Chapter 7

Four days later..........

"I can't believe how weak all these kingdoms have gotten over the years " Elina said watching from a mirror surrounded by her aura several destroyed kingdoms that had smoke coming out of them whilst undead moved around in them. Belcwin entered the room with Edwin slowly following him with a glowing floating dark purple key with multiple symbols turning around it in his hands. "Oh I was actually about to come kill you for taking too long but it looks like you've finally finished" she told him and Belcwin was about to chuckle thinking she was joking but when he saw the look she gave him he knew she wasn't. "This should be able to force a new world gate to open" he told her and she waved her hand making the key float towards her and examined it. "For your life's sake you better hope it does" she warned him making him sweat a little before she waved the key away making it thrust itself to the middle of the room before it stopped and acted like it was unlocking a door. Suddenly a burst of aura blew out from the middle of the room pushing Edwin who protected Belcwin from the burst whilst Elina was protected by a barrier that formed around her. The key had disappeared and in its place was a round portal surrounded in dark purple aura with symbols moving around it. "It worked" Belcwin said excited as he looked at Elina who looked at the portal. "Good, now its time to get the third key" she told him and with Edwin starting to move towards the portal. "Wait" Belcwin said making him stop and Elina looked at him."What is it?" she asked him annoyed. "I want him to go with the warriors we collected from the other kingdoms, just to see how they do out there with the modifications I gave them" Belcwin said to Elina who looked at him for a while. "Do whatever you want, all I want is the key" she told him and he nodded before portaling out of the room........

"I can't believe she's opened another world gate so soon" Rose said as she and the guardian rode on Blaze towards another city that appeared in a distance. "Huh, you know, I didn't believe you when you told us there was another dragon city" Rose told Blaze who grunted. "I can't believe you thought we only had one" he told her making her frown. "This world gate is much stronger than the last one so I'm afraid there's nothing I can do about it" the guardian told them as he panted whilst holding his head in pain. "Are you ok?" Rose asked him and he nodded. "With my power this weak any disturbance transforms into pain for me but I'll be fine" he told her with Blaze landing in a Colosseum that was in the centre of the city. "I hope the other's training went well" Rose said getting off Blaze with the guardian before he transformed back into his draganoid form. "Rose!!!" they heard someone shout and looked behind themselves to see Aisha, who now had a few scars on her face and was more muscular with a her sword having a dragon scaled handle whilst sheathed by her side as she wore new red and silver light armoured clothing, walking towards them. "Wow Aisha you look, different" Rose said as they hugged when she reached them. "Ya when they said serious hard training they weren't kidding" Aisha said breaking away from the hug. "Looks like whatever kind of training you did wasn't as physical as mine, you still look the same" Aisha said examining her but noticed something. "Wait, I get that your training helped you heal your burns but how did you repair your clothing that well? " Aisha asked her confused. "Don't tell me....." she was interrupted by a shadow flying over them and they looked up to see Eve floating in a blue orb wearing new blue and white light armoured clothing . "Looks like I didn't have to catch you this time" Rose said smiling as they watched her land in front of them and the orb disappeared. "Very funny" Eve said hugging both of them. "The results of your training really shows on you Aisha" Eve said examining Aisha impressed. "Thanks but am I really the only one who seems to have changed physically?" Aisha asked them. "I guess so" they heard someone reply and saw Arthur who was now wearing green light armoured clothing with a hood he was wearing that covered part of his face as he walked towards them with the king. "That's odd, no bow this time?" Rose asked him and he smiled. "Something like that"he replied confusing them all until the guardian cleared his throat to get their attention. "Sorry to cut this reunion short but we have pressing matters to attend to" he told them looking at the king who touched and slowly removed his hand from his chest which began to emit white aura that turned into a dimmer version of a symbol. "Some reminents of the key stayed inside me when it's original form was forced out" he told them waving it away to float in front of Rose. Rose took out the book from her bag and opened it before the symbol went into it. "Luckily what Elina doesn't know is that it seems the portal she has opened has a time dilation" the guardian said with his eyes glowing a bit. "Meaning the portal makes them arrive to the world slower" Arthur said and the guardian nodded. "Precisely, and it seems my power is finally coming to me again" the guardian said closing his eyes. "Why wasn't it coming to you before?" Aisha asked him and he opened his eyes and looked at her. "Like I said there are consequences for me helping you on your journey, but we're lucky it wasn't as harsh this time" he said and looked at Rose. "That time dilation doesn't mean they still aren't going to get there" he told her and she nodded as the others touched Rose except for Blaze and the king. "You're not coming with us?" Rose asked the guardian who stayed next to Blaze and he shook his head. "My power will weaken again if I continue helping you so I'll just be a burden" he told them."You're going to have to put more aura to travel this time since the symbol is just an inferior version but I must warn you since my power is just returning I don't know which world you're going to and can't communicate with it in advance for your arrival"

