Chapter 7 Staying Overnight

Ember's POV

We stand in the elevator as it makes it's way up, before I even know what's happening, he turns and pressing his body against mine and pinning me into the elevator side. He leans in until all I can feel is the fanning of his breathing on my neck and with the combination of the sparks from his touch, this embrace is feeling so good. "You know Ember, If you had someone with you to help fight your battles, it could be easier to get past them. You can't do everything on your own no matter how much of a badass you are." He says into my ear as he lightly feathers kisses down the crook curve of my neck sending chills and sparks all through my body.

"The last time I involved someone they got killed and I won't let that happen to you." I say almost breathlessly into his ear with it being right there and just loving his every touch. I don't know why I feel these sparks between us but they are amazing, absolutely enthralling.

"I swear I can take care of myself just as much as you can, but we would be so much stronger together." He says so sensually into my ear as he sucks on my ear lobe sending more chills and goosebumps all over my body as well.

We hear the elevator doors opening accompanied by the loud ding besides us as he breaks away from me and pulls me behind him by my hand again.

We enter his room and he has two bags sitting on his bed so he places them on the ground as he sits down on the end of the bed. I follow him in and sit down next to him.

"I'm sorry Ronan, there is nothing you can say to me that would convince me to endanger your life for me just to try to be happy." I say to him as he attacks my neck again as I add. "Doesn't matter how good that feels I still won't tell you." His hands start to trail all over my body sending sparks between us all over my exposed skin. Turning me on like no other.

"There's nothing I can do to convince you to be with me?" He purrs into my neck sending more chills down my body as I lightly moan before shaking my head. "No nothing, your life means more to me than that." I respond as he stands up and takes his shirt off and over his head.. and my God he looks f*#king amazing, his body is perfectly fit like some kind of God. This is ridiculous I'm sure I looks like trash next to him.

I slip my thong and bra off as I hear him make a sound that sounds like purring as he stares at me and I hope that's good because it sounded like it was good.

I don't understand the effect this man is having on me not just my body but my mind as well.. so his response at least answers my question, so I smirk in response to him. His hands trail all over my naked body sending those sparks to every single inch since it's all exposed now and as I suspected before it does feel amazing.

"So your saying you can see something with me?" He asks as I giggle and state back. "Yes I could see something... mmmm... amazing with you for sure.. but you deserve so much better than a lost cause like myself."

"I'll convince you, give me the 6 days.. I promise." He says into my ear as I shake my head saying. "I don't know about that.. but if this is your way of convincing me, then you can convince me all you want." I say even more playfully back to him making him chuckle.

"I know what you mean.. that was intoxicating.. I'm the kind of person who always takes charge and leads so I have never had a woman take charge and care of me like that ever.. and that was worth it to go with the flow for sure. You're something else." He says making me smile at the thought that this is completely memorable for the both of us.

I snuggle into him more just loving this feeling as hold him tighter into my embrace. "I don't know what these sparks are between us but I have never felt that and they are amazing." I say as he chuckles at my statement. "They realy are.. and if you ever tell me your secret I can tell you about mine which involves those sparks we feel." He says to me making me more curious than before.. that's really intriguing to say the least I might actually consider telling him my life secrets just to find out why that's happening and only with him.

"Hmmm.. intriguing.. I'll think about it.. you got 6 days Ronan make them count." I say yawning as I snuggle into his side and relaxing completely which I haven't done... ever.

"Oh I will Ember. Sweet dreams beautiful." He says into my ear as I softly say, "Night Ro." I feel my eyes get so heavy with my complete relaxation in his arms, as I pass out without even realizing it giving into my exhaustion from today and my very fun invigorating night.

Ronan's POV

I wake up from the most amazing night of s*x in my life with my mate and followed by the best sleep of my life to top it all off. I have never slept with a woman after s*x and this was amazing even with it just being sleep.

I have got to get her to come with me because nothing will be the same without her and I can't have that.. there is no way I can be happy without her.. the mate bond is no joke.. she is giving me the 6 days to try to win her over and I won't let that opportunity slip through my fingers, if I can help it.

That was the best night ever this is why I told you to not touch those w***e she wolves because I knew this would be so much better on so many levels.

Cormac lectures in my head as I groan.

I reply pretty quickly slowly waking up from my pup alarm clock.

I open my eyes stretching out so wide feeling so good right now, as I realize there is no one else in the bed with me. I jump up looking around and no one but me is in the room at all, which makes me so sad.

I get out of bed looking for any signs of her around the room and notice a note on my table addressed to me. I open it and read,

Thank you for an amazing night and better sleep then I have ever endured. But I still won't endanger you especially after that. So good luck with everything you do, I know you will make a very lucky woman happier than she could ever imagine. Don't worry about me, I can take care of myself.

Nope not going to happen she said I have the 6 days and I'm going to make sure I get those days.

I turn around grabbing my clothes off the floor to see a wallet underneath my shirt. She must have dropped it, luckily for me. I grab it and open her wallet to see her ID and an address on it of course. I slip the wallet into my pocket after I get changed and ready to go grabbing everything I need. I put the address into my GPS and realize this is only 10 minutes away at the most.. perfect.

hey man I need the car for just a little bit if you don't mind I need to go see Ember.

I tell Roary as he responds pretty quickly.

With all the noise you two were making last night I thought she would be with you all day.

I laugh at that as I respond just as quickly.

No we had an amazing night but she dropped her wallet and I need to figure out what's going on with my mate.. she won't let me in because of her past.. she is afraid her past will get me killed so she won't even try for a relationship with me for my safety.. but..

I don't know what else to say as he retorts

But your going to try anyways.. she must have you wrapped around her pretty little finger if you're going to fight for her like this.. is she that good in bed?

I laugh again at his comment before responding.

she was amazing in everyway that's why I can't let her go.

I'm being as honest as I can so he knows how serious I am about her.. he knows me and how I am with women and this nothing that I have ever done.

He says to me as I smile and head out the door to his room and grabbing the keys before I head to her place.

It's beautiful outside with the clear blue skies with not one cloud in sight and the nice little chill of the autumn breeze running inbetween the trees that are now covered in yellow, red and orange leaves. I love the sound of the crunching of the leaves under my feet as I walk across the parking lot to the car. This time of the year is my favorite to run around in wolf form so I'll have to do that soon enough.

I get into my car looking at my phone for the directions to her place. I drive for a little bit but all I see are farms and open land.. there is nothing out here but that.

It's beautiful out her very calming being able to literally get away from everything even the town life. I can see why she would be out here to get away to hopefully not be found.. but I wonder who she doesn't want to be found by. Hopefully I can win her over and find out.
