POWER

Chapter 12

Razze was carrying Rose on her shoulder as she followed Belcwin down to his room in the castle. "Put her there" Belcwin told Razze who placed Rose on the metal table that had more dry blood on it and became smaller to account for her size as she continued struggling."What you're doing isn't going to set you free you know" Belcwin told Rose who tried speaking to him but her words were still muffled by the aura around her mouth. "Right almost forgot" Belcwin said waving his hand and the aura left her mouth with him sitting on a chair. "Finally" Rose said putting her head down as she stretched her mouth before looking at Belcwin. "I know there's no honour amongst villains but I gotta ask why did you kill Elina?"

"Well first she blew me up after I failed once, second she continuously threatens me, third she never appreciates my work, fourth...... "

"Ok I get it, so what are you going to do now?"

"I'm going after what she was after of course, her original power source"

"Why?"

"The form you saw me transform into has a drawback that makes it unstable with the more power I use, that's why I consumed Elina, to allow me to keep it stable enough to revert to my human form but if I get that power source it will increase my power exponentially whilst fixing the issues with that form to making it completely stable"

"And what you gonna do after that?"

"Achive the thrill of experimenting on every different type of creature and person across every world and seeing if they can take on their race by themselves and if they can't and get killed I'll just get another and make them stronger until they're the last of their kind"

"Why would you do something like that!?"

"To make sure my experiments on them are a success of course"

"I'm not going to allow you to do that"

"You'll be too busy helping me to stop me" he told her standing up and moving around the room. "Whilst I work on you we'll have to wait for your friends as well"

"My friends, why?"

"Because you destroyed my world gate along with the symbols in it preventing me from being able to create another one but if your friends are gonna come after you, which they will of course, they're gonna bring the other symbols with the them" he replied standing with two glowing orbs with dark purple aura in them in his hands over Rose's head.

"If you hurt my friends...."she stopped talking as the orbs sent dark purple into her head making her eyes turn completely dark purple but she moved around vigorously. Rose found herself in what looked to be an old battlefield with several broken weapons scattered around it.Suddenly a hand burst out of the ground beneath her startling her and it held her leg. Other hands started bursting out as well but she was able to free herself from the first hand and jumped away from the others. The bodies the hands belonged to started coming out of the ground and Rose's eyes widened. "No" she said recognizing the female knights who were wearing broken heavy armour with their eyes completely white and blood dripping down from their heads as they each held a dark purple sword. They all rushed towards her and Rose picked up a broken sword and started blocking and dodging their attacks but when she thrust her sword into one of them she saw the happy memories she had with that person flash in her head before seeing herself kill her in her demonic form. "You want to kill me again?" the female knight asked Rose with blood tears coming out of her eyes and Rose felt tears coming out of her own eyes. Another female knight attacked her and Rose pulled out the sword and dodged before slashing her but then saw the happy memories she had with that knight also before seeing herself kill her again in her demonic form. "I thought we were comrades" the female knight said and Rose walked back before dropping her sword and falling to her knees. "This isn't real" Rose said holding her head but when she looked around she saw the townsfolk now with the female knights with their eyes also completely white but their bodies were badly wounded as they also held dark purple swords." We trusted you Rose, why did you kill us?" all the townsfolk asked in sync whilst moving closer to her. "It wasn't me" Rose replied looking at the ground crying. "But you stayed with us knowing you would put us in danger" one of the townsfolk said and Rose looked at them. "It's your fault for not being strong enough and allowing it to kill us " one of the female knights said angrily. "I didn't mean for it to happen" Rose told them as they got closer and one of them thrust their sword into her which made part of her body dark purple. "We didn't deserve to die Rose" they all said in sync as they thrust their swords into her one by one which began completely turning her body dark purple. "Looks like it didn't take as long as I thought" Belcwin said looking whilst smiling at Rose's completely dark purple eyes that had tears coming out from them........

