Maes tale

I link Justin and Mike to meet me at the penthouse elevator and instructed logan to stay with Vicki at all times. I informed them that I have information that she is not as she seems and is not to be trusted, do not let her know we are on to her but do not let her get away either.

I head to the elevator door to go down to get my men but before I do I have to know how Mae knows Vicki.

I turn back to her and ask, "You know Vicki? How?"

"I'll explain when everyone is here... but she's the reason my mom is... is dead."

I am completely shocked I rush to her side and hold her in my arms fighting back the tears begging to be let out. Her mother was the sweetest of ladies, I cannot believe she is gone. And Mae has had to morn her alone.

"I'm fine Ty really... Go get the guys. I will tell you all everything and together we will take her down... once and for all." She kisses my cheek and squeezes my hand. Bolt of lightning shoot through me as my mate seems not too keen on rejecting me anymore. I get up and cross to the door way. Looping back I kiss her one final time gentle on the lips and leave her with one last sentiment. "I will avenge her Mae, you have my word."

When the elevator opens Justin and Mike are both leaning against a nearby wall already waiting. I am all smiles ear to ear when I see them. Unable to contain myself I usher them into the elevator and once the door closes I burst out with the news.

"MAE IS HERE! SHE IS MY TRUE MATE, VICKI IS A FAKE. SHES DONE THIS BEFORE AND PROBABLY THE CAUSE OF EVERYTHING THAT HAS HAPPENED HERE TODAY AND BACK AT THE PACK ALL WEEK. SHE KILLED MAES MOTHER. WE WILL DISTROY HER AND WHOEVER ELSE SHE HAS WORKING FOR HER."

The guys just stare at me as if they heard everything and nothing at the same time. Then once after everything sinks in they cheer out with joy and congratulate me on finding Mae. "We are heading up to Maes room right now. She is a bit spooked but promises to explain everything just remember your manners. I can't lose her." The doors to the elevator open and we step out.

Mae's POV

TYLER f*****g KESSLER IS HERE!!!! AND IS MY MATE!!! AND HAS VICKI!!! WHAT THE ACTUAL f**k!

After I left that night I always wondered about him and how he was but after what happened... after mom I could never bring myself to return home. And now he's here and he's with Vicki. Of all the viol people there that night she is the one who deserve to pay the most for what she has done. The fact that he has kissed her is enough to make my blood boil. I will have my revenge on her if its the last thing I do.

The elevator doors open and in walk 3 familiar faces. Tyler of course, Justin and Michael. Its been only four years since I've seen any of them but its feel like a lifetime ago. Back then I was just a girl who got picked on in school. Now after all that I've been through I can't even remember what it was like to be that girl.

I stand up and Tyler crosses over and stands beside me placing his hand on the small of my back instantly relieving my nerves. It feels so good to be next to him. I know I can face everything I've been running from now with him besides me. I just hope he can accept me after I tell him everything.

"Mae, you remember Justin and Michael. The are somehow still my beta and gamma all though some days I really wonder why."

Justin steps forward and bares his neck, "Luna it is a honor to be reunited with you again. Seeing the joy you have brought out of our Alpha, I know it has been worth the wait."

"You are just as lovely as ever Luna, I vow now and forever to protect you and cast down all who would seek to harm you." Mike follows up Justins intro and bares his neck aswell.

"Thank you both but please it's just Mae. Have a seat." We all sit down on the L shaped couch. Tyler and myself snuggle in on the shorter side and the boys get comfy across the rest.

"I'm sorry but if you two are here the who is guarding Vic... Vicki?" Just saying her name hurts but I have to do this, for mom.

"Logan is with her in our room. He has had strict instructions not to let her out of his site but also not to reveal our true reasons for hoovering. For now she believes I am helping Alpha Black figure out what happened in the ballroom and Logan is there to protect her."

"You mean 'HER' room! you are ours now don't you forget that." Feya projected herself out and growled at him.

"I don't like that he called it our room. That b***h has no true claim to him. I will ruin her if she ever touches my mate again" she says to me. She Is fuming but we need to focus right now this is going to be hard ehough to relive without adding in her raging jealousy.

"Frey babe you think we could deal with that later after we tell they why we hate her so much?"

"Fine but when it come down to it, we get the final blow."

