Match made in heaven

Adam could not contain his happiness, he looked around the airport, this is the 5th time he is doing this. He cannot believe he is back to his country after seven years of studying at abroad. He loves his country and he is glad to be back once again. He saw two hands waving at him, motioning him to come. They are his parents. His mom and dad. Without another sign from them, he ran to them , hugging them tightly as if they are going to vanish like they did seven years ago, living him to go to America. He was 18years back then. He has left for America to pursue his dream ,he is back to his country as a full time doctor. "Welcome back home my son"Mr. Aidoo greeted . "My baby is a man now, welcome back my son. I missed you so much" Sandra added. "I missed you too Mama, I can't believe am back to Ghana. Kotoka International airport has changed a lot. It looks more beautiful than the last seven years". Adam comment looking around the airport again. "You are right about that. Our country is changing everyday, very soon we won't have to go overseas like you did. Anyways I am proud of you my doctor". Mr. Aidoo said. "Are you going to talk about this country all day or we are going home" Mum announced. "Mum we have just started. But am hungry. I hope my favorite food is ready on the dining table waiting for me."Adam said. "Adam, you can always count on me, when it comes to food" Sandra said feeling proud. "I know mum, you are the best cook". Adam compliment. And they burst into a laughter. (At Mr. Aidoo's mansion) Adam swallowed the food as this is his first time of eating. Sandra and her husband stopped with their own food and stare at how their son is swallowing the Fufu( An African food made with cassava) and groundnut soup( A soup made with groundnut. "Bring back my son!" Sandra exclaimed. Adam is known as someone who is observant when it comes to table manners. Adam look up when he heard his mom's exclamation. "Mom, what" Adam asked with his mouth full of meat. "Son, the food is not going anywhere, be a little patient" Mr.Aidoo answered. "But dad , it been seven years since am eating Fufu again, What else will you expect from me'. Adam said a little embarrassed. Mr. Aidoo is one of the biggest business man in the country. He owns Rock Intl company, which is third biggest company in the country. No doubt he is so rich. He had sent his son to America to study for his dreams. Sandra is in the kitchen cooking. Mr. Aidoo and Adam are sitting in the living room. Mr. Aidoo begins to ask his son about how his studies go whilst he was in America. "Dad, I want to thank you and mom for your prayers for me. Am glad am back in the country as a doctor now" Adam said. "Welcome home one more time my son. I cannot tell you how much proud you have made this old man here. Being the only son you didn't disappoint us. Thank you so much my dear. Am very glad.". Mr. Aidoo said with emotions. Adam tried to talk, but Mr. Aidoo silence him"son let me finish. I have been preparing this thing for you since the day you left for America. I know you are going to make me proud, so I have to gift you. It my own little secret, even your mom is not aware of it.". He stopped and handed him a bunch of keys and continues with his speech" This is the keys to a clinic I have been constructing for you. Am glad to tell you that, it is now ready to open and you can start working now." Mr. Aidoo completed his speech with tears in his eyes. Adam is still starring at the keys in his hands. He was speechless. Sandra is done with her work in the kitchen, so she heard everything her husband said. "Dad ,may God bless you. Dad thank you so much! I don't know what to say dad."Adam said when he finally found his speech. He was crying. "U don't have to say anything. Your expression is good enough for me, am glad you like my gift." Mr. Aidoo said while hugging his son. "Thank you so much my husband. This is too much gift for our son. Am glad you did that. But for keeping such a big secret from me , you will be punished." Sandra said joining the hug. "Son advise your mother for me " Mr. Aidoo said and they all burst out laughing. Home they says is sweet.
