While Marissa was worrying about what to wear on a tour of the dairy farm, Marsha was receiving a call from her lawyer. When she finished talking to him, she smiled and quickly called Brian at Danny’s.
“Hello,” said Brian.
“Hi, I just got off the phone with our lawyer,” said Marsha.
“What did he have to say?” asked Brian.
“He said he talked to the person in charge of the fund to help policemen and their families. He said we can donate money to them designated for the Sands family bills. It can be done anonymously. He can handle the transfer. The total is not as bad as I thought. We can pay it off and add in some more to help with future expenses. What do you think?” she paused for an answer.
