Smoke sesh 1

YAZ

I walk to my room grabbing our stuff and head back to the livingroom settling down in my grandfather's old lounger as I start to roll Mari and Cat can't roll for sh*t, that point has been proven many times. I roll a blunt and light it as the other starts getting passed around.

The smart mouth speaks " I'm Davin by the way"

"Luke"

"Mike"

I look up at them "I'm Yazmine"

"Marisole"

"Cathleen"

"So old man Monroe is your grandfather?"

I nod "yeah I am helping him out with the general store this summer"

" So where you girls from?"

I raise an eyebrow " You are sort of nosey aren't you?"

he chuckles and I grab the pass from Mari who has settled on the other side of the loveseat from the Mike guy. " I'm not nosey just like to know who we are sharing our smoke with"

" Um the girl who's house you broke in and her friends"

" again didn't break in the door is always unlocked"

I turn to the guy Luke who is on the other side of the couch of Cat " So this isn't your first time breaking in?"

Davin huffs a chuckles " You're stubborn aren't you"

I raise an eyebrow at him " I'm secure big man can you say the same?"

" I mean better than a teenager are you even age to be smoking?"

" I am 18 thank you very much"

He huffs again choking as he lets out a drag and I smirk holding back a laugh " So Mr. Monroe gave you this as a highschool graduation gift?"

"College actually"

They all look at me as I pass again "You graduated college at 18?"

Mari laughs " Yeah Yaz is somewhat of a child genius"

"What about you two?"

Cat laughs "yeah no we are not as smart as her, she was our tutor for calculus last year we are both soon to be Juniors at BCU."

"So you are all from Colorado?"

"Nah just me Im from here obviously. Mari is from Texas and Cat is from Montana, what about you guys?"

He grins like he won in his attempts to pry " we are all from here across the river, but we spent the last few years in California at UCLA."

"Oh so you guys are from that Bend town?" I look at Mari like she is an idi*ot I know she isn't from around here but you dont ask towns especially if they say the country club community. I realize she doesnt know quickly and fix my face

" Yeah just outside there actually." he looks to me " what town are you from Yaz?"

I stare at him dead pan seriously " we may be sharing smoke but don't call me Yaz I don't know you, to answer your question though I was raised in Springer." thats the human town on this side of the river sounds believable.

He sighs sitting back and I get up " I'm thirsty anyone want drinks?"

"ohhh did you bring those water things you make?"

"Obviously Mari"

"Water things?"

" um yeah I make my own electrolite drinks less sugar more hydration" I name off the flavors and they all ask for certain ones I go grab us all waters and make the drinks. We talk about more non pressing stuff as the night goes on I turn on music and we all just chill out together. Luke and Mike swapped spots at some point when I was making us waters and Davin has been staring at me almost the entire night he has tried to be sly about it but he isn't.

Don't get me wrong he is not bad looking he has a linebacker build when he stood up you could tell he is very athletic he has dark brown hair that he keeps wafted to the side a very slick lick me jaw line with bright blue eyes and the perfectly shaped nose to go with it. but he is in all forms of the word Cocky as f*ck he knows he has the looks and you can tell he is one of those that use it to their advantage.

" So do you ladies want the rest?"

I look at him " I mean sure but are you heading out?"

"Yeah my dad will have a fit if we are out too late we have to work on the docks tomorrow"

"Oh your with the construction crews?"

"Yeah, so do you want the rest?"

Mari speaks up " Well you guys can come back afterwards and smoke with us, I mean if y'all want to"

I look at her like she has lost her everloving mind did she just invite them back? I mean it was fun and all but really? Mike clears his throat" Yeah that would be cool"

" Yaz that's cool right?"

i look at Cat and nod " Yeah of course I mean life is too short not to share our Prosperity right?"

Davin chuckles "Yup your definently a Monroe"

I look at him confused "and that means what exactly?"

" Nothing bad just what your grandfather use to tell us when we were kids"

"Same heard it my entire life from him and my Garndmother"

He nods "Sorry for your loss"

I shrug "She is in a better place she was really sick for a while so I am just glad she isn't suffering anymore"

He nods "I get that so I guess we will see you ladies tomorrow"

we nod "Davin hand me your phone"

He raises an eyebrow smirking "why?"

"Because I have work tomorrow and we planned on going to the shore to tan you guys can text when you are on the way so Mari doesn't let out that awful squeel again"

He chuckles passing his phone across the table and I put my number in then they head out the nice thing is they cleaned up their water bottles and rinsed them out before they left leaving them in the sink to dry. The girls stay up a little longer as I head upstairs to my room going to bed so I am ready for my first day at the store tomorrow
