I need trackers 27

Chapter 27 Lycan Alpha Ram I was bored; we haven’t had a good fight in years. I was already done with this stupid paperwork; things have slowed down a lot. My buildings were rented out with CEOs. I'm a CEO in the same building; I had stock and shipments going in and out. I needed to make sure that things were going well. So after I was done with the paperwork, I jumped in the shower to wash up. When I finished, I turned off the water, dried off, and got my suit out of the closet. I knew I needed more of them; I just couldn't keep wearing the same three over and over again. Once dressed, I put my hair in a ponytail, and I was ready. I jumped in my car, heading to the human town. That's when my phone started buzzing. I hated the ringtone, so I kept it on vibrate, looking at the caller ID. Damn, I haven't heard from him in years. Why is he calling me now? I did owe him a few favors after he had saved my mate from hunters, and then he saved my son from rogues. I promised him that if he ever called for help, I would assist. So, I answered the phone. “Hey old man, what's going on? Is everything okay?” “No, not really. I didn't want to call you, but you're a lycan as well. You have to swear to me that what I'm about to tell you, you will not say a word to anyone. She could be in danger all over again if you say anything.” ‘Dude, I give you my word. I will not say anything to anyone. What the hell is going on with you? Why are you making me swear not to say anything?” He had me worried. I didn't know what was going on. Was he in danger? Was his mate in danger? I knew his wife passed away when she was in labor, but I guess he found his second chance, mate. I seriously hope everything is okay with him and his mate. So, I gave him my word as a friend and an ally. “Alright, I found my second chance mate, but she's the last of her kind. Have you ever heard of Shepard Lycans? They can shift into anything they touch, any animal, or human or supernatural.” I thought for a moment. I knew when my mother was still alive that she had told me about them. I thought they were a myth; that there was never any sort of thing, but I guessed wrong. I waited for him to explain more, but he was waiting for my answer. “Yeah, man. When I was a child, my mom would tell me stories about them. So, what are you saying? Is the myth true? Are there Shepard Lycans?” “Yes, but she is the last of her kind. Hunters came into her land, killed everything, and then burnt her pack down. She had no idea how she got into the woods safely, but she’s my mate. Long story short, they shot my daughter; she survived. But they gave her a message to send her away, or they would kill my pack and family. When I went to see how my child was doing, Bayley left. She left me a letter explaining that she needed to handle it herself, to get rid of them before they came to us. I don't know how to help her; I don’t know where she is at, but she did send me a hunters knife and a letter that only said "One down," that's all it said.” “Well, man, the only thing I can think of is to send my trackers to find her. I'll tell them not to talk to her or approach her, just to make sure she is okay. But once they find her, what do you want them to do?” I could tell he was thinking. I knew this was his mate, and it was about to drive him crazy. But if this is truly a Shepard Lycan, then I know she can handle herself. The way my mom would tell me these stories, these Lycans are more of a badass than us regular Lycans. We are stronger than wolves, but they are stronger than us; I mean really strong. They could kill us three at a time. So, my mother's story was true after all. Well, let's do this. "Just let them know not to approach her or say anything to her. She is hunting right now. They don’t need to get killed. Just find out where she is, and then let me know. I will handle it from here. If she finds out that I’m having her tracked down, there is no telling what she will do. I just want to know where she is. I might head there and help her, but then she would probably kick my ass. Just make sure they are safe. I'm not sure what she is capable of. 'Alright, man, I'm heading to work, but I will give them a call and tell them to keep it hushed and on the down-low. Not to say anything to anyone.' We talked until I got to my building. Then we hung up. I made a few phone calls to my trackers. They were as shocked as I was, but they swore not to say anything. I would pay them greatly when she is found. Let's just hope she is found alive."
