Kabanata 5—Confused

"YOU think so high on yourself, Ferranci! I thought, only women are assuming. But it seems like--" I shook my head. Sinadya kong bitinin ang sasabihin. And just like what he did, I scanned my eyes on his body. But damn him! I won't give him the satisfaction he wants. He's an as*hole. Marhianna do not deserves someone like him!

"Why the hell did you think that I am seducing you?" I walks towards him. Umikot ako sa kanya and stop on his back. I know, his jaw were clenching. He's mad. And so do I! Hindi ako makakapayag na pagsabihan niya ako ng kung ano na hindi ko naman ginawa! I will avenge!

"You won't f*ck me? Of course! You won't f*ck your woman's daughter coz I will never give you a chance to f*cking f*ck me!" I gritted my teeth. I wanted to shout on him. But I won't. Galit na galit ako at gusto ko siyang saktan. But hurting him physically won't give me justice. I want to step on his ego. I really want to!

Tumingkayad ako, not minding his heavy breathe. Inilapit ko ang mukha sa puno ng kanyang teynga. "You will never have the taste of me, Juddah. Coz you know why? You will forever remain my f*cking soon to be Daddy."

Hinaplos ko ang braso niya bago napagdesisyunang lumipat sa harapan niya. I scanned again his body and my eyes stopped on the bulge between his legs.

`I smirked before darting my eyes on his eyes. "So dream on."

I turn my back on him and went to my room. The moment I got inside, mabilis akong sumandal sa likod ng pinto at saka umiyak.

My hands form into fist. Don't cry Maldrid! Wala pang lalakeng nagpaiyak sa 'yo. So stop it!

Inis kong pinunasan ang luha ko before I decided to take a bath. After nun, I get my luggage at nilagyan ng mga damit. I'm going to leave this house and I will not comeback until he left.

I can't stomach him. Hindi ko siya kayang tingnan kahit sa mukha. I hate him!

When I think na wala nang kulang sa mga dala ko, I immediately went downstair. Sarado na ang mga ilaw sa living room and I think, he's on his room already.

"Miss Maldrid, saan ho kayo pupunta? Gabing-gabi na ho."

Sinamaan ko ng tingin ang guard. "Wala kayong pakealam. Now open the gate!"

"Miss." Umiling siya.

"I said open it now!" Nagpupuyos na ang damdamin ko. Dagdagan pa ng mga guard na sunod-sunuran sa demonyo nilang amo!

"Miss Maldrid pero hindi po talaga--"

"Let her leave."

I didn't face Juddah at my back. Wala akong planong magpasalamat sa kanya at hinayaan niya akong umalis. Hindi ko 'to utang na loob sa kanya.

Nang tuluyang magbukas ang gate ay agad akong lumabas. "Ako na! Don't help me! Kaya ko!" singhal ko when one of the guard tried to help me to carry my luggage.

Nagtuloy-tuloy ako sa paglabas. It's already eleven in the evening. At bihirang may maligaw na taxi sa subdivision. But I don't give a damn. The important thing is nakaalis ako.

I started walking pero hindi pa man ako nakakalayo when a familar voice called me. I turn to my back and face Aidon. He was leaning on his car while smoking.

"Why are you still here?" I walk towards him.

He shrugged his shoulder. "Why do you have a luggage with you? You're leaving?"

"Yeah, so please drive me to Gia's unit."

Pinatay niya naman ang yosing hawak saka tinapon 'yun sa lupa. "Are we really done now, Maddi?"

"I already said it, right?"

He shook his head. "Damn! Franco's right. Hindi ka nagseseryoso."

I chuckled. "Ikaw din naman di'ba?"

I'm so thankful at nandito si Aidon. Hindi na ako nahirapan pa and after an hour, we are already on the building.

"Bye Aidon." I kissed him on the lips before I turn my back on him.

I entered the building and went directly to the lift. I pressed the floor unit of Gia. And minutes later, I was already in front of her door. I have a spare key but I still pressed the doorbell. Hindi ko kasi alam kung nandyan s'ya at may kasamang lalake ba o wala.

Pero nang makatatlong pindot na ako ng doorbell at wala pa rin, that's when I decided to use my spare key. The unit was dark. Obviously she's out again.

I heaved a sighed saka naupo sa couch, leaving the unit, still dark. Itinabi ko sa 'kin ang luggage saka tumingala.

Hindi pa man umiinit ang pang-upo ko nang tumunog ang phone ko. Napa-sentido ako when it was Marhianna who's calling me.

"Marhianna."

"Where are you, Maddi? Your Tito Juddah called me and he said you left the house. What's wrong?"