"We have to find a way to get to her, she might be in danger" Aisha said trying to stand but could not as Eve continued healing both her and Arthur ,who had been removed from the wall and was bandaged,as they lay on the ground inside the castle whilst Freya and her people moved around it. "In the condition we're in we can't and besides it's Rose, she can handle herself " Eve told her sweating before she stopped healing them and panted. "You're putting too much strain on yourself" Arthur told her sitting up straight but she shook her head. "No I'm fine" Eve said to him trying to heal them again but her eyes just dimly glowed for a bit before they stopped. "He's right, if you continue overworking your aura your life may get into danger" Freya said walking towards them. "How is everything looking so far?" Arthur asked her. "Some vampires have given up and submitted but we're locking them away until their blood drive is completely gone and those that retaliated did not last long" she replied him and sighed. "I never thought it was gonna be possible that we would defeat Diadra, thank you for helping and encouraging us to fight back, even though I gave you a hard time for which I apologize"

"Rose would've loved hearing that from you" Aisha said sitting up straight next to Arthur. "Ya and would've f*****g teased me about it as well" Freya said frowning making them all laugh." We found this on the ground" Freya said handing Eve the book Rose kept the symbols in.As soon as she touched it the book glowed before turning from red to blue surprising all of them. "Wait you can use that book also!?" Aisha asked still surprised as Eve examined the book. "I guess so" she replied shrugging. "Wait give it to Arthur" Aisha told her and Eve did as she was told and gave it to Arthur but nothing happened. "Interesting" Arthur said looking at it. "You think it can take us to Rose?" Eve asked Arthur. "It has only been taking us to places with the next symbol so I am not sure" Arthur replied giving her back the book. "Where's the guardian when you need him?" Eve asked herself opening the book where she saw words appearing on a page. "Guys" she said getting their attention and they all looked at the still appearing words until they finished." I've reconfigured the book to allow you to get to Rose who desperately needs your help but be careful for there is someone waiting to take this book when you get there " Eve read aloud and she looked at them. "The guardian must have sent this message" Arthur said thinking. "So, are we going or not? " Aisha asked looking at them. "Like I said before in the condition we're in we can't" Eve told Aisha looking at both her and Arthur's bandaged wounds. "We might be able to help with that" Freya said nodding to some of her people that walked towards them. "What do you mean?" Eve asked confused as Freya whispered to the people who nodded and formed a circle around Eve and the others with Freya amongst them. They then started pouring black aura from their hands that went into Eve and the others and started healing their wounds whilst giving them some power before they stopped. "We gave you some of our life force to help quicken the healing of your wounds and refuel some of your power" Freya told her as her people went away. "Why would you do that?" Eve asked her. "Because you helped us with all this and it's the least we could do, now go save your friend" Freya replied smiling and walked away. "You guys ready to do this?" Eve asked them as they stood up and stretched. "Before we go we mustn't forget what that note said about someone whose after the book" Arthur said looking at it. "It's best if things get bad you get out of there no matter what using the book, even if it means leaving us in the process"

"I can't do that" Eve told him shocked and Aisha touched her shoulder. "Even though I don't want to say this, his right, we can't risk Elina getting her hands on the final symbol allowing her to find her source of power" Aisha said with Eve looking at her. Eve then looked at the book for a while and held it tightly. "Ok" she reluctantly said opening the book as they both touched her shoulder. She then poured her aura into it and the book began vibrating before they vanished from the room they were in and found themselves in Belcwin's room with no one in it. "This is horrible" Aisha said looking around the bodies and skeletons on the walls and at the table. "Come on let's go find Rose" Eve said strapping the book on the waist of her clothing but then a portal opened under their feet making them fall in and land in the throne room. "Welcome" they heard someone say as they stood up and looked at the throne to see Belcwein sitting on it. "Where's Elina?" Aisha asked him and he smiled. "I took care of her" he replied making them look at each other. "Stop with the jokes where is she? " Aisha asked him making him frown." Like I said I took care of her" he replied annoyed and they looked at each other again. "You, took care of Elina?" Eve asked him still not believing his words. "Yes!!, I know I look weak but I did take care of Elina" he told them angrily. "So then what's your goal now that you have control?" Arthur asked him. "To experiment on every different creature and person across every world and make them fight their race until they're the last of their kind" he told them."All that's preventing me from doing that right now is the need for Elina's power source and the symbols"

"You're not gonna get either of them " Eve told him with her eyes glowing and he smiled. "Why don't I test my new subject on you" he said as a portal opened next to him. They looked shocked as they saw Rose walking out from the portal with her eyes completely dark purple including her hair and armour whilst she had dark purple aura surrounding her hands. "Supressing whatever uncontrollable entity inside her was a breeze since she already was chaining it herself" he told them as they still looked at Rose. "I wonder who I should make her kill first" he said looking at them. "You know you kinda look like her, are you related by any chance?"

