CHAPTER 4

When Ann walks in the restaurant where she and Raymond usually meet, she sees Raymond feeding a girl in a romantic way. She couldn't move..she was in shock .Zoe angrily called out Raymond as they walked to the table. Meanwhile, Liam and his best friend and personal PR Sam, were at the same restaurant sitting at the other table in the far end.

Raymond Ray! Zoe called in a loud voice.. Raymond saw them and quickly removed his hands from holding his date .

"I wonder why you suddenly broke up with Ann, you've got another girlfriend haven't you?" Zoe asked . Raymond scoffed, he remained silent

" Raymond, who's she? Ann asked in a low tone

"A friend of mine" Raymond said

"A friend ? You need to feed a friend ? She asked in a raised voice

"Ann I should ask you, what's the trending topic about and the photos? Raymond asked.

Sam saw them arguing, he turned to Liam who was putting on a headphone..he told Liam that Ann is here..Liam quickly spotted Ann .

"Raymond Ray, don't talk nonsense, I came to explain to you. But it looks like I don't need to.

Raymond scoffed and replied to her "I knew you were a material girl.

"You'd rather believe the pink news on weibo than what I said right?" Ann asked as she folded her arm, staring at Raymond . Raymond turns his head away and stares at her again.

"I.."

"Let's break up" she cuts in . Raymond looked at her in shock , " do you hear me, I dumped you" she said

"Love rat!" Zoe said as she stared at Raymond angrily .

"Zoe, let's go" Ann turns to zoe.

"Let's go to SAO.K and get hammered. You'll get a new boyfriend soon." Zoe said to her as they left. Liam watched her as they left.

Sam turned to Liam,"come on, did she just break up because of the photos with you? Sam asked, looking at Liam in surprise. Liam took a deep breath. "Do you know SAO.K? He asked, looking at Sam . "That's my home field, " Sam replied. "Let's go there tonight," Liam said . "Aren't we going to have coffee? Sam asked as he looked at Liam in disbelief

"I changed my mind" he replied as they stood up and left

Ann and Zoe went to the SOA.K club in the evening, they cheered for a happy single life as Ann kept nagging about her breakup with Raymond. They are already tipsy as they keep talking. Ann told Zoe she's hungry and she's going to get roast chicken wings for them. As she left, Zoe asked the waitress for the restroom and she went for it.

Liam and Sam walked into the club, they sat to get a drink, Liam looked around the club like he was searching for someone. "Has she left?" he asked himself. " What are you looking for? Sam asked Liam when he noticed Liam looking around. Liam didn't answer, he kept looking.

Sam told Liam he saw a nice girl and he would like to go talk to her, he stood up and went to meet the lady at the bartender stand.

Ann came back with the plate of spicy chicken as she sat close to Liam. She turns and was shocked to see Liam, she looks closely at him, she chuckled

"Zoe, I knew it was you" she said as she hit him slightly, " just now I mistook you as Liam Hemsworth." Liam just stared at her , he knew she was drunk. " He had long horns and many teeth, his paws were like this long, he was staring at me like that." she continued as Liam looked at her in surprise. He looked at his fingers and stared back at Ann " terrifying, luckily it's you Zoe" she said as she hit him slightly again. Liam watches her as she continues talking. " Zoe, I found the source you mentioned, Liam Hemsworth is the source!" She said in a raised voice." The bad guy Liam Hemsworth! He's so merciless and inhumane. He ruined my life, he ruined my love, he ruined everything of mine. She said in a teary tone. Liam kept gazing at her eyes and remained silent as she continued talking "so I must find the source, I'll destroy him, I'll get rid of him" she said in a angry voice.

"You'll destroy Liam Hemsworth? Liam asked softly, looking at her.

"Yes I'll destroy Liam Hemsworth!" She shouted in agreement. "I'll make him into roast chicken wings, cut him into pieces and thread him…" she was still talking when Liam pulled her to sit down..she then fell to his lap, she felt weak and slept off.. She held Liam tightly as she told him to drive her home.

Liam called Joe his secretary to drive the car to him. He carries Ann out from the club and inside the car, Ann was too drunk, she opened her eyes and thought Liam was Raymond, she kissed him and Liam was in shocked..he looked at joe as he told him not to say anything about it.. joe smiled mischievously and nodded in agreement. Meanwhile, Zoe fell asleep outside the club and nobody saw her as they drove off.

Ann woke up the next morning when she heard a sound. She goes to the living room and saw her mom arranging the house.

"Mom, what…?

"I woke you up? Her mom asked.

" what's happening?" Her Eyes wide open as she asked..

"Your father spent the rent on investment. I asked for it, but he didn't give it to me. He even lost his temper with me. But if we still don't pay the rent, the landlord will make the apartment back ". Mrs Madison said looking worried and sad.

"Mom, stop worrying", Ann said softly. "your grandma's birthday is in two days" her mom continues, "she insists on booking a room in a five-star hotel. Think about it, how can she pay for it? Mrs Madison said, staring at her daughter.

Ann held her mom's hands, "mom, let me handle it, alright?. Lately I've just got a big order, I'll make a lot of money. I can handle the rent and grandma's birthday" she assured her mom . Her mom looked at her and smiled as she pat her hand

" My daughter, you've really grown up. But I'm so sorry, I've been..I've been troubling you." She stares at her daughter.

"What are you talking about mom?, I make money for you. Don't worry , I'll take care of everything." She looked at her mom and smiled,

"Okay" Mrs Madison nodded and smiled back.