I leered. Napaka-sumbungero ng putangina.

"Didn't he told you that we fought?"

She was a bit stand on the other line. "N-no."

I laughed sarcastically. Ang lakas ng loob magsumbong, kulang-kulang naman pala. "I'm in Gia's unit. No need to worry about me."

"Please Baby, go home now," she worriedly said.

For the second time, I leered. I even rolled my eyes. "Saka na lang ako uuwi kapag wala na ang manliligaw mo. Sige na Marhianna, I'm going to rest now--"

"Wait Maddi."

"Why?" I yawned. It's already twelve midnight. Gusto ko nang matulog. Feeling ko ang daming nangyari ngayong gabi na inubos ang lakas ko.

"D-don't you want Juddah for me? I... I can dump him immediately."

"Oh please Marhianna, doesn't mean that we fought ay gusto ko nang iwan mo siya. I'm not childish. Just call me na lang tomorrow if nakauwi ka na. But I won't promise na babalik ako sa bahay kapag nandyan pa si Juddah." At baka mabastos ko pa siya mismo sa harap ni Marhianna.

After that call, I lay down on the couch at hindi ko namalayang nakatulog na pala ako. I woke up exactly at six in the morning because of Gia.Mukhang kauuwi niya pa lang at naka clubbing outfit pa siya.

"Morning, Maddi. You didn't call me last night na pupunta ka dito."

"Biglaan lang." I yawned. "Kauuwi mo pa lang?"

She sat on my side. Humikab din siya at ginawang unan ang balikat ko. "Namin. Kauuwi pa lang namin. Adrianna's with me since it's saturday naman."

I nodded.

"So tell me, bakit biglaan ang pagpunta mo dito?"

I stood up and went to the sink. I washed my face and gargle my mouth. "It's Juddah."

"What about him?" Gia followed me.

"We fought. Damn him for accusing me that I was seducing him!" Bumabalik na naman tuloy ang galit na nararamdaman ko. I really want to slap him again and again.

"What? Seriously? He said that?" Gia chuckled at me.

I leered. "You wouldn't see me here standing if it's not true."

"But why? What did you do?" she curiously asked.

I started telling her the whole story. Kahit 'yung sinabi ni Juddah about sa Club, hindi ko pinalagpas.

"He's a man but he's assuming."

"Yeah. That was exactly what I told him." I grimaced at Gia.

I went on the kitchen counter and brew a coffee.

"Or maybe, you were really seducing him. He wouldn't say it kung wala siyang napansin."

I stopped what I'm doing and face Adrianna. She was wearing an over size shirt and leaning at the wall.

"Kanina ka pa d'yan?" I rolled my eyes at her.

"I wouldn't comment if I didn't hear you two talking," she nonchalantly said. She even shrugged her shoulder.

I leered at her. And now, let us all welcome, my serious girl friend.

"Whatever."

They followed me at the dining. Naupo silang dalawa sa magkabilang gilid ko.

"Adrianna has a point Maddi. Maybe you were really seducing him. He wouldn't really say it if it's not your intention to seduce him."

Ibinaba ko sa mesa ang tasang hawak ko saka inirapan din si Gia. This girl was really easy to be influenced by other's opinion. Lalo na kung si Adrianna.

"Even you, Gia? Oh God! You girls, know me. Mas alam niyo pa ang kalokohan ko kaysa kay Marhianna. Kaya bakit niyo nasasabi 'yan? I told you already, I was making out with Aidon when Juddah saw us. And about the Club, I was just trying to shake his hand. That's all! Nasaan ang pang-aakit doon?" I asked, frustrated.

Ilang beses ko nang sinabi that I won't deny myself na minsan ko nang natipuhan si Juddah. And the fire I felt while staring at him while making out with Aidon, I won't really deny it. But I have no f*cking intention to seduced him. And just like what he said, I still have decency in me. I still respect Marhianna.

"I have another point of view."

My gaze darted at Adrianna. My brow arched. "Just make sure that I will like what you'll going to say."

She leered and rolled her eyes. "Maybe, you really affects him, Maddi. The way you stare at him while making out with your boy toy, he thought that you are really seducing him. He's just a man with needs. Madaling maakit."

Gia agreed to her.

I smirked. "Kung ganun, naaakit siya at hindi ko siya inaakit. Magkaiba 'yun."

The whole day, we spent our time in unit. We watched Rated R movies at tili nang tili si Gia because the hero was so hot. Si Adrianna naman, paminsan ay matatawa at madalas ay tahimik lang.

Evening came when Adrianna receives a call from her brother. Pinauuwi siya at dumating ang isa niya pang kapatid galing ibang bansa kaya napilitan siyang umuwi.

