Once Sid is back inside Justin and Mike join Logan and I by the car. We fill them in on what we learned. Justin decides to stay at the car and look into Sid and his family while the rest of us head inside to wait and hope that she come.

It is almost 11 when Heidi bring us another round of drinks and my hope is waying thin. But this time before she turns to leave us she has the best news of the night... Vicki is on her way.

My heart stalls and I can't breath. Could this be it, could I be finally meeting my mate. Will she be a wolf her uncle's not? Will she know it's me when she sees me. Will she be happy? Will she reject me? will she- "O for the love of the goddess will you stop before you give us a heart attack before she get here!!" Rider growls in my head. "She will be perfect and all mine and I will not have you ruin this for me by being a blubbering nervous i***t, get your s**t together or I'm taking control."

He can be such an ass but he's also right. I go to the bathroom and splash some water on my face. There's no going back now she's on her way and we will find out one way or another once she arrives. I head back to the table and the guys all stare at me clearly aware of the magnitude tonight could hold.

Justin links us with an update on what he's found.

"Ok boys here's what I've found. Sid and Vicki moved here from russia when she was 11. She is 28 now and is indeed a werewolf. Sid is not her blood uncle which explains why he is human. He had a very close friendship with her parents and when they died they left parental rights to him. It seem their entire pack was wiped out in what was explained as a nuclear malfunction at a nearby plant causing an explosion and destroying the entire town. Vicki was away visiting family in Romania When it occured. I could not find any information on that part of her family or why she was left to Sid and not them."

"Was there really an explosion or was this a cover for a war amongst our kind." I asked

"Both, her pack was eliminated and then the explosion was to hide the esistance of our supernaturals. From what I can find it was a small pack of thirty or so wolves and she was the daughter of the beta."

"Thank you Justin let us know if you find out anything more abo-" I stop as the scent of lilies fill my nose. I gaze over the balcony to see a short red head standing in the doorway. As I lean over a little more to get a better view she turns up to look at me and our eyes lock.

"MATE" I yell through the link forgetting i was still linked in. They laugh as I shut them out and stand. She makes her way up the stairs and I follow the balcony rail to where the two met never dropping our eyes from one another. When she reaches the top she smiles and I do too. I take her hand and little spark grace our palm. They are suttle but they are there. I guide her oven to our booth and let her slide in excusing the boys as I join her.

"I'm Vicki, Vicki Volkov and I believe you are my mate."

I nod "I am Alpha Tyler Kessler and yes I believe I am your mate too."

We stare at eachother for a while not really sure what to say. I find myself waiting for it to hit me. The surge everybody talks about when they meet their mates but it doesn't come. Shes mezmerising and there is a slight pull, the sparks are lightling nipping at our still entertwined fingers but there's no uncontrolable urge to mark her. As if shes senses my concern she finally speaks.

"It's because I'm only half wolf, your wondering why the bond isn't slapping us in the face aren't you? It because my father was a wolf but my mother was not. She was something else but as to what I can't be sure. They always told me they'd explain when I got older but then... Well I never got to find out more but I guess whatever it is is why our bond is weak. Theirs was too at the beginning. In many ways they say their love grew like most humans do only as their love grew so did the bond until it became like all other wolf bonds."

I nod to her. I had never hear of such a thing but I do know their are creatures in this world who have abilities to surpress or dampen things. I do know shes not a vampire or a phoenix we have a few mix species couples in our pack and I witness first hand the strength of their ignital bonds. "I don't care what you are, as long as you are good and want to love me then I accept you. It may not be the typical mating story for an Alpha but I don't care. All I care is that you are mine."

She smiled and nodded.

I leaned over to her and kissed his cheek. little sparks danced across my lips and she blushed. We spend another hour getting to know one another before calling it a night. I had my pack to get back to but I did not want to leave her side.

"Would you like to come back to the pack with me." I asked not wanting to assume anything but hopeful in her reply."

"I think its best if I return home tonight. My uncle will ask questions if I leave with you and I have my things to collect from home as well. I'll tell him you invited me to go out of town on business with you to learn about the company before starting in my new position. That will give us a week together and an excuse for me not to be returning home much afterwards. I'll tell him you put me up in a place near by the pack for an easier commute. He won't like it but he will understand."

I agree to this and walk her out. The guys are all waiting by the car as we approach and they all bow their heads in respect to their new luna. Logan is the first to speak.

"I guess I'll be on my own for now on, it seems our Alpha has finally found his Luna."

I give him a look telling him to shut it. The way he said that it sounded as us going to bars was a regular thing. I could tell she thought so too and looked at me questioningly.

"Bro you've always been on your own. last week was the one and only time the boss has ever gone out with you." Mike says elbowing him in the side telling him to shut it too.

"Your Luna will be joining us tomorrow, Logan since you're are so fond of talking you can work with all the omegas in making sure everything is prepared for her arrive tomorrow afternoon, judging by my expectations you may want to nap on the ride home, there will be no sleep for you tonight." I say with A grin.

Logan groans but is cut off by my Vickis sweet voice. "That won't be necessary, I don't require much and will bring with me all that I need. You shouldn't trouble yourself or your staff on my account."

"Nothing would be troubling us concerning you ma'am you are our luna and we would he honorred to prepare our home for you," Justin said elbowing Logan again from his other side. Logan nodded in defeat. "Yes it shall be my honor."

She nodded and turned to me. "See you tomorrow them say around noon?"

"Noon is is dear, have a good night"
