Chapter 5

"You failed!!!" Elina shouted holding out her hand as her aura surrounded Belcwin and squeezed him. "I.....hav....e'nt" he struggled to say and she looked at him curious before putting down her hand and the aura disappeared leaving him gasping for air. "Explain how you haven't failed" she said and he stood upright. "When he had absorbed the sword into his body he wasn't only storing it but draining its aura structure as well" he told her and she raised her eyebrow."Oh really?" she said holding out her hand which started draining gold keys' from Edwin who was standing in the middle of the room from when he was brought in through the portal. The gold aura that first turned into a ball in her hand after she finished draining it from Edwin then transformed itself into the symbol from the sword. "Interesting, looks like this will keep you alive for now" she told Belcwin who sighed a breath of relief. "It seems these keys also allow us to identify the location of one of the other worlds where another one is located" she said holding out her other hand as a crack with chains appeared in the room."What is that?" Belcwin asked looking at it intrigued. "This is a world gate I was able to create some ages ago to allow me to travel through worlds before I was defeated but it seems the guardian has locked it from me" she said clenching her fist but the chains only shook and did not come off. She then waved her hand which made the symbol go onto the locks but it just remained there. "I also wanted to use the keys' power to unlock it so as to not use any more of my aura but the power you collected isn't enough" she said pouring her aura into the symbol which started covering the chains until they broke and the crack opened wider."Now thanks to your half achievement I have wasted more of it"she said and he looked at her with a bit of sweat running down his head. " Well at least we got...." he was interrupted by Elina clenching her fist as her aura made him explode from the inside and she was protected from his remains that scattered around the room by an invisible barrier of her own. "Unfortunately I still need him" she sighed as she waved her hand and her aura reconstructed him. When it finished he was panting heavily and quickly examined himself. "You're lucky I still need you but next time you fail me like this again, I won't put you back together and trust me the next time will be more painful" she warned him with her eyes glowing and he nodded. "Now hurry and get him ready to retrieve the next one".......

Rose stood in the land of black flames and stared at a woman's figure behind a black glass holding something in her hands. The glass shattered revealing the woman who was her with black eyes but had red blood tears trickling down from them with blood splattered all over her body and she held the heads of both Aisha and Eve. Rose woke up and looked around frantically finding herself back in the guardian's room with him talking to Eve and the others."Good you're finally awake" Arthur said noticing her. "Are you ok?" Eve asked as she and Aisha went to check on her. "Ya I'm fine" she replied standing up. "How did I turn back?"

"I absorbed the aura that you gave to Aisha into one of my arrows and shot it into you to see if it would help you regain control"he told her."Looks like it worked" Rose said rubbing her head."Why didn't you tell us that it's getting stronger?" Aisha asked Rose making her freeze before looking at her. "How do you know about that?"

"Cause I told them" the guardian replied sitting in his chair."It isn't nice to keep these kinda secrets you know especially to the ones around you" he told her sternly."That arrow idea was a good one Arthur but I'm afraid it won't work anymore as it will evolve further the next time she transforms making it harder to take effect"

"Did.....it gain anything else?"

"It only got it's full set of horns for now"

"I'll try better to not awaken it"

"You better, my advice is, for now, you should stay away from powerful beings that may be too hard for you to handle and can push you to the point of awakening it"

"But what if...."" Don't worry that's why I sent him, in the case you had lost control in the tournament he was going to help with your battles from now" the guardian interrupted Rose and they all looked at Arthur."You've seen his capabilities"

"Ya, you're right but promise me you'll protect these two more than me if things get too dangerous" she said and he nodded."You have my word"

"Good" she said looking at the guardian."What happened with the sword we were supposed to get anyway?"