And now, kami na lang ni Gia ang natira sa condo. Dinner came and we didn't bothered to cook. We just call for an order since pareho kaming tinatamad.

Midnight came and Gia fell asleep already. Pinatay ko na ang TV saka nagligpit ng mga pinagkainan naming popcorn. Hinugasan ko na rin since I wasn't sleepy yet.

Matapos nun, pumasok ako sa kwarto ni Gia. I went to the balcony and was watching the city light when Marhianna called. I didn't received a message from her the whole day. Pero ang alam ko ay ngayon ang balik niya.

"Yes Marhianna? Are you home already?" I asked immediately.

I didn't get a response from her. I just hear her sigh.

"What's wrong?" I am worried now. Ganito lang naman siya na tahimik kapag may problema.

"Your Tito Juddah was sorry for what he did. Maldrid, he didn't mean shouting at you. He's just concern dahil tumanggap ka ng bisita, dis oras na ng gabi at lalake pa."

My gripped on the phone tighten. And now he's lying at Marhianna. Why didn't he say the truth that he accused me for seducing him? F*ck him!

"Are you home now?" I diverted the topic. Ayaw kong magkomento at baka kung ano pang masabi ko.

"Maldrid..."

"Let's not talk about it, Marhianna. So tell me, you home now?"

She heaved a sigh again. "Yes. Kadarating ko lang. You can come back here tomorrow, Baby."

"Did he left already?"

"Maldrid."

I rolled my eyes. "Saka na ako uuwi kapag umalis na ang manliligaw mo." I ended the call. Ayokong pahabain pa ang pag-uusap namin at baka magtalo pa kami. The least thing I want to do right now is to fight with my mother.

Pinanindigan ko ang sinabi ko kay Marhianna na hindi ako uuwi hangga't hindi umaalis si Juddah. The next day, she keeps on calling and texting me pero ni isa doon ay hindi ko sinagot. I texted her once about my decision. Ayaw kong maipit siya pero mas ayokong makita si Juddah.

"You ready, girl?"

I nodded at Gia. I get my purse saka lumabas na ng unit. We will go clubbing for tonight.

"Are you sure na sa same club tayo pupunta? Pwedeng nandun si Juddah."

I buckled up my seat belt and smiled at Gia. "So? It's as if he can do anything kung makita niya ako doon... by the way, nasaan na daw si Adrianna?"

Gia maneuvered the car. "She can't make it tonight. She's still spending his time with his brother at aalis na naman next week."

We took it only half an hour bago kami nakarating sa club. Wearing my sexy outfit, I smirk at the man checking me out.

Pumunta kami ng diretso sa second floor. Sa VIP room. Mamaya na lang kami makikihalubilo sa mga tao sa baba. We just want to drink. Mamaya na ang landi.

"Sayang lang at wala si Adrianna."

"Yeah. Pero may next time pa naman." I sipped on the glass of my liqour.

It's already ten in the evening. It's not that late pero madami na ang nainom namin ni Gia. Until she asked me to go down para sumayaw sa dance floor.

I stood up and that was when my phone vibrated. Why the hell Aidon's calling me? My brows furrowed.

"You go Gia. Kausapin ko lang si Aidon. Maybe it's important."

I answered the phone when Gia leave. "Yes Aidon?"

"Hey baby, ba't ang sungit mo?" He chuckled. "Anyways, I'm just checking if it's really you. Parang nakita kasi kita sa club ngayon. You're wearing a red sexy dress. Is that really you?"

I chuckled. "No other than, Baby." I ended the call. Paniguradong hahanapin ako nun.

Dala-dala ang purse, lumabas ako ng VIP room. And I was about to walk down stairs when someone hugged me from my back that made me shocked. And who the f**k is this?

I was about to turn to the stranger and face him to scold him why the f*ck he hugged me when he nuzzled my neck.

"I've been looking for you for half an hour now at downstairs, Honey. Didn't expect that I would just only see you here upstairs."

My eyes bulge not because he lick the sensitive spot of myy neck. But because his baritone voice is so f*cking familiar.

I tried to remove his hand on my waist but he renewed it. "f**k off--" And I was cut off when another familar voice spoke from our back.

Katulad ko, bahagya ring natigilan at kusang napakalas ang nakayakap sa 'kin.

And that's when I learned that Juddah's the one hugging me when I face him. And just like me, mukha rin siyang nagulat at nalilito dahil ako ang niyakap niya.

My lips bit parted. What the hell?

"Maldrid? Juddah? Why are you... hugging her?"

Nawala ang atensyon ko sa sarili and face Marhianna. She looks confused while looking at me and Juddah.
