CHAPTER NINE.

Alpha Jaxson's point of view. "You called us, brother?" Evan asked me as he walked into my office with Chris, Eric and Matty. "I've just spoken to her." "And?" Matty and Evan asked at the same time. "I can't believe I'm saying this, but she said she didn't do it, and I believe her." "She would say that though, so we won't kill her. She's lying!" Evan piped up. "Go in there and see for yourself, Evan. She isn't lying." "Well then, what do we do now?" Chris asked. "I've no idea. She wants to go back and live with her Uncle..." "Good. Send her back-" "Enough, Evan." "I'm just saying. We'd be better off with her gone." "EVAN! Enough. She is still my mate, and my wolf wants her here." "You can't be sure she didn't do it. She's lost her memories. She has no idea what she did or didn't do." "Then by all means Evan, go speak to her! You'll only come to the same conclusion as me. Even if she did do it. She is not the same person and she wouldn't do it now!" "So what are you going to do with her?" Eric asked. "I don't know what to do." I sighed, defeated, plopping down on my chair. "I don't want her here. Take her back!" Evan brewed. "I can't take her back are you not hearing me?" "Well, what's she going to do here?" Chris. "I'm going for a run. No one does anything to her or speak to her until I have decided what to do." ***** Aira's point of view. It has been three days since I last saw Alpha Jax... He still sends Cassie up three times a day to give me food. I'm sitting here every day on this feather-quilted bed, and all I want is for him to come and see me. I have no idea what I want anymore. I thought I wanted to go to my Uncle's but all I have been able to think about is seeing him. Why? I don't understand. I am his prisoner. I should want to escape... I shouldn't want to see him, but I do. Why? My mind won't stop freaking out. This whole room smells like him, and I just wanted him to come and see me. The door opened, and a man walked in. I hadn't seen this man before. He wasn't that tall. He had small green eyes and mousey brown hair, and he was reseeding a little. "Come on" His grizzly voice came. "What's happening?" I asked him as he held the door open for me. "The Alpha will explain." He smiled at me. I don't think it's good news because his smile wasn't genuine. But something inside me made me squeal internally. I was excited, I couldn't wait to see him. We walked down the stairs and everything felt strangely empty. When we arrived at the front door, there was an S.U.V. Waiting for us, he opened the door for me and I jumped in. "Where are we going?" I asked as the driver drove away when the man jumped into the car. "The Alpha's meeting with your Uncle, you're going back home." he said, but his face held no expression or emotions. "Really?" I asked him curiously. This whole situation felt strange. "Yes, Enough questions just wait until we get there. It won't be long." He said as he relaxed his head on the headrest. "Where are we meeting them?" I asked, and he sighed, lifting his head up to look at me. "Just wait patiently, will you?"He said as he was growing in frustration. "Sorry. I'm just surprised as to whe-" He raised his hand and then the back of it connected with my cheek. A stinging sensation burned through my cheek as it immediately felt swollen, and I could feel thumping coming from it. Both my hands raised up to help my cheek trying to muffle the pain. "SHUT UP!" He yelled at me as he readjusted himself into his seat. Nothing but panic enraged my body as I found myself banging on the doors and windows of the S.U.V. I was screaming so loudly that I could barely hear the two men talking as they tried to grab me to sit down. The S.U.V finally pulled over, and the driver ran out, opened my door, and started dragging me around toward an abandoned building while he was covering my face with the palm of his hand. "You morron, you didn't have to hit her!" He was yelling at his friend. "She wouldn't shut up!" His friend replied as he grabbed my legs and started walking me into this dirty old building. Once we got in, they let me go and started dragging me down the stairs by my hair. Not caring if they hurt me or not. No matter how much I screamed, they carried on dragging me until we reached a cell. Just an empty room with nothing inside it.
