Chapter 6 Darius POV

She's waiting for me to get back. She stood up, her long legs apart in a stance like she was ready to fight, and her arms crossed over her chest. Her eyes pinned me as soon as I walked in. I felt Vax in my mind start to prance and then a need to feed hits too from my vampire side. Great, I'll be doing this with a horny wolf and a thirst for blood.

Closing the door, I rested myself up against it, putting my hands in my pockets. " I'm sorry" I said quietly, my head down. " What was that ?" Her voice was calm, not hysterical to me. That meant this was worse than what I thought.

" Anya, I'm sorry, I know I ran from you again. I know I do it often. It's, well, I've been alone a long time baby and I deal with sh*t badly. I know everyone is here for me, sh*t Vax just nearly ripped Dante's arm off. To try and wake me up, even he knew I was spiraling " I sighed and glanced up like a wounded puppy.

Her arms drop. " Who's Vax ?" She asks. Right, I hadn't been here and she was a human previously. " My wolf ". Humans wouldn't know wolves were different spirits to our own, but she just nods. Right she had been surfing books for weeks now with her sisters. Maybe there was something in them about wolves.

" So have you sorted your sh*t out, are you ready to apologize to your family for insulting them too ? They all love you too, Darius" she snaps, and it's like a slap to the cheek.

" Yeah I will, and yea, I think my emotions are in check now. Well, hopefully, but you have to understand how hard this is for me, Anya "I plead. She sighs and walks towards me, her hands landing on my chest.

" I do baby, that's why, after I talked myself down, I decided not to kick the sh*t out of you this time. But next time I'll beat you up " she grins up at me and I can't help but smile back. "Mate" is growled low in my mind , and my eyes widen as I feel my body heat up. The urge to f*ck takes hold of me out of nowhere, but it's like nothing I've felt before.

" Darius, why have your eyes gone funny again like this morning ?" Anya says. " MINE my turn" I hear Vax roar. I feel him pushing me down again. "Sh*t Anya, it's Vax. He wants you now, and I mean, like now, you're his mate too, and he's demanding he bonds with you also," I explained quickly.

Her eyes widen and she takes a step back. " What ?"she says, confused.

" Vax, be careful with her" I demanded, and Anya took another step back. "It's OK baby, he is me, just my counterpart, and he's been suppressed for a long time. I'm here. He is me " I try to soothe her. But I already feel him leading me forward, stalking her like she's a meal that needs to be devoured.

" My Anya" I hear myself say but it's deeper, more growly. When I reach her body, my hands come up and one slips behind her neck, pulling her mouth closer to mine. It's weird it's me, but it's also not me. My mouth slams down on hers, and she gasps against my lips.

Claws erupt from my fingers, I run one down her back. the tearing of her clothing can be heard. She pulled back, gasping, trying to see what I was doing by twisting her neck. She quickly looks back at me, her pupils blown and lips red. " Darius" she says breathlessly. I didn't respond, rather walked her to the nearest wall, picking her up and pinning her against it.

" Vax, mainly just to solidify our bond my mate, then I will leave Darius to lead in this department." It's not my voice that replies to her. I feel my own hands fiddling with my buttons, pushing my trousers down and revealing my hardness.

He doesn't mess around, her pants are ripped off, and he slams in with a force I know must have hurt her a little. " Gentle with her" I shout through my mind and I visibly feel his grip on her loosened on her thighs. " Sorry" he growls low. My hands grab her hands and pin them above her head as we thrust deep within her. He doesn't falter or tire just over and over. Her head is thrown back as he f*cks her hard and fast and without much romance , he has one thing in mind and that's to claim. " Please, please Vax, Darius, I need sh*t I need " She pants.

My head dips and latches onto a n****e, her back arches," Harder" she pants and Vax practically prances in glee at the fact she liked the ruff handling.

His actions become harder, her eyes roll to the back of her head, her thighs gripping my waist as she comes apart. He sniffs around her neck near the mark I'd made before he then moves to the other side. I feel my face turn and teeth lengthen, then he sinks in. Her head is thrown back, her mouth open in a silent O. To my surprise, he actually drinks too. " To feed the vampire" he replies, knowing my thoughts. Our bond that's always been there seems to strengthen somehow. Like the final pieces were fitting in. " She's all of ours now " Vax says as he pulls back. He seems to reside quickly, giving me full power of my limbs again .

