CHAPTER 6
Marsha called their lawyer first thing the next morning. She explained about Laura’s medical bills and how she and Brian would like to pay them anonymously. The lawyer said he would look into it and get back to her. Marsha called Brian at Danny’s, where he was working on inventory. She told him the lawyer was looking into Laura’s medical bills and he would let them know as soon as he had the information.
“Thanks for checking. I love you,” said Brian.
“I love you, too,” said Marsha.
