"Don't sleep." Casey said urgently from the front seat, but pointlessly her car was rattling away on the forest causing flashes of pain through my multiple wounds with every bump we hit. I winced as I wrapped my hand tightly around my neck, trying pointlessly to keep my blood inside me as my heart pumped it out in hot sticky waves. The blood continued to escape from the gashes across my chest. I didn't have enough hands to try and keep my blood inside me. At the same time a hot burning sensation was flooding through me. "You need to stay awake Baby." Casey said, watching me in the mirror more than she was watching the road in front of her. I gritted my teeth as we hit a pot hole.
