Chapter 12 Reunited

Ronan's POV

I quickly follow Ember out the back door but stop right away, freezing on the spot, from smelling a vampire. I move as quietly as I can making my way through the back room and I see nothing, so I keep going until I hear a bang against the wall and a gasp from Ember. I stay in the shadows trying to observe what's going on around me so I can help and not make the situation worse.

I look around the corner, still hiding in the dark as I see some big vampire guy caging Ember between his arms against the wall. I can tell she is scared and breathing hard as I hear her breathlessly say, "Archer."

"Hey it's my favorite girl, I have missed you so much. Did you miss me?" He asks inching closer to her and I can't help but get possessivly jealous.

"How did you find me?" She demands as he scoffs laughing at her mockingly. "I had a little conversation with your favorite officer."

"You didn't kill Peter did you?!" She asks sounding so concerned for the officer. The vampire feigns shock as he says sarcastically, "I can't believe you would think I'm such a monster to kill him.. do you think I have no self control? I just beat him up a little and went through his things.. This type of contact was just implied, especially for him always being the barrier for me getting to you. He can't keep what's mine away from me."

"I'm not yours Archer.. not anymore." She says in a strained tone trying to sound confident. "You have always been mine, since the day we met.. with you doing anything to get food to eat on those streets.. Remember the things you would do for money and food?.. just a kid.. and me being the selfless man I am, took you in.. I made you who you are today and you should be proud.. not hiding in some disgustingly smelling place like this. I made you everything you are and gave you everything I am. Don't you remember giving me every part of yourself, I do.. and I will never forget it..you will always be mine. Don't fight me and just come with me.. I will forgive you for turning me in as long as you do that thing I like in bed." He says to her as I see tears just starting to silently run down her cheeks as she gasps.

"I'm not yours anymore Archer.. you had me and all you did was use me, abuse me, and cheated on me.. No more, I'm not coming with you, I'm not your weapon anymore." She replies back to him in a stern tone. I don't understand what she means by weapon.

"So... since when do you have a little puppy dogs trailing you.. come on out boy." He yells I'm my direction at me of course, as I step out from the shadows.

"No Ronan go.. go back inside please Ro please." Ember tries to convince me but I don't move a muscle not breaking eye contact with the vampire. "Ohh you're the boytoy for our little Ember huh? I saw pictures of you in the files but had no idea that my little Ember would associate with the likes of your kind.. why?" He's waiting for a moment as we just stare at each other until he gets a suprised look on his face looking back and forth between the two of us.. "Oh I get it, he is your man now huh? But does he really know you?" He asks mockingly as she stiffens up.

"Please, don't Archer please.. No." She begs him as he laughs at her again. "Oh my my my.. what do we have here? You haven't told him about who you actually are.. does that mean you actually love this guy?.. that your even so afraid to let him see you for who you really are, because he would leave you in a split second?.. we both know I'm the only one who could actually love the monster you are.. because I think the monster that lives deep within you begging to get out is beautiful." He says into her cheek as she cries and shakes her head. "Please don't Archer." She begs more until he flips her around putting a knife to her neck as he holds her tight in his strong hold. I keep watching them trying to keep my cool but also figure a way to get her out. I watch him back up with her, from me.

"Do you know who I am?" He asks me from across the way, as I quickly respond "Bullseye Destroyer." He gets a cheeky smirk on his face as he leans in and says, "At least you don't love an i***t Ember.. good for you.... Now tell me what you know about me.. dog." He asks as I respond trying to inch closer. "You're a gangster lord that has no mercy and his foot into every business including strip clubs, casinos and bars.. You're family has been around for generations ruling these areas by force with the help of your warriors."

"Good.. What do you know about my warriors?" He asks as she struggles more in his hold so he puts the knife more into her neck making her stop as the silent tears are now flowing like a waterfall.

"I only know about one that I have heard of.. your sidekick that did all your dirty work for you so you didn't have to get your hands dirty.. murdering rooms full of people for money and I heard you could offer him any amount and he would take it just so he could kill.. I heard he was ruthless with not one bit of empathy in his heart to help anyone, just killing and torturing as he goes. The Firecracker is his nickname and and is called so because he can go into a room and blow up everyone around him, in an instant with just some pistols." I explain as I watch Ember shake her head more gasping for air now as if this conversation is unbearable.

"You want to hear something amazing.. what's your name??.. Oh yeah, Ronan?" He asks me with the most malicious looking smile on his face as his eyes start to glow in the moonlight staring deep into mine. I just nod as he lets out a bigger evil grin than before.