"Ohhh you mean this thing?" the guardian asked putting out his hand as the sword appeared. "What the hell, you could've done that from the start you old bastard instead of putting us through that s**t" Aisha said angrily. "I can't really interfere in your journey but I made an exception just this once" he told her putting his hand over the symbol which flew off and went into the book Rose had been given that had floated up and opened."I cannot continue helping you acquire these cause if I do there will be disastrous consequences for my actions" he warned them as another copy of the symbol appeared on the sword as it disappeared and all of them except Arthur started wondering what he meant. Suddenly the room started shaking very violently and stopped after a while. "What was that?" Eve asked the guardian who was closing his eyes. "Looks like Elina has found a way to replicate the symbol which she has used to reopen her world gate and find the location of the next symbol" he told them opening his eyes. "Which means we better go after her and find it before she does" Rose said and he nodded. "I've heard of these other worlds in legends but I can't believe we're going to go to one" Aisha said excited. "Everyone should just be in contact with Rose as she opens the page where the symbol is and pours her aura into it" the guardian told them and they touched Rose as she opened the book and saw the symbol. She looked at the guardian who looked at her seriously and she nodded at him before her eyes started glowing with aura emitting out of her hand into the book that made them disappear leaving the guardian who just smiled and sat down on his chair.......

"Where are we?" Aisha asked everyone as they found themselves standing in a clear field with red grass. "No clue" Rose said looking around with them before looking into the book which showed her a drawing of a dragon with a symbol in it's chest. "What the hell does this mean?"she asked herself before they heard a loud roar that startled them. "I don't like the sound of that" Eve said as they all looked around each other whilst on guard. They heard the roar again and looked up to see a red dragon flying fast towards them. "Is that a f*****g dragon!!?" Rose asked as it opened its mouth which burst fire towards them but Eve protected them using a barrier. Arthur fired his arrows at it but they had no effect as they bounced off the dragon's hard skin. "Looks like I'm going to have to put more power into them" Arthur said with Eve rushing in front of him to protect him from another fire blast. "Alright time to shut this fucker up" Rose said with her eyes glowing before she jumped high into the air and onto the dragon that started flying around trying to shake her off. "Oh no you don't" she said holding on with her hands going deeper into the dragons skin agitating it even further. "Any time now!!" Rose shouted to Arthur whose eyes were glowing as he shot dozens of arrows covered in a bit more aura which pierced through one of the dragon's wings making it roar in pain as it landed.Rose was about to punch its head onto the ground but then its body started glowing. "s**t" she said as a wave of fire burst out of its body burning most of the field but Rose who was pushed away by the wave had covered herself in her aura to protect herself whilst Eve covered the others in a barrier. "That's enough" they heard someome say and looked up to see a blue dragon landing next to the red one. "But I can sense the power of the dark inside her" the red dragon said focusing on Rose who looked at it annoyed. "We've received word from the guardian, she and her friends are of no threat to us so stand down" the blue dragon told him and he growled before fire appeared and healed the wounds on his wing and he flew away. "Climb on, the king is eagerly waiting your arrival"........

