Chapter 9Dinner at Anthony’s apartment was only called that because Anthony’s apartment was the venue. Gabriel did most of the cooking, though Anthony tried to help. The most he could do was cut the vegetables while Gabriel prepared the actual roast. It was a fancy meal, on Gabriel’s dollar, hosted at Anthony’s apartment because Anthony still didn’t have a car. Gabriel didn’t mind; Anthony’s apartment had certainly gotten cleaner since he’d started visiting more frequently.
