"WHAT DO YOU MEAN THE CAR DOESN'T EXSIST"

I slam my hands down on my desk. I gave my guys one job, find the car that my mate was in and they can't even do that.

"The plate must not be registered. The last time it was, was ten years ago and the address connected to it is a dirt lot now being developed into condos by the Blood Moon pack." Mike said.

"Well that's something she's probably a pack member with them. Worse case we should find her come the warrior games but Rider will not shut up until we do. Mike I need you to get the list of employees who worked that bar last friday. Cross list it with any bloodmoon members and see if you can get any servalence from the bar that night. We can cross match the names with their packs photos and see if we can place them in the kitchen around the time I got whiff of her."

"Yes Alpha, but don't you thing if she was a wolf she would have smelt you too and not taken off?"

I hadn't thought of that but the trail was so faint inside maybe she couldn't pick mine up. I ignore his question and keep on.

"Justin I need you to plan for the Luna coming home with us after the Warrior Games. It's in 2 weeks. We need an extra room made up for her just incase she want her own and her office cleaned, repainted and modernized. Be sure to pack an extra bag aswell with gift for her ask your mate for help if you need to. I don't want to be stuck in another packs territory for a week without access to things to spoil her with."

All the men stare at me, Yup I'm already whipped and I haven't even met the girl. This is gonna be a long two weeks if we can't track her down before then.

"Sure thing boss, While I'm at it, Where do you keep your porno stash? I'll donate them to Logan here since you won't be needing them anymore."

Everyone laughs except for Logan who just makes a face at Justin and motions for him to stick it up where the sun don't shine.

The tension in the room is cleared and I continue, "Logan be ready to go in one hour I'm hoping she will be there again and we can avoid all of this tracking with just one more night out."

He nods and they all dispurse to work on their task.

I go to my room to get ready too. I am beyond nervous and can't think straight.

"Chill out you big baby, Shes our mate, She gonna love us... Well she will love me at least you... maybe you will get lucky and she will at least tollerate you." Right on que Rider chimes in with his unnecessary commentary, I try and ignore him and jump in the shower. He continues trying to think of girly names to call me instead of Tyler infering that I'm acting like a woman.

"Tyler more like Skyler... Sky, My, Nye, Chai---"

"Chai is a tea you idiot." I tell him

"Its still just as girly as you."

I roll my eyes and block him out. What's the point of having a wolf if all he does is annoy you. He forces his way the surface as I'm looking at myself in the mirror controling me as he talks using my voice to speak out loud "Someones got to," he cackles and gives me back control. I laugh a little but still am annoyed. "Please goddess let her be there tonight so this pup can become as whipped as I am."

He growls in my head but whimpers at the same time. The matebond is itching at the back of our mind but because we only got a faint whiff it toys with us more than anything. I know it's getting to him too.

I finish getting ready and head down stairs. Justin, Mike, and Logan are all standing at the base of the stairs this time. I give them a knowing look and Mike speaks before I can.

"We are all coming with you, there's no way she's gonna give you the slip again. Justin will stay ourside watching the perimeter. I will stay in the car casing the parking lot for the vehicle she was in and ready to tail her if she tries to slip away, and Logan will get you back into that kitchen to sniff her out."

I go to object but Rider agrees this is a great plan and if she does show she will for sure be coming home with us tonight or... if shes human at least we could know who she is and put a face to the name.

"Alright fine but if any of you scare her off before I get a chance to talk to her you will all be working with Mrs Frye in the plant nursey for a whole month after the Games."

They all groan but agree. We pile into one of our pack Escalades and head to the city. The drive is relatively quiet minus Justin singing along faintly with the radio. We make it there just before 8 the parking lot is not too crowded yet. Logan and I head inside and the other two case the lot.

A few minutes after taking the same booth on the balcony as last time Mike links me "The car is here want me to bash the headlight to set off the alarm, she's sure to come outside then?" I contimplate it but think better on it. "We don't need our first interaction being me paying for damages to her car."

"Got it. I'll park beside it and wait for your orders Alpha."

The link closes and I fill in Logan.

"You think we should wait or go to the owner now before it gets too crazy?" Logan asked.

"Probably now, more of a chance she will be able to talk before she gets too sucked into work."

We head down to the bar and Sid rounds the corner with a fresh crate of clean glasses.

"Boys you back No? You got more questions for Sid?" he gots a slight russian accent and a beer belly that i didn't notice before. Then again last time I was distracted by following my nose.

"Ya my boss here would like some more info on your inventory and ordering processes, stock rotations, seasonal needs, those sort of things. Could we have a look at the fridges again?"

"But of course, let me get these glasses put away and we look. Enjoy a beer while you wait. New import in from Russia, It reminds me of home and my grandmothers kitchen," He hand us both a bottle and returns back where he came from only to return with more crates of glasses.

I am eager to get into the back but I sip on the beer patiently. It not too bad a little bitter but enjoyable to say the least. When Sid is finished he leads us to the back. I try to be descreet as I inhale looking for her scent but come up with nothing. How can she not be here. Mike found the car she has to be here.

I link Logan letting him know I got nothing and as if he had already planned for this he interupts Sids banter with a genius idea.

"Sorry to interupt Sid but last time we were here one of your employees almost hit my boss here when he was walking you lot. Do you think if we pointed out the vehicle to you you could find us the driver?"

"I'll talk to them for you but I don't want no trouble here. You say they almost hit him but no. Your boss is ok no need for confrontations."

"I ment nearly to bring it to their attention for safety purposes for your business. You are correct nothing happened and we just wanted to talk to them so they can put a face to the danger they almost caused."

Sid things for a minute pinching on his chubby chin "No Trouble.. You promise?"

"Yes Sid no trouble."

"Ok, lead the way I will Identify car for you."

We head outside to the back of the lot where the vehicle is parked. It's the same spot as last time. When I turn to Sid and point he grows pale.

"I am sorry gentlemen but this is my car. It was my niece driving. She sometimes helps when no workers come. She left after waitress come in. She no work here. Only helps when I need it. You no speak to her."

Logan speaks up, "We understand, Thats very kind of her to help you out like that. What her name she sound like a great girl. Most girls these days would rather be partying then helping family."

"Vicki is my best girl. Her mother and father died young. I brought her here from russia to give her better life. She didn't mean to scare your boss please let us forget issue."

I chime in then not wanting to lose this only lead we have. "The issue is forgotten but I am intrigued, Ive never met anyone from russia before?, might the two of you like to join us for lunch tomorrow? We can talk buisness more, If shes as helpful as you say she may be helpful too in getting my business up and going, maybe I could even offer a more perminant job for her."

Sid looks at me sideways I think he's surprised by my offer and truely believed we wanted to hurt his niece.

"I no do lunch, but I will call and see if she will come tonight. I need to get back to work I will send word once I know. Feel free to look more if You like just please stay out of workers way.

With that He headed back inside and I begin holding my breath that she will come.
