Going home.

The Vampire Queen's Pet Chapter 26 Jax's point of view. When we wake up in the morning, I get the shock of my life. Isabella is awake before me; it's like she has a new lease of life now. I smile as I turn to look at her as I say. "Why are you awake so early?" She giggles as she replies. "Sorry, I didn't want to wake you; you were sleeping so peacefully." I chuckle; our roles have been reversed. "I've never slept in bed this long." I say as I look at the time; Ysabella giggles. "You must have needed it, but then again, we did use up a lot of energy last night." I laugh as I ask. "So why are you awake so early?" "I'm starving." She replies. "Can you believe it, im actually f*****g starving; please tell me you have some bacon left.' She asks with a grin. " Yes, we have bacon left, and sausage and eggs and beans and tomatoes and black pudding." I say with a chuckle as Ysabella dives out of bed, throwing on one of my t-shirts that covers her to her knees, and she's out of the door before I've even swung my legs off the bed. By the time I've caught up with her in the kitchen area, she's already made a start on everyone's breakfasts. Dancing around the kitchen as she goes. Bear stands beside her as he helps to prepare the food, and I sit back and enjoy the show. And what a show it is, She opens a tin of beans and sticks her finger inside to taste the juice, washes her hands then repeats the process with a can of tomatoes. She's dancing away as she pops the top of the tomato sauce, yeah you guessed it. She has a taste of that too, then the brown sauce; I giggle when she even has a go at the butter judging by her face though, she is not too keen on that one. Bear shakes his head beside her, amusement dancing in his eyes as he watches her. You can't help but laugh at her, though; she's infectious. It's like watching a naughty child. By the time the pair of them are finished cooking, she has an audience watching each one with a massive smile on his face. It's good to see her so happy, and looking around, I think that everyone else in this room would agree with me. She grabs a plate piling it high with everything that is on offer before she comes to sit beside me. I look at her plate as I say. "You won't be able to eat all that." Her eyes go wide as she says. "Just f*****g watch me." I do, but then again, I can't take my eyes off her, and I smile when she mops up the last bit of egg with yet another round of bread. She ate the lot. Bear grins, shaking his head as he says. "How the f**k has someone as little as you ate that lot? Where the hell did you put it?." She reaches down, patting her belly before she replies. "In here, look, I have a food baby." I grin, knowing that one-day I'm going to put a real baby in her belly, one that she's desperately wanted for so long. I can't wait to see her belly swollen with my child. That thought stays with me the rest of the day; I have never thought about being a father; I never felt that I wanted that responsibly, if I'm honest, but with Ysabella, I want it all. I picture our future in my head Ysabella and I, with a family of our own, boys that I can teach how to play football and baseball and little girls with eyes the colour of the bright blue sky just like their mums. We spend the day saying our goodbyes as the teams begin to make their way back home; Ysabella hugs every single one of them. Cookie is patiently waiting his turn before he joins his team. Bear has finished his final stint in the army and has decided to join us at the Crypt for a while. This is the man who has taught me everything that I know, and we will be lucky to have him on our team at the Crypt. I think it will also be good for Bear, he's the kind of person who needs to be kept busy, and he always brings out the best in people. We finally see the last of the team's leave until it's just the three of us left. Once the bunker is locked and secured I take Ysabella's hand in mine as I say. "Let's go home, baby." Bear chuckles before throwing a massive arm over each of our shoulders as he says. "Yeah, let's go home, babies." We both roll our eyes before we reply. "Yes, Dad." The three of us climb into the jeep before making the journey to the crypt. I take the driving seat; Bear waits to see where Ysabella wants to sit; she jumps into the back seat; I smile as I watch her through the rearview mirror. She's eating a bar of chocolate….of course. She shrugs her shoulders with a cheeky grin when she catches my eyes on her. I smile back; I'm just happy to see my baby happy. Besides, she has another forty plus years of food to catch up on yet. I must get her some ice cream; I wonder when the last time she ate ice cream would be; maybe if I'm lucky, she might even eat it off me. Or better still, let me eat it off her….Damn, I hope so. Okay, I think I need to get my mind out of the gutter and stop thinking about eating ice cream off those luscious round mounds and those perfect erect n*****s of hers and concentrate on driving. Or none of us will make it back to the Crypt. Another two hours drive, and we're finally pulling onto the road that leads up to the Crypt, God I've missed this place and my boys. I can see big Stan standing in the doorway alongside Dylan, the newest member of the clan; he's looking well. Much better than the last time that I saw him. I have no idea of his reaction to me bringing Ysabella here, im sure he will understand once he knows the whole story.