"Let's just hope we don't go to a bad one" Rose said with her eyes glowing as she poured her aura into the book that was still open but nothing happened. "Come on" she said with her eyes glowing brighter with more aura being poured into the book which began to shake violently before they disappeared. "So you're gonna be here for a while?"Blaze asked the guardian who shook his head. " My spatial room must have reconstructed itself by now so I'm going to regain my strength in there" he said with his eyes glowing brighter and a white portal opened infront of them. "Is it possible that they can also save Razze?" Blaze asked him as he walked to the portal. "That I cannot tell but I believe they'll try their best to" he told him disappearing into the portal before it disappeared. "Believe in them" the king told Blaze who looked at him. "I'll try".......

Rose and the others appeared in the sky and began to fall to the ground. "s**t" Rose said with her eyes about to glow but then they landed on a blue barrier that formed to catch them mid air. "I got you" Eve said with her eyes glowing as she made the barrier land safely in the forest that was below them and disappeared. "Thanks" Rose said panting before looking around to notice that the sky was red with a red moon and there was dry blood on several trees. Arthur suddenly moved in front of her and raised his hand which an armoured looking crossbow made of green aura appeared on and shot several aura bolts into the forest. They heard something snarl in pain a few seconds later. "What did you shoot at?" Eve asked him as they ran to where the snarl had come from to see a light armoured man with red eyes and sharp fangs struggling to remove an aura bolt that pinned him to tree whilst the other aura bolts where in the heads of bodies on the ground. "Vampires!?" Aisha said surprised looking at the bodies as the man looked at them and hissed before his body turned into black aura and it disappeared into the forest. "I felt killing intent aimed towards us by them" Arthur told them as the bolts disappeared."I thought I would leave one alive to ask questions but I didn't know he could do that"

"It's ok but I see now why you don't need the bow anymore" Rose said looking at his hand crossbow which he lifted up. "I learned my power could do more than I was allowing it to" he told her as it disappeared."How is it he could use dark power?" Eve asked them."I don't know but I'm pretty sure his gone to call more of his friends so we better start moving" she said looking around before moving into the forest with the others following her.....

"You're saying you met humans and you let them get away?" a woman, with red long hair and red eyes, asked the man who was kneeling on one knee as she was sitting in a bath made of blood and held a golden chalice with blood in it in her hand. "One of them was able to sense us before we had a chance to attack and took the others out but I managed to escape" he told her sweating as he watched her leave the chalice and stand before walking out of the pool with two female vampires appearing out of black aura and put a robe on her before bowing and disappearing. "You think that's an excuse?" she asked him smiling as she held his head and felt him shivering. "N....no but I'll find them" he told her but she held him up using his head and looked into his eyes. "It's too late" she said waving his body hard which crashed into a wall but she remained with his head. "Alora" she said looking at the head as black aura appeared in front if her and disappeared leaving in its place a woman ,with black short hair and a mask that covered part of her face who was wearing black light armoured clothing, kneeling on one knee with her face facing the ground. "Go find want this imbecile and his friends lost" she told her and she nodded before disappearing in black aura. "Clean this up his messing my floor" she said walking out and throwing the head which was caught by one of the female vampires as they had appeared in the room........

"So vampire's rule this world?" Aisha asked as they continued moving in the forest. "Probably" Rose replied her as they stopped. "Its gonna be hard to get the symbol if they're all gonna be that hostile towards us" Eve told them but Arthur shook his head. "That can't be the case" Arthur said making them all look at him. "In my people's records when the vampire's fought alongside us against Elina they weren't hostile towards humans"

"So why did those ones want to attack us?" Aisha asked him but suddenly a group of vampires with black eyes and darker skin with horns on their heads jumped out of trees and surrounded them. "Great" Rose said sarcastically as they were about to get ready to fight but one of the vampire's walked forward. "We don't mean any harm" he told them and they looked at him. "I'm Tyral and......" he stopped as he saw black aura appearing around them making the trees disappear within it. "Oh no" he said as he and the other dark vampires looked around concerned."What's going on? " Rose asked looking at the black aura but then a female vampire appeared from it and grabbed two of the dark vampires' before disappearing with them into the black aura. They heard screams of pain ringing around them before it went quite again. "We have to go" Tyral said but then the woman appeared again behind the other two dark vampires and put her hands into their eyes before ripping off their heads." You're not going anywhere " she said rushing up to Tyral