" Wow" Aisha said as she looked down onto the ground from the back of the blue dragon they were riding on as it flew. After a while they saw a giant city that had multiple dragon's flying in it with draganoid people that wore different dragon scaled clothing moving around the streets. "They really don't like me" Rose said as they flew past some dragons that looked at Rose agitated. "Our noses are highly effective in smelling auras and the dark one in yours is provoking us" the blue dragon told her as they flew towards a big castle that had a dragon statue on top of it. Part of the castle opened up allowing them to fly in and land in a room that had several draganoid people wearing scaled armour moving around it. Rose climbed off the blue dragon with the others and they looked around the room. The blue dragon was then surrounded in blue fire and when it was gone it was now a blue draganoid woman who wore a blue scaled robe. "Follow me" she told them walking towards a big door but as they walked Rose noticed that some of the other draganoids looked at her with their eyes glowing. They walked until they entered a room where a white dragon that was bigger than every dragon they had seen slept in its centre. "My king" the blue draganoid said and the white dragon slowly opened one of it's eyes and looked at them. "Looks like you've finally made it" he said stretching which made Rose and the others move back to prevent being hit. "You knew we were coming?" Rose asked the white dragon who looked at her. "Yes the guardian informed us moments ago" the white dragon replied smelling her. "And he was right, that power inside you smells utterly dreadful, you're lucky Razze here stopped your earlier battle before it escalated" he said and he looked at Razze. "Where did he go anyway?" the white dragon asked her. "After I stopped them he just flew off" Razze replied and the white dragon sighed. "He will be back" the white dragon said putting his focus back on Rose and the others."The dragon that fought you has a rough history with dark power so please mind how he acted" the dragon told them. "It's ok, I get it" Rose said with white dragon standing up. "Now for the matter at hand" the white dragon said as they all noticed the glowing symbol inside its chest. "By just focusing your aura into it you'll be able to move it into that book of yours" he instructed Rose who took the red book out of her bag. As she closed her eyes an armoured draganoid came running into the room. "There's a world gate opening in the sky!!" she urgently told them and they all looked at her. "This may have to wait" the white dragon said as he and Razze ran out following the guard. "It must be Elina" Arthur said and they looked at him. "Then we gotta go see if we can help somehow" Rose said about to go but Arthur stopped her. "I think it's best you stay here" he told her. "What the hell are you talking about, I can't..."" Don't forget, if this is actually Elina's doing then whatever she's gonna make us face up against might be strong enough to force you to awaken it again" he interrupted her. "His right" Eve agreed and Rose looked at her. "Don't worry whatever it is I'm sure we can handle it" Eve reassured her. "And beside I'm of no use in battle anyway so I might as well keep you company" Aisha said feeling a bit sad from what she said and Rose sighed. "Fine" she reluctantly said and both Arthur and Eve ran out of the room."I hope they'll be...." she was interrupted by an armoured draganoid flying into a wall. They turned around to see two armoured draganoid people that were looking at them angrily with their eyes dark purple. "Guess I'm not gonna be doing nothing after all" Rose said cracking her knuckles with her eyes glowing.......

"Wow" Eve said as she and Arthur joined the white dragon and Razze outside as they looked at a giant crack in the sky and below it was Edwin with a orb of purple aura hovering infront of him as it emitted waves that spread across the city. "His corrupting our people" Razze said looking at the city where dragons and draganoid people fought against each other with aura flowing out of them and into the orb."And it looks like the longer they fight the more power that orb drains from them"Arthur said looking at the orb. "How aren't you guys affected?" Eve asked the white dragon and Razze."It seems it doesn't affect those with high levels of power" Razze replied. "If we destroy that orb it might stop the effect" Arthur said pointing at it but then Edwin looked at them and the dragons fighting stopped before rushing towards them." Looks like his noticed us" Eve said with her eyes glowing. "You guys handle taking out that orb whilst I handle the people" the white dragon said flying up as its eyes started glowing and multiple balls of white aura surrounded it. The balls of white aura shot the dragons and draganoids making them fall unconscious and stopping their power from being drained by the orb. Edwin left the orb and flew towards the white dragon but was then blasted by fire. "Blaze" Razze said watching as the red dragon continued blasting Edwin who created a shield using his skin."I'm gonna stay with him, you guys handle Edwin" Eve told Arthur and Razze as she created barriers that protected the white dragon from the other dragons' attacks. Razze flew up with Arthur who started firing arrows at the orb but Edwin flew up and deflected them all. Edwin then looked up as if he were listening to someone and nodded before touching the orb that started draining the dragons' aura's faster turning them quickly into empty husks. "No!!!!" the white dragon roared as its whole body glowed white before sending a huge wave of white aura across the city that stopped the orb from draining the dragons' aura's and also took them out of its control. The white dragon then staggered a bit before dropping to the ground. "He used up most of his aura to stop it" Razze said watching Eve check on him. "But the battle isn't done yet" Arthur said watching Edwin hold the orb in his hands. "Die!!!!" Blaze roared blasting a huge amount of fire towards Edwin. "Let's make sure he does"Arthur said firing off arrows with large amounts of aura whilst Razze also blasted a huge amount of blue fire but Edwin then crushed the orb making a blinding light that created a huge wave which blew away their attacks and pushed Razze and Blaze back a bit." This may have just gotten harder" Arthur said watching as the light went away......