"You had just one part wrong about your description everything else was spot on, but my favorite little weapon is not a he but a she... You're in the presence of greatness dog.. I should make you bow at this introduction but I won't.. Introducing, the ruthless murderer.. the worst killer this world had ever seen.. the one.. the only.. I don't know her as Ember, she had a different name for a long time with me... My Firecracker!" He announces holding Ember out for me to figure out she is his killer. She tries to look away from me as he quickly turns her face by the chin to look at mine.

You can tell she is so ashamed as he says right next to her face. "Look at him my little fire, look at him.. He knows the monster you really are, that I have created in you now.. You know I'm the only one who can love and appriciate the amazing incredible being that you are.. Not even your parents wanted you my little fire.. Why did you think he could ever want you after something like this coming out into the open? What makes you think you even deserve the love he could provide you because of all the torture you have caused.. you don't deserve that love.. Just be with me and I'll give you all the love I have for you because let's be honest you're nothing without me."

Her leg goes straight up and kicks him in the face sending him stumbling back just for a second to let her turn around as they start to throw punch after punch, going toe to toe like I have never seen before. They both fight very equally which is a turn on actually. She spins and kicks going for his face but he blocks it and holds her foot in the air. She jumps, spins and kicking him in the face with her open foot, sending him to the ground as she does a flip over the top.

He gets up in no time at all coming at her from behind but before he can even hit her she turns around, blocks his hits and punches him in the nose. He knees her in the gut making her bend over groaning for a moment until he puts her into the full Nelson hold, as he says. "God I have missed our dancing my love.. isn't this just as amazing as it use to be. You're still the only one who can keep up with me."

"What is going on? Brendan says gaining my attention as I look over to see it's Sean, Roary and Brendan.

"Ember is Firecracker and trying to get away from that life of murder and Bullseye is trying to get her back and they are in an all out brawl.. I want to help but they are crazy fast even for us." I explain catching them up on the fighting scene in front of them, as she slides out of his hold then she spins and kicks him in the face again.. We all watch in shock and awe at the scene before us, looking like some sort of movie fighting scene.

This might sound awful but this is so hot, look at her go.

Cormac says practically drooling at the sight of her very precise skills and who could blame him, he is not wrong. Bullseye connects with her body by punching her in the gut again as she flip kicks, making contact with his face again and sending him to the ground.. but he quickly flips up from the ground. They go punch for punch again blocking everything they throw at each other. Hit, block, kick, punch, over and over faster than you could imagine or even really comprehend.. I'm having a hard time keeping up.. Until she gives him the one two punch from the gut to the face and kneeing him in the nose so he falls to the ground again. He jumps up at her as she pulls out her knife from her shorts and stabbing him in the leg as she kicks him in in chest sending him to the ground again..She backs up from him just panting getting closer to us, as we all step forward to help protect if needed but honestly it's doesn't look like she needs us.

"Don't you walk away from me my little Firecracker.. He will never love you, how could anyone love you after all the damage and heartbreak you have caused... No one but me, just come back and everything will go back to the way that it use to be except no other girls I promise." He Instructs her as she shakes her head.

"I don't want to be your weapon anymore.. I'm not that person anymore Archer.. I don't know if he can ever love me after this.. but all I know is that I can never love myself if I don't stop this now.. I'm done.. No more Firecracker, she is dead." She retorts with confidence and determination laced throughout her words and I couldn't be more proud of her.. that probably took so much strength for her to say that to him.

"Its not Firecracker, Bullseye.. it's Ember and she is an amazing person who is changed now.. Our past is what makes us who we are today and we all make mistakes, but that doesn't mean she doesn't deserve love.. and I have come to find out it takes a monster to love a monster." I declare as she looks back at me as we stare for a moment.

"No! I'm not leaving here without her.. you dumb dogs won't f*#k this up for me." He yells gaining all of our attention then slowly standing up as I quickly get her attention. "Ember?"

She looks right at me as I say, "It takes a monster to love a monster and I promised I wasn't lying earlier, I'm sorry I didn't show you sooner I just didn't know how.. I swear this isn't a dream and don't be afraid, let's just relive your dream." I say as she slowly nods at me.

This is your chance Cormac.

I tell him as I feel my bones start to break and rehinge into new places, reforming me completely.. as the furr covers all over and my hands and feet turn into big paws. We are the wolf counterpart once again.. out and ready for a run.

I turn to her and she is in complete shock with her mouth wide open. She is just staring at me so I bow to her just as she described in her dreams. She hesitantly makes her way over to me. Then getting on my back as she grips tight. "No! No Fire get back over here! This isn't over!" He yells as she says, "Let's get out of here." into my ear as I take off in an instant. I know exactly where I'm headed.. getting there as fast as I can so hopefully we don't have anyone following us.

I get us to our little mountaintop in not much time at all.. She was right about one thing.. the motorcycle is the closest she could get to feeling like when she is riding on me.

I slow down until I come to a complete stop and bow again giving her a chance to get off of me. She gets off then to her knees right in front of me as I have a look of guilt on my face so I look away.

