Chapter 25

Jax's point of view.

I carry Ysabella through the bunker to her bedroom, gently placing her on the bed. I remove her shoes before sliding next to her and pulling her into my arms as I whisper.

"Please come back to me, baby; I love you so much, you promised me a future, but now we can have our forever Ysabella."

I say it over and over again, but still, she stays still with no signs of waking up until I finally fall asleep with her in my arms. It's been a crazy and stressful day, that's for sure.

When I wake up in the morning, Ysabella is still sleeping; I stay with her telling her how much that I love and need her and how I can't wait for our future together, marriage and a family. I want it all with her.

Bear knocks on the door before popping his head around the corner as he says.

"Here, Son, I've got you some breakfast."

"Thanks, Bear", I reply with a sigh; he puts a tray down on the side table, looking over at Ysabella as he asks.

"No sign of her waking up yet then?"

"No, nothing."

I reply.

Bear puts his hand on my shoulder as he says.

"Have faith, Son. She will find her way back to you. My Sister slept for two days after Ophelia cast her spell."

I nod my head with a half-smile, his words offering me a little hope. Bear leaves the room as I start breakfast, leaving the dirty plate on the side when I've finished. I don't want to leave her for a second; I need to be here if she wakes up.

The afternoon soon rolls by after spending the morning telling Ysabella just how much I love and need her, kissing her hand and her lips. I pull her back into my arms, kissing her forehead as I whisper.

"You need to wake up now, baby; you're starting to make me worry. Oh, and I have chocolate, lots of chocolate for when you wake up.

She sighs, and I turn my head to look at her face, thinking that I imagined it as she mumbles.

"Mmmm, chocolate….."

She opens her beautiful eyes; only they are not the same dark Sapphire blue that they were the day before; they are a beautiful bright blue that matches her personality. I can't help but stare as she moans.

"Where is my chocolate?"

I chuckle as I reply,

"I've spent the last 24 hours telling you how much I love and need you in my life, and all I needed to say to wake you up was chocolate."

She giggles before she says.

"Oh god, Jax, please go and get me my chocolate."

I grin as I walk out of the room; Bear looks up at my smiling face as he says.

"She's awake, isn't she?"

I smile as I reply.

"Yes, she's awake."

The guys in the room let out a cheer; most of these guys are getting ready to leave now; I'm sure it's a big relief to know that she's awake before they go.

I open the fridge and find the chocolate, as I say to Bear.

"She wants chocolate."

He chuckles as he replies.

"She's a woman that hasn't had chocolate for a very long time; I've got to see this."

He follows me back into Ysabella room; she smiles when she sees him, and he pulls her into his massive arms as he says.

"It's good to see you awake, kiddo."

I hand the chocolate bar over to her as myself and Bear sit back and watch the show.

She opens it so slowly, sniffing a piece before she pops it in her mouth, she lets out a moan.

Fuck………licking her lips as she saviours every last bit of it.

By the time she's finished, I'm hard as f**k. I adjust my pants, hoping that Bear doesn't notice me perving over a woman eating a bar of chocolate.

But then the tears start to fall down her face; I jump up and pull her into my arms as I say.

"What's up, baby? Do you not like it?"

She cries some more, wiping her tears and her snotty nose on my shirt as she says.

"It just tastes so f*****g good."

Bear throws his head back as he lets out a belly laugh before he says.

"I'll leave you both to it. This could be a long night, Jax; she has a lot of chocolate to get through."

I grin as I look at her tears of happiness, not giving a s**t about my damp and snotty shirt. She's happy, and that's all that matters to me.

I spend most of the night laughing at her as she tries lots of different things, some bringing memories and her family and childhood back. I comfort her whenever she needs it, but I spend most of my time laughing at her reaction to food.

It makes you realise just how much she has missed out on the little things in life.

After sharing dinner with the boys, we finally fall into bed together; she kisses me hard before she straddles me as she starts to take my clothes off.

I guess things feel different for her in that department too. I can't refuse a newly turned sexy human, now can I.

As soon as I get a taste, I understand what she's feeling; everything seems more intense, hotter and wetter and oh so f*****g good.

If I thought Ysabella was sexy as a Vampire, as a human, she's out of this world.

We finally fall apart, satiated and exhausted and totally in awe of what we've just shared.

Life has never been better, and I can't wait to spend the rest of mine with Ysabella in it.

Tomorrow the team's are heading back to their bases. I'm not sure where Bear's heading, yet he knows he's always welcome by my side, or he's welcome to stay at the bunker. I don't need to tell him, though.

And I'm taking Ysabella home to my house and to meet everyone at the Crypt. Those guys are my family, and I know that they will welcome my woman with open arms.

I pull my sexy woman into my arms before falling into a deep sleep, finally able to relax and enjoy the simple things in life.

It feels as though a massive weight has been lifted from our shoulders.

I can finally breathe. Now I know the Vampire King is now more and Ysabella is safe.