"We're sorry for attacking you" some armoured draganoids said bowing to both Aisha, who had parts of her clothing damaged ,and Rose, who panted whilst having minor injuries and most of her clothing damaged as they stood in the room they had landed in with Razze when they had arrived but it was now destroyed with some unconscious draganoids lying on the ground. "I'm glad whatever was controlling you guys stopped but why does it look like you're ready for round two?" Rose asked them as they looked at her with their eyes glowing. "Sorry but your dark aura is still affecting us" one of them told her and she nodded whilst standing up straight."Of course it is" she sighed. "I guess Eve and the others must've won" Aisha said but then they heard something crash above them. "I'm going to go check it out, you guys help her if anything goes wrong" Rose told the draganoids who nodded before her eyes started glowing and she jumped through the hole above the room created from their earlier fight. When the dust settled in the room she had jumped into she saw the red dragon badly wounded. "Hey are you ok!?" Rose asked going to him. He growled at her before trying to get back up but he couldn't. "I'm trying to help you" Rose told the dragon who looked at her. "Nothing good comes from people with dark aura in them" he said trying to get up again. "Well f**k you then" Rose said annoyed before running to the hole that had been made in the wall to look outside. "How the hell did he get that strong?"" Rose asked herself looking into the sky as she saw a dark purple scaled armoured Edwin with dragon wings fighting Razze and Arthur. Arthur shot his arrows with as much aura as he could put in them but they had no effect as they just bounced off Edwin who then blew dark purple fire at them but Razze countered with her blue fire."How about this you fucker" Arthur said as Razze blew fire onto his arrow and he poured the last amount of aura he was left with into it whilst his glowing eyes flickered before they stopped glowing and fired it at Edwin who held it as it pushed him back before exploding." No"Arthur said shocked to see Edwin emerge from the explosion unscathed whilst covered in dark purple flames. Edwin then closed his hands and slowly opened them as a fire ball formed inside of them and he threw it to Razze and Arthur with Razze trying to push it back with her flames but couldn't resulting in it exploding on them. Rose watched as they plummeted and crashed onto the ground fast before flying down next to them whilst covered in her aura. "You guys ok?" she asked as Razze revealed she was holding Arthur who she had protected from the fall. Edwin flew towards the white dragon but Eve formed a barrier that she used to try to push Edwin back but Edwin was too strong for her as it shattered and he landed in front of them. "I'm sorry Edwin but I can't let you get close to him" Eve said creating barriers around herself that turned into armour before she flew up to Edwin and started attacking him. "I've gotta go help her" Rose said about to go but Arthur held her hand. "His too powerful and if you transform again who knows if you're going to come hack" he warned her making her hesitate but then Edwin held Eve by the throat and punched a hole through her stomach breaking her barrier armour before throwing her away."Noooo!!!!" Rose screamed pulling her hand away from Arthur as her eyes started glowing whilst emitting red aura. She flew up to Edwin and punched him hard but he did not move as it only formed a little crater around them. She continued punching harder and harder with her knuckles getting bloodier as her aura could not penetrate Edwin's armour. Edwin after a while then punched her hard into the ground and started continuously beating her as he drove her deeper and deeper into the ground until blood was left splattered all over his armour and Rose could bearly move. He then left her and walked towards the white dragon who blew white flames at him dragging him back a bit but he continued moving forward slowly until he jumped up and punched the white dragon's head down onto the ground. Edwin flipped it over and thrust his hand into its chest making the white dragon roar in pain as it tried to stop him but couldn't. He pulled the symbol out and looked at it with it glowing in his hand before his armour absorbed it. Suddenly he was punched hard making him go through the castle before he stopped himself using his wings and looked up to see Rose who stood as her injuries started healing themselves whilst her clothing repaired itself but was still covered in her blood which turned black with the helmet appearing on her including two black light armoured demonic looking gauntlets that had sharp fingers and she looked at him with black aura emitting out of her eyes.........
