CHAPTER EIGHT.

Aira's point of view. What the hell just happened? Why did he just do that? And leave? I'm so confused. I sat up on the bed and looked around, searching for my clothes. After I found them and put them back on, I walked over to the balcony and took a seat. If he thought I was the reason his pack and his family were gone, why did he just do that to me? Why did I let him? I sat there for ages, trying to figure out what happened. Anger started brewing up inside me. Was he toying with me? He said I destroyed his pack and that my parents and I were murderers... So why did he do that? I don't remember my parents, but their sins aren't my sins. I know I didn't do anything wrong. I just knew it. I wish I remembered him. I wish I knew what happened so that I would know for sure. A knock came at the door and the blonde-haired-green-eyed guy popped round and gave me a smile. "The Alpha wants you downstairs to eat some food." He smiled at me. "I don't want to face him." I spoke before I thought. "I know you are in a weird situation but you've got to eat some food. Jax won't let you starve." He sighed as he stepped closer to me. "When will he let me leave?" I asked him, ignoring what he said. "You want to leave?" He asked, confused. "What do you mean? Of course, I do. You guys kidnapped me and brought me here and locked me in a basement for I don't know how long. Yes, I wanted to leave, right now. In fact," I snapped. I didn't raise my voice, but my tone was enough for him to tell me I was angry. "You need to go down and get some food." He Huffed, matching my tone, turning around so that I'd follow him. "I'm not going to him. I'm going home." I said as I walked closer to the door. I didn't expect to just wander out freely, but I had to give it a go. "You can't leave. The Alpha will go nuts." he said as I brushed by him and started walking down the hallway to the staircase towards the great big double doors that I'm assuming were the exit. Mere moments later, I heard a thunderous roar of someone's footsteps bolting towards me. I turned around to see him. The man that I was mated with. His great big stature, his dark black hair, his musky pine smell, and His deep blue eyes danced between blue and red. He looked furiously angry. I had only a moment to see the anger building up in his face before he threw me over his shoulders and walked back to his room, which was now my new prison, apparently. He threw me on the bed of his room and slammed the door loudly. His eyes turned back to blue and stayed that color as he kept his deep gaze on me. "Where were you going to go?" He asked me calmly. "I didn't think any further than leaving..." I replied, matching his tone. "Your Uncle's pack is miles away, and you don't know where you are going. What you were just going to wander about on your own?" He asked again calmly. "Anywhere's better than here." I muttered under my breath. "Oh, really? You'd rather run around out there being hunted by rogues who would slowly take you for all you have and then kill you when they are bored pleasuring themselves with you? You think that's better than being here?" He asked angrily, but his voice never changed. "You can't talk!" I stood and stepped in front of him. "You did what you did to me, and you just left me! What do you want from me?!" I yelled at him, wanting answers. "You can't talk to me that way!" He growled. "I just did." I stated, crossing my arms over my chest. "You're my mate. You belong to me." "I belong to no one, not even you." I started again, looking into his deep blue eyes and keeping my confidence. "Really? What are you going to do about it? No one knows where you are. No one in my pack will let you go, even if you somehow manage to escape. I'll find you. I'd find you anywhere." He growled coldly as he finally pressed his body up against mine. "You don't want me here. You don't like me! Why can't I just leave?" I tried to reason with him. "Who said I don't want you?" He asked, his voice somehow becoming deeper. Just for a moment, his eyes flashed red, his expression looked pained. "You! You're so hostile towards me! You hate me for what my parents did to your pack!" I said, annoyed. "I never said I didn't want you. I never said I didn't like you." He said gently but still in his deep voice. "Well then, why are you treating me this way?" I asked him, unfolding my arms, searching his eyes for anything that would give me a hint. "You...Your parents, your whole pack destroyed mine." he told me calmly as his eyes shifted back to his deep blue and rested there. "I told you. I wouldn't do anything like that!" "I know you wouldn't! Okay? I believe that it wasn't you. It's just I know what I saw and I saw you...Not you but the you before you lost your memories and I just can't look at you without everything coming back... My parents died, and my whole pack was slaughtered. I look at you, and that's all I see." "I'm sorry... I don't know what else to say." "You don't have to say anything... Matty thought bringing you was a good idea" He scoffed and then sighed. "I wish I hadn't." He muttered. "Can't you just take me back to My uncle?" Without so much as a warning he looked at me and his eyes were glowing that tainted red. "You aren't going anywhere! Drop it!" He roared before he stood up and slammed the door, locking it behind him.
