The hour passed surprisingly quickly for Kaira. Having something to focus on certainly helped, and towards the end of the time she half wondered whether that was the reason Tarkus had given her the g*n. Then she shook her head. She was pretty sure it would be more than that. She still wasn’t particularly keen on the idea of carrying the g*n, but it was hard to argue with Tarkus’s logic.