"She's my sister you f*****g bastard" Eve said with her barrier armour surrounding her and she rushed towards him to attack him but Rose blocked her. "This is a great chance to see how strong my emotional suppression is on a live subject" Belcwin said excited."Kill her"

Rose pushed Eve back with her eyes glowing brighter and she flew with Eve through a wall. Aisha and Arthur were about to go help but Belcwin stopped them by blasting a ball of aura in front of them. "Please do not disturb, to fully see this through there mustn't be any disturbances from those not as close as the blood relative" he told them as another portal opened next to him. "You guys can play with her" he said as Razze walked out of the portal. "Razze" Aisha said before they jumped away from the blast of fire she blew at them. "I'm gonna kill this bastard" Aisha said unsheathing her sword as her armour constructed itself on her and she jumped towards Belcwin but Razze flew up and caught her before throwing her away hard. Aisha stuck her sword into the ground as she slid on the ground for a bit with her feet. "We gotta be careful our power and bodies still aren't at a hundred percent " Arthur said with his eyes glowing as he shot Razze with bolts from his hand crossbows but Razze protected herself with one of her wings. Razze then spread the wing making wind pressure that pushed both Arthur and Aisha back a bit." This isn't going to be easy" Aisha said putting her sword up whilst Arthur's eyes glowed brighter.......

"Rose stop!!!" Eve said trying to let Rose let go of her as they flew above the destroyed kingdom that had dozens of undead moving in it. Rose then threw her hard making Eve crash across the ground and some destroyed buildings. Undead started rushing towards Eve as she stood and attacked her but Eve fought with them killing them with ease until the undead looked up at Rose flying down and moved away from Eve. "Rose I know you're still in there" Eve said as Rose walked towards her clenching her fists as the dark purple aura around them increased."Please don't do this" Eve said with her eyes glowing brighter and she started blocking Rose's attacks. "Rose!!!" Eve shouted managing to punch her with compressed barriers during one of her attacks which made Rose fly through a couple of undead and into a building. Rose came out of the building and looked at Eve angrily."s**t" Eve said as Rose flew towards her and punched her hard as she blocked creating a small crater around them but then part of Eve's armour cracked. Eve struggled repairing it as Rose continued attacking her but then a part of it broke off and Rose punched the now exposed area making Eve fly away. Eve vomited out blood as she felt some of her bones broken where she was punched. She slowly stood but Rose rushed up to her and held her by the neck.Eve then held the hand holding her and tried spreading her aura onto her but she canceled it out with her dark purple aura. She threw her down and started flying whilst dragging her through the ground making her barrier armour break apart the more she was dragged as she tried stopping her. Rose proceeded to then throw Eve towards the castle and she crashed through the wall before being hit onto the ground hard by Razze who was flying.Eve coughed out blood as she looked up and saw Aisha and Arthur struggling to stand from the ground with their bodies covered in blood. Rose flew into the room and held Eve up. "I'll take that if you don't mind " Belcwin said holding up his hand as Rose took the book off Eve's waist and threw it into his hand. "You can dispose of her now" Belcwin told Rose whilst flipping through the pages of the book and Rose made a dark purple blade in her hand before thrusting it into Eve who screamed in pain as Arthur and Aisha watched in shock. As Rose watched the sword spread dark purple veins across Eve's body Belcwin noticed her lips moving. "E....E...Eve" she said with tears coming out of her eyes as they turned back to normal including her hair and armour. She kneeled down and held Eve in her arms as she looked at the dark purple veins on her body . "You.....came back a bit too late" Eve said smiling as she coughed out dark purple blood. "Looks like my emotional suppression still needs work" Belcwin said disappointed as he watched them. Rose could not speak as she watched Eve dying in her arms before her eyes completely turned black and the demonic armour appeared on her as she roared loudly with black aura surrounding the armour creating waves that pushed everything around them including Arthur and Aisha who were pinned to a wall by it but Belcwin continued sitting as the waves had little effect on him and Razze. As Rose was about to stand Eve touched her hand and spread blue aura onto her. The demonic armour disappeared and Rose turned back to normal but her eyes were now black including her hair. She looked around confused before looking at Eve who looked at her surprised for a while before smiling at her. "Tell my sister I love her" Eve told her as she turned into a pool of dark purple blood with dark purple bones in it. Rose looked at the pool of dark purple blood still confused before she was blasted with a ball of aura from Belcwin making her hit a wall. "This was fun and all but I think it's time we end this since I have test subjects waiting for me across worlds" he told them waving the book as he watched Rose looking at him angrily as she tried to stand with where she was hit coming out smoke. "On second thought there may be humans on those worlds so why don't I go prepared with subjects already" he said smiling wickedly at them. Suddenly a white portal opened and the guardian jumped out and held the book with Belcwin. "Rohesia, pour your aura into it, now!!!" the guardian shouted throwing the book into the air and Rose looked at it before pouring black aura into it making it stay in the air. Belcwin frowned as he blasted the guardian before pouring dark purple aura into the book also. The book began shaking violently as they both continued pouring their aura into it before it created a huge explosion that made a whole part of the castle disappear........

