Gary came into the living room. Mary had sent him to tell Laura and Mac supper was ready.
“Hey you two,” said Gary. “Are you ready to eat?”
“Yeah, I’m starving,” declared Mac. Gary and Laura laughed. Mac was always starving. Mac hurried out, headed for the dining room. Gary came over to where Laura was sitting. Laura took her cane and rose. She was light-headed and dizzy for a minute.
Gary took her arm. “Are you okay?”
“I’m fine,” said Laura. “I guess I must have got up too fast.”
“Have you had dizzy spells before?” asked Gary.
“No, I have had a couple of light flashes, but the doctor said there was no improvement,” said Laura.
“Hmmm,” said Gary.
