THE VAMPIRES SECRET

There was blood everywhere he went, he was so scared he called out to his parents but there was no reply he was lost between people running and screaming, the vampires town was invaded by humans. He stood in the middle of the fight between humans and vampires searching for his parents, crying and begging them to come take him when one of the soilders saw him. He pointed his gun at him and was about to shoot him, scared Micheal closed his eyes prepared for whatever was coming when someone ripped the man's heart out. He opened his eyes to see the man dead and looked up to see his father. "Dad" he ran to hug him. "Where's mum" he asked his father but he father just hugged him with teary eyes. "Micheal I want you to listen to me, you have to run, leave this place it's not safe for you anymore" he said stroking hos hair. "But dad what about you and where's mom?" "We going to play hide and seek. I want you to go as deep into the woods as you can and hide in a the best spot and I'll come find you okay?. He nodded "what about mom" he asked his father again. "I'll go look for her and then we'll come back for you" he told his son he hated to lie to him but he had no choice, even if he can't save himself he has to save his son to live for them. He hugged him and kissed his head, "I want you to know that we'll always love you" he kissed him again and stroke his back. Just then a bullet hit him at his back and he groaned in pain. "Dad", Michael called out to his father, his hands were covered with blood from hos father. "Run now Micheal, Run" his father yelled as he stood up with his last strength to fight even though he knew he was going to die. He had already lost his wife, he can't lose his son too. He clawed at the solder but missed, he was too weak to fight and then another bullet went to his leg and he fell on his knee. He turned to see his son in tear watching him another dhit to his chest and he dropped down "Run Micheal, I love you" he said before he gave up the struggle. Micheal ran into the woods as far as he could, his legs were heavy and his feet were bruised but he continued. A soilder was after him. He climbed up and down the hill with no effort and the soilders trailed behind him. He ran as fast as he could with his eyes scanning for a place to hide but there was none, it was all trees. He continued running deep down into the woods, this place was darker now, he stopped for a minute to look if the soilder was still on his tail, as he turned around to look he saw the soilder catching up to him and just as he turned around he bumped into a tree and fell to the ground. His head hurt and his legs ached. The soilder grabbed him and he struggled to free himself but it was useless. He put him on his shoulders and began to head back. Micheal hit his back but he didn't fudge, helpless he sank his fangs into the man's neck biting him so hard that made the man shierk and threw him on the floor. He ran and didn't stop until he got to a cave and entered it without thinking twice, he went deep into the cave not thinking of what or who lived there. It was dark in the cave and the more he went the darker it became he ran until his legs gave up and he collapsed to the ground. He laid there breathing heavily until the darkness finally took him. He stay in the cave for days, he couldn't even get up to find a way out to the other side of the cave. Worse he had nightmares, seeing his father die really caused him a lot of pain for a kid like him. He laid on the floor every night crying, wishing his mom would find him but no one came for him. The worst part of it all was that he hadn't eaten for a long time, he tried a few times to get up and find himself something to eat or find a way out but his legs refused to carry him. Hopeless he just laid there crying till his eyes became heavy and he drifted to sleep. He had been there lying down in the same spot for a week now without no food. He was so weak he could even cry, he just laid there looking at the ceiling of the cave hoping some one would come to his rescue but the more he hoped the more days he spent in the cave. Slowly he began to give hope and just wanted to die and meet his dad then he thought about his mom he hoped she was still alive, he promised himself to find her if he ever got out of the cave. Days were going by and he was still lying there without no food, he health was deteriorating slowly, his heartbeat slowed down, he was between life and death. His eyes shut itself as he took slow breaths, he was sure he wasn't going to make it until a bright light flashed his eyes, he opened his eyes to see someone in white staring at him but he too weak to capture the face. He felt himself being lifted up from the ground with voices surrounding him they were saying things h couldn't hear clearly, when the light of the sun poked his eyes he knew he lwas out of the cave but it was too late his heartbeat was silent now and he was very slow now and soon the darkness was coming to take him, he was too weak to even fight and soon the darkness took him away.