but Rose appeared in front of her with her eyes glowing. "I don't think so" she said about to punch her but she disappeared into the black aura again. "That's annoying" Rose said looking around but then the vampire appeared behind her and was about to attack but Arthur shot bolts into her arm using his hand crossbow making her hold it in pain before Eve surrounded the vampire's body in a barrier and threw her hard into the black aura in which they heard her crashing through some trees. The black aura around them disappeared and Tyral stood up quickly. "We have to go before she recovers" he told them and rushed into the forest. "Guess we're following him" Rose said shrugging before going after him and the others joined her."Who was she?" Rose asked as they caught up to him. "Alora, the queen's personal hunting dog" he replied her. "Why are other vampires attacking us, I thought you weren't hostile towards humans?" Arthur asked him as they stopped."Well things are different" he said touching and examining the ground before opening a secret entrance hidden under the grass. "Get in" he told them and they dropped in finding themselves in a tunnel that was lit by glowing stones on the walls before he looked around and got in also. He closed the entrance and led them through the tunnel." These tunnels used to be used by our great ancestors but these days they're our hiding place" he said as the stopped when they reached three paths that separated. He then whistled and two paths' lights went out leaving one lit which they went with. "Hiding place?" Aisha asked confused as they reached the end of the path and found themselves in an underground camp that was filled with other dark vampires and lit up by a giant glowing stone above it. "As you can see we're different from normal vampires as we are half demon" he told them as they walked in the camp and everyone watched them. "Tyral!!" a small demon vampire child shouted running to him and hugging him. "Hello little one" Tyral said picking the child up. "Who are they?" the child asked looking at Rose and the others. "They're friends so be nice to them" Tyral told the child who nodded. "Welcome back Tyral" a female demon vampire, with long black hair wearing black armour which had scratches on it and a sword sheathed by her side, said walking to them. "Humans" she said stopping surprised and looked at him. "My group and I saw them falling from the sky whilst we were scavenging and we met them in the forest" he told her and she looked around. "And where is the rest of your group?" she asked him and he looked at the child he was holding who looked at him. "They stayed behind to keep scavenging" he said but when the child looked away from him he shook his head at her. "I see" she said thinking before looking at Rose and the others. "Please follow me" she told them walking and they followed leaving Tyral who stayed behind. "I'm Freya, the leader of this camp" she told them as they continued waking before they reached a giant tent in which they entered and saw it had a big table with several chairs and a board that had plans on it. "We usually use this tent for battle plans" she said signalling for them to sit before she sat down. "What's going on in this world?" Arthur asked her as they sat down. "During the age we helped you humans and other worlds against Elina, our previous rulers' trusted female general Diadra, accidentally had a taste of human blood which she found made her stronger but also gave her an urge for it the more she drank" she began to tell them. "When we came back she had secretly started using the power of the symbol we had been given to safe guard to kidnap humans from your world to feed on them and get stronger but when the king discovered what she was doing it was too late as she had grown more powerful than him allowing her to kill him and seize the throne for herself"

"And other vampires just followed her without revolting?" Rose asked her and she shook her head. "Some vampires tried to revolt but those following her were powered by the blood of humans she gave them to eradicate those that didn't accept her rule" she replied with Tyral walking into the tent and sitting down. "She never was fond of us half breeds like the previous king was so she ordered that all of our kind, even if they submitted to her, were killed forcing those that were able to survive to hide" she continued. "That's horrible" Aisha said feeling sorry for them. "Why hasn't she used the power of the symbol to invade the human world since she now has an army by her side ?" Rode asked her. "Because she doesn't have the symbol anymore" Tyral told her confusing them. "Several years ago a few vampires that revolted where able to get into the castle and steal the symbol before passing it onto one of us half breeds as we went into hiding" Freya told them before looking at Tyral. "Who took out your group out there?" she asked him. "Alora" Tyral replied her and she started thinking. "Her being sent means their human supply is depleting and she's becoming desperate for more" Freya said before looking at Rose. "Why did you come to this world?" she asked her and they told her about Elina. "I can't believe she's back" Freya said taking in what she heard. "So you need the symbol to get you closer to finding her source of power and destroy it?" Tyral asked and Rose nodded. "If they take the symbol away it will be impossible for Diadra to invade the human world and get more humans to feed on" Freya said. "We'll take you to it....."" No" Rose said interrupting Freya making them all look at her. "We can't just take the symbol and leave your world like this, it doesn't feel right" she told them. "I agree"Eve said."You've helped us against Elina in the past so its only fit for us to help you with this threat"

"I'm grateful for your offer to help but if we fail to take down Diadra and she acquires the symbol your world will be......." Freya was interrupted by the ground shaking violently. "What's going on!?"........
