqued. “You’re questions are meaningless…. Innate Technique.. The Custodian shrieked with despair “ It can also use an Innate Technique” He exclaimed. The Dark Entity sinisterly cackled as it continues it’s cast “Innate Technique: Domain Creation; Darkness!” It wickedly yelled. “F**k s**t, I’m screwed” The Custodian nonchalantly said It immediately smashed the Dark Arcane orb’s against each other and dramatically opened it’s hands. Within a second, the entire room was engulfed with Darkness. Finally, The Dark Entity’s spell was complete as it has just created A “Dark Domain” . “Welcome to My Domain!” The Dark Entity excitedly exclaimed The Custodian’s eyes began to glow bright green as he created another Magic Circle “ I’m not giving up yet!” He bravely glared at The Dark Entity Unlike the previous Magic Circle, this one was bigger and seemed more powerful than the previous one he made. Without further hesitation, he hurriedly blasted the Dark Entity with an immense beam of Arcane Energy. Rather being damaged by the attack, the Dark Entity casually waved it’s right hand at the incoming attack. Suddenly, it halted and slowly began to dissolve into Darkness. The Dark Entity sinisterly cackled as it screamed with excitement “ You still don’t get it… This is my Domain !”wy The Entity casually waved both it’s arms at The Custodian. This action rapidly caused multiple appendages made purely from Darkness. The appendages rapidly shot towards the Custodian. After dodging two of the Dark appendages while the others successfully grabbed him, tearing him up in place. “Awwn, what happened… I thought you were going to stop me” It mockingly said. The Dark Entity slowly walked up to The Custodian who was presently held in place by The Dark appendages. The Dark Entity wickedly grin seeing the young Mage’s hopeless condition. “You have no control here and now……YOU DIE!!” It maniacally exclaimed. The Dark Entity dramatically placed it’s right hand on the Custodian’s face and slowly it literally started to forcefully yank out his Soul essence from his body. A white steam like substance gradually oozed out of The Custodians mouth and into The Dark Entity body. As it siphoned The young mage’s soul essence, he mumbled in pain and vibrated inhumanly. Soon the process was over with The Deal Entity absorbing almost eighty percent of The Custodian’s soul essence. The Entity soon released it’s grip on the you g mage, dramatically dropping his half dead body on the ground. Afterwards, the Dark Domain began to fizzle put of reality revealing the scattered and torn apart room. “It’s time I took what I came for” It said while staring at particular artifact that remained standing despite the previous battle. The Entity focused it’s attention on a Prism which stood majestically in the middle of the room . It hurriedly went closer to the prism with it’s right arm stretched towards the odd looking Crystal Prism. As soon as it got close to the Prism a miniature size portal appeared in front of the prism. The Entity slowly reached out into the portal and finally, it’s dark creepy hands came in contact with ‘it'. Without further hesitation, it pulled out the mysterious artifact from the Prism and they it was, The First piece of Morgana’s Eye. The Dark Entity held a pitch black colored crystal which radiated with an ominous dark crimson color. “I have it…Finally, Master will be so pleased.” It excitedly exclaimed. “One down…….two to go” It added with sinister cackle. The Entity soon phased out of the scene leaving the Custodian’s lifeless body lying helplessly on the ground. A few minutes later, two people immediately ran into the Debacle. As soon as they entered, their mouths dropped wide open as they began to ponder about what really happened in the Debacle of Mysteries. One of them was a human, an Arch mage to be precise while the other was actually a Half Elf. Their names were Sir A ’lazar Mongré while the latter Ra’el, with A ‘lazar being the human and the latter being the Half Elf. (The only difference between an Elf and a Half Elf is the of their ears and lifespan.) “What in the bloody heavens happened here?” Sir A ‘lazar cursed out loud. “Sir…I think you have to see this” Ra’el frightfully pulled on A ‘lazar’s shirt. “ What is it Ra’el?” Sir A ’lazar reluctantly said. “Look!” Ra’el said while pointing to the Custodian’s seemingly lifeless body “……. HOLY s**t, What the hell happened to him?” He said while he dashed towards the young mage’s body. Immediately, A 'lazar placed his hand on the young mage's chest so he could feel his heart beat but alas his heart beat and pulse had drastically dropped. “He is dying, isn’t he?” Ra’el sadly said. Sir A ‘lazar used his index finger and thumb to open the young mage’s eyes . His eyes were extremely cold and pale which indicated the fact that he was almost dead. “Tsk….. Whoever did this forcefully absorbed his soul essence” Sir A ‘lazar furiously yelled “He’s going to die” Ra’el said Sir A ‘lazar nodded briefly “If we don’t help him quickly, he is going to…” He said “We got to save him !” Ra’el rudely interrupted “Don’t you think I know that?” Sir A ‘lazar angrily exclaimed. “I’m sorry but..” Ra’el said with his head bowed low. “I know how you feel, so don’t worry….. We’ll save him, somehow.” Sir A ‘lazar said with a straight face. “Alright!” Ra’el exclaimed with enthusiasm. “We just need to know how” Sir A ‘lazar whispered to himself “Why don’t you use that spell” A random voice just randomly boomed out of the blue. The appearance of the voice instantly startled both A ‘lazar ad Ra’el sending them automatically into defense mode. A ‘lazar instantly conjured up two magic circle which glowed bright ember and hovered in front of his palms while Ra’el created a pair of arcane dagger. “Who the hell was that?” Ra’el curiously yelled “Oh shot, Where are my manners” The unknown