"Look at me." She Instructs softly to me so I turn looking at her and she looks mesmerized as she gently touches my face so I lean into her loving touch. "God you really are just as gorgeous as in my dreams." I can feel my tail wagging at her compliment, like the love sick puppy we really are.

"Can I please talk to Ronan?" She asks and I can feel Cormac getting sad at that as she gets panicked. "Just for a minute and then you can come right back out and we will lay together under the stars ok?" She asks me while petting my back and ears.. so I nod and shift right back into my naked human counterpart.

"I tried to tell you I'm sorry." is all I can get out before she crashes her lips to mine for a passionate kiss until she breaks it, looking guilty herself. "I'm so sorry for not telling you about me, I just didn't want to lose you." She says so sadly to me, with so much shame in her tone.

"Hey.. everyone has done something that they wish they could take back, but we can't take back the past.. It's done and over with.. but we can move forward. Just like you were already trying to do but this time together.. because I'm not going anywhere.. how about that?" I say to her as she sadly says, "What what about when Archer comes back?"

"We will deal with that when the times comes as long as we do it together.. now that all this is out, are you still ok with being with me? Since you know what I am now." I ask her as she scoffs and says, "How could I say no to the most beautiful wolf in the world?.. does he have a different name or is it Ronan too?" She asks as I smile and respond, "His name is Cormac.. he has adored you since the moment he saw you.. he has wanted this for a while so thank you in advance for hanging out with him later. Because I know it means a lot to him." I say to her as she nods then asks.

"So we're you serious as well earlier, when you said I was your mate?" She asks curiously as I nod so she adds. "What does that mean?"

"Well our God is called the Moon Goddess.. she made every single wolf with a perfect spouse that fits them as if they are two peas in a pod.. they are made for each other and that's what we call a mate and you're my mate. You're my other half." I try to explain to her.

"Are you sure, it's not like I'm a werewolf." She responds sounding confused. I nod as I scoot closer to her. "You know when we touch and those sparks that occur?? That's because you're my mate, that only happens between mates.. I have heard stories of the sparks that you feel with your mate but feeling them and hearing about them are two different things.. Our bodies are so magnifyingly attracted to each other just pulling us in and electrifying our touch on straight contact.. Also you have the most amazing scent.. That's how wolves find their mates is by their smell and that's the first thing I noticed was your amazingly sweet musk." I explain more to her as I smell her arousal coming out from my explanation.

"But no where is it said, that you have to be werewolf to be a wolf's mate and you're mine.. there is no doubt about it. that's part of the reason for our deep natural connection.. but that's also why I would do anything for you and I won't leave you because you're the only one made for me you're the only one I want. Even vampires and faes have been mates to wolves before. It's whoever the Moon Goddess made for you. Cormac and I think your perfect." I say to her as she shakes her head. " Vampires and faes exist too?! That's crazy!.. But..I'm the farthest thing from perfect. I have done a lot of bad things Ronan.. I'm not a good person.. everything you described about me was true. I don't deserve you guys, Archer was right." She says so sadly.

"Archer is a vampire and the number one rule is done trust vampire's.. they lie a lot to get their way and so do faes, they will trick you to get what they want.. but no.. he was not right at all. I have killed tons of people too they called me the top warrior, because I'm the best in my pack with plenty of battles I have been apart of. We have done what we have to, to survive. You're not that person anymore anyways.. but honestly watching you kick his ass like that was the sexiest thing I think I have ever seen besides your cowgirl stuff.. I won't forget that ever." I state to her as she shakes her head.

"Archer is a Vampire?! What? How have I not known this?.. wait.. So.. you have a pack?" She asks me as I nod.. "I'm next in line to be the leader or Alpha if you will, of the pack.. I was asking Brendan to come back so he can take the title of Alpha back and he won't because he found his mate.. Nikki." I say to her as she nods in understanding. "Well I promised Cormac we could hang out the rest of the night so I'll see you later handsome.. give me back my wolf." She says to me as I smile and shift, changing back into a very happy Cormack.

"I do have to say you're in a little trouble for not showing me Cormac sooner because You have seen my wolf tattoo the whole time and I needed to see him in real life.. But now it looks like I'm obsessed with you and your stalker because of my tattoo!.. maybe the moon Goddess has been the one giving me those dreams with you in it.. telling me to be with you all these years that I have been having these dreams.. for 15 years.. crazy.. but I do have to say your fur is so soft I love it. Come here and lay down with me Cormac.. Can I maybe lay on you?" She asks as I nod laying down behind her as she lays back onto me. I wrap my big furry protective frame around her like a blanket as she bundles up into me. This is amazing I'm glad she is not scared of us I was so worried she would be mad or scared something but just love.. at least so far.