Belcwin woke up badly wounded on a black dry ground with cracks all over it and looked up at a black sky. He slowly stood up as he watched his wounds heal themselves for a while and looked around noticing that the place they were in had dozens of black volcanoes spewing black blood like lava with different types of horrific looking creatures roaming around it before noticing Razze some distance away with parts of her body and wings were missing and he walked to her. "The result of that woman and I pouring our aura into the symbols must have sent us here" Belcwin said pouring his aura into her as it healed her."But it doesn't matter" he said looking around after he finished healing Razze and raised his hand that emitted three versions of the symbols that were dark purple. "Fortunately I managed to replicate their power structures when I was pouring my aura into them which might take me a while to fully make operational since I'll be distracted with all these specimens before me " he said smiling as he looked the creatures........

Rose slowy woke up and found herself standing in nothing but just pure whiteness. "We're in the void between worlds" she heard someone say and turned around to see the guardian. "What's going on?" Rose asked looking around. "After you and Belcwin overloaded the symbols with your auras they separated all of you across different worlds" the guardian told her."I managed to bring you here so we can have little talk"

"About what exactly? , I'm not Rose remember and I know you know that since you called my real name back there"

"Since I know Rose won't be coming out any time soon, you need to find the others that need help and get the last symbol before Belcwin does or else he will find Elina's power source first"

"Why don't you just help Arthur and Aisha yourself and bring them together, I mean I know you can do it"

"Because I'm already dead" he told her as his body shimmered."After what happend with the symbols I took all the damage they would've inflicted on you when they overloaded, what you're talking to is a little bit of myself that I split apart but it won't last for long "

"You could've given either Aisha or Arthur that objective so why are you giving it to me ?"

"Because I know deep down you want to make ammends for all the terrible things you did when you took control of Rose before" he said and she knew what he was talking about. " And also I know just like them you can't standby doing nothing whilst knowing what's going, just like you did in your past life" he continued and she looked at him for a while.

"Can't I go by myself without them I mean it would be so much faster to do so"

"You know why you can't" he told her pointing to her chest and she looked at it before sighing.

"Alright, what do I gotta do?"

"I was able to use some of my power to replicate the book and symbols and also allowed it to allow you to find the worlds Arthur and Aisha were scattered to but you must be careful when you approach them " he said giving her the book that turned black as she held it.

"Why?"

"Because of how they were sent time worked differently for all of them and they may have been on the world they were sent to for a few or many years so there is a chance they could be different depending on what they had gone through on the world" he said as he started fading away and he looked at his fading hand. "I guess my time is up"

"Anything else you want to tell me before you're completely gone? "

"Good luck" he said smiling as he completely vanished leaving her alone and she looked at the book. "Damn it all" she said opening the book and pouring black aura into it before vanishing with it........