voice added “That voice sounds oddly familiar” A ‘lazar stroked his chin A tiny dot of Azure light suddenly appeared mid air, few meters away from the duo. The tiny dot of light gradually expanded into a human size door way. The Duo earnestly stared at Portal anticipating who will walk through it. Suddenly, someone walked out from the portal. His dark spiky hair danced gracefully due to the wind pressure exerted by the portal he created. The male youth casually exited the portal revealing his extremely handsome face with his Azure colored eyes obviously standing out. “ Long time no see, Sir A ‘lazar” The Unknown Individual said with a smirk. “Who in the seven hells are you?” Ra’el erupted in rage. “Gwydion, you’re right. It’s been a long time and by the way, Put down your daggers Ra’el.” Sir A ‘lazar smirked “As you wish, Sir A ‘lazar” Ra’el complied. “ Wait a minute, did you just call him Gwydion, as in Gwydion Emrys the grandson of Merlin” Ra’el brightly exclaimed “Yes and apparently he’s one of my old students” Sir A ‘lazar said with a nasty grin. “Wow….. That is AWESOME!” Ra’el exploded in joy Without further hesitation, he dashed towards Gwydion, behaving like a total fan girl going gaga over a guy. “Hey Gwydion, It’s nice to meet you. I’m Ra’el. A mage in training and also a Bladesinger It’s great to meet you.” Ra’el rapidly screamed “Uhhh, It’s nice to meet you.. Ra’el” Gwydion awkwardly chuckled “Ra’el, cut that out!” Sir A ‘lazar furiously yelled. “Sorry Sir A ‘lazar” Ra’el said with his head low to the ground. “Hold up, I recall Gwydion talking about a spell we could use to save the Custodian’s life” Ra’el added “No....No way , we are not using that spell” Sir A ‘lazar abjectly rejected “Like seriously, There is no other way” Gwydion erupted. “What are we talking about?” Ra'el confusingly yelled “We have to find another way!” Sir A ‘lazar angrily exclaimed “There isn’t any other way. If you want to save his life then we have got to use that spell.” Gwydion immediately added “What spell are you talking about?” Ra’el yelled with his interest piqued “Mortal beings possess an innate ability to draw power from The Weave….”Sir A ‘lazar said [The weave, an ethereal layer of Arcane energy/ Mana formed over eons ago by The Supreme Goddess of Magic, Mystra. It serves a Primordial source of Magic and life on earth.] “But due to humanity intense greed, Mystra the Supreme Goddess of Magic placed a taboo on us to prevent us from totally accessing the full power of The Weave…” Sir A ‘lazar added “Despite the taboo, we humans discovered a bypass that f**king limitation and have full access to The Weave” Gwydion rudely said with a wicked grin on his face. “Wow, I didn’t know about that?” Ra’el exclaimed with excitement “ We can use to the spell to draw a decent amount of Arcane energy which would be used to revitalize the Custodian’s Lost soul essence” Gwydion proudly smirked “ Apart from the fact that the spell is a forbidden one, the cost is too much bare” Sir A ‘lazar said “ The longer we use the spell, the more it eats up our Life force” A ‘lazar added “We have to take that chance” Gwydion said with his right hand on A ‘lazar’s back “Please, We’ve got to save him!” Ra’el exclaimed. “ Fine. Let’s do it together, Gwydion” Sir A ‘lazar reluctantly complied Gwydion simply nodded his head as prepped himself for the spell he was about to cast alongside his old teacher. Both of them stood facing each other with The Custodian’s body in the middle. Suddenly, Gwydion’s eyes began to glow with an azure color while A ‘lazar glowed bright ember. [The Azure and Ember color signified the difference in their Mana/ Arcane Energy] The duo instantly clasped their hands together which made a clapping sound. Afterwards, they carefully opened them with their right hand above the left revealing a spectrum of wavy light appeared which glowed according to the color their Mana. Seconds later, the duo suddenly clasped their hands together again. As they slowly opened them, five Spectra’s of light were made visible, connecting their right fingers to the left. Just as before, they suddenly clasped their hands again. As they opened their hands, a Mana constructed cube suddenly appeared floating in between the duo’s hands, each glowing Azure and Ember respectively. The Mana cubes had several runic symbol’s and complex shapes of various proportions. As the process went on, Ra’el couldn’t help but stare at both A ‘lazar and Gwydion in awe. “They’re so awesome!” Ra’el whispered “Galwaf ar bwery gwehyddu ” The duo simultaneously exclaimed As soon they finished the incantation, the runic cube scattered and gradually began to form a pair of gigantic Magic Power Circle’s which drastically took almost the entire room. The pair of Magic Circle’s each glowed Azure and Ember. Almost immediately, blue particles began to cluster around the duo’s magic circle. The cluster of Mama gradually began to form in the room. !Whoosh!Bang!Bam! The air in the room presently began to rotate around the point of action violently. An immense beam of pure Mana began to forcefully flow through the duo’s magic circle and into the Custodian's body. The process gradually tore apart the room itself as the pressure it exerted on it’s surroundings became too much to bare. The process wasn’t only tiring for the duo but it was also a pain filled experience, even the Custodian could feel the pain as his body began to violently vibrate. After, a couple of minutes the spell was completed as they confirmed by noticing the Custodian’s fright feeling shriek. “He….He is alive” Ra’el exclaimed totally surprised “We did it” Gwydion smiled at A ‘lazar Sir A ‘lazar briefly smiled “ Yes we did” He said “Wow, you’re awesome” Ra’el said while pestering Gwydion. Gwydion erupted with a huge smirk “Well, I am Gwydion after all, Gwydion Emrys. Grandson of The great Merlin.