I walked us over to the bed and lay her down gently. Looking at her body, I see finger-marked bruises on her thighs and even her wrists start to appear. Sh*t he must have hurt her, but my worry disappears when I look at her, and she has a silly half-drunken grin on her face. " Well he can come and play more often " she giggles.

" Oh yea am I no good for you now, huh ?" I asked, a brow raised and she was rolling her eyes. " No Sir, you're perfect, but he's well, he's literally an animal," she grinned cheekily. So I pounced on top of her on the bed and pinned her arms back above her head.

" You think I've never wanted to be just as rough with you baby ? I can f*ck you so hard sometimes. But I don't because you're precious, and I wouldn't want to hurt you ". I run my nose along hers and then kiss her lips. When I pull back, she searches my face. " Are you OK now? I mean are you back with us ?". I nodded my head and I literally saw her breathe a sigh of relief. " The Jinns knew something, they followed us and saw my wolf. They wouldn't tell me and ran off saying they would tell us soon. Vax knows what it is too, I think, but he was more interested in getting back here to you " I tell her.

I look at her neck. She now brands two marks, one from when I was just a vampire and now when I'm a hybrid. " I don't know why he had to mark you in a different place. You're starting to look like a victim with all the bruises and marks now ". My brow creases as the thought bothers me. Her muddy brown eyes crinkle at the sides as she laughs a little.

" I could never be. I could just zap your butt to the Antarctic baby or the deepest depths of the ocean where all the monsters lurk. Plus you didn't hear me complaining, did you ?" she bites her bottom lip.

" Come on, let's go, find the mischievous ones and get whatever it is they know out of the way. I'm getting fed up with surprises now " I huff , I'd love to just curl up with her, especially with how f*cked out she looks. She nods her head and I climb off of her. Before I'd even reached the end of the bed, we were both dressed. " Will you ever get dressed like a normal human again?" I asked over my shoulder, smiling. She dresses like this all the time now.

" Why when I can magic up all these pretty outfits ?" She shrugs. I look at her skin-tight jeans and low-cut black top, then my outfit in all black . "Me and the girls have to go visit the covens later, they've been having some issues apparently " she checks her reflection in the mirror and grins.

" What problems ?" I opened the door for her, and we headed out into the living room. Hailey is laid on the sofa asleep, so we sneak around her into the dining room. Her belly was starting to show, and she was tired alot and feeling sick. Cole wouldn't be far off. He watches her like a hawk. When we went into the dining room, there was no one there . " I'll magic us downstairs, we don't know yet, they just requested our presence " she placed her hands on my chest. The familiar feeling of jelo in my legs occurs, and we appear in the dining hall downstairs. Where everyone is, including Cole with a plate full of food, all the healthy stuff, I'm guessing for Hailey. I'm proven right when he zips back out of the room.

Everyone is eyeing me warily, not the men, just mainly the girls as we head over. I get it and deserve it. People now think they can't be normal around me. " I want to apologize for my behavior, there's been alot of changes, and it wasn't fair to take it out on you guys." There's a round it's OKs and we understand's from everyone. Looking round the room for Fero and Tiron, they weren't there. " Anyone seen the Jinns?" I asked, and like the little sh*ts they are, they appeared smack bang in front of me with grins on their faces.

" Come on, what is it that you know?" I say no nonsense, crossing my hands over my chest. They both just laughed at me, but it was Fero that spoke. " Well, we recognized the name Vax, there's stories and legends surrounding him." My eyebrows creased. Everyone's looking our way with interest. " OK what legends ?" . Tiron this time. " Has anyone heard the myths of Fafnir, the Norse legendary wolf son of the god Loki and the moon goddess ?" .

" You mean that giant wolf ? " Kristophe says and they both nod. "Yes, there are some stories in some myth and legend books that he had a secret son other than the two we know about: the one that chased the moon, the other that chased the sun. This son roamed the earth. He had the ability to shrink his size, he was silver-haired and majestic. The powers he was born with were the same powers as the moon goddess, which is pretty much any f*cking power you wanted. They had to hide him away. People, gods and magical creatures learned of how powerful he was and hunted him, so the moon goddess took him to her realm to watch after him and protect him. No one has seen or heard from him. People say he was just a made-up story. He went by the name Vax " Fero looked at me and grinned. The room went deathly silent as all eyes turned to me.