I smile apologetically at them "Sorry it seems my wolf is already marking her teritorry on you. I guess I'l just start from where we last saw eachother, the dance.

I took off that night and headed home. I convinced my mom to go away for the weekend with me. I was worried Ty would show up so i convinced her we could do some shopping for clothes once we were gone but I just needed to leave right then. We drove for about an hour when our car was hit and we were both knocked unconcious. When we came too we woke up chained with silver and tied to some chairs. Vicki was there. She and her Clan have a vendetta against all werekind and have been infiltrating packs gathering intell to take them down. We were there captures for the majority of the past four years. While there I learned about Vickis prior attempt to get to Alpha Jonathan but his true mate showed up and ruined all their plans. Thats when they discovered mom and I leaving the pack grounds. When they saw how he continued to search for me month after month the began creating a spell to duplicate my scent. The idea was to lure him into think he was smelling me but it'd be a trap but you never went searching yourself. She often mention putting herself on the front lines using my scent to.bond with you. She would get close to him playing the daughter of a dead beta with no family in need of a pack. Two weeks ago, I'm assuming is when she discovered I was your mate and her plans Changed. Though I didn't know it at the time it is safe to say that learning we were mates made her escalate her plans. Thats would have been two months after we managed to excape.

Two years ago mom and I had befriended one of there servants responsible for bathing us. They treated her badly and mom would treat her like her own daughter. When they killed her last year she promised to help me get out alive. One night when she came to wash me we ran and took refuge with Alpha Black. We told him everything we knew but I didn't know she had got to you already or exactly what she plans to do. So Alpha Black has been trying to locate their lair. Unfortunately its being cloaked so they are having trouble finding their way in. He plans to meet with the Alphas during the mascarade to get help."

"When my mom died last year, it was during one of our beatings. Vicki went too far and snapped her neck. My mom refused to give up any pack secrets she had learned from my fathers time with the guard. This whole time I thought she was taking the beating for me but now I see. They needed me alive for my scent and even more for the mate bond. My mom had nothing to do with it she was just information and collateral damage... It's all my fault." I sob into Ty's shoulder and he rubs my back.

"Its not your fault love. You couldn't have know or prevented it. I'm so sorry for your lose but I promise you we will avenge her."

"Theres more... Ty when I got here Alpha black... he granted us a safe haven and eventually gave me this penthouse under one condition... I am to bare him a son. I agreed. I was so broken I never thought I'd see you again or find a mate. I just wanted to feel safe and... we've already started... the incimination process..."

Tyler flys up off of the couch and flips the coffee table infront of him. Fuming he paces circles into the carpet muttering to himself. I know if I end up pregnant he will reject me. He is an Alpha his Luna cannot bare another Alphas child.

Justin gets up and puts his hand on Tylers shoulder. He flings it away and glares at him. Rider is there its not Tyler anymore. Justin hold up his hands in retreat. Rider looks to me and his eyes feel with pain and he looks away. I stand and approach him slowly. I grab his cheek in my hand and turn him to look at me. Tears streaming down my face I say,

"I am so sorry Rider, Freya begged me not to but I didn't listen. Please forgive us."

He blinks twice and his eyes gloss back to Tylers magical blue orbs. He wraps his arms around me and pulls me tight. "I'm sorry... We just found you we can't lose you again. Not like this. We will talk to Black. If you aren't pregnant he will have to release you to me. and if you are.. well then I will fight him If I have to. You are now and forever will be my mate."

"Not to ruin this lovely little moment but earlier when you used words like, clan and lair, what exacly did you mean?" Mike asked interupting our moment.

"You dont know... Vickis mother was a witch and not just any witch. The daughter of the most powerful witch clain in all of romania. When her mother joined the wolf pack to be with her fated mate the clan plotted vengance on them. They spared her who they had been grooming since birth but whiped out the entire pack. And now they plan to do the same to all werewolves on earth."

"You mean to tell me there are witches here in america. That they weren't all wiped out during those crazy witch trials we learned about in history. And not just any witches but the most powerful family ever known and their leader is currently right here in this hotel room locked away with the most horniess werewolf know to man?" Justin looked dumb founded and tylers eyes glossed over.

"Something wrong, I can't reach Logan."
