Chapter Nine

When old sweet memories come back you smile . But if rest of the memories are filled with tragedy you feel like crying .

I felt tears pool in my eyes but I kept smiling.  It was such a great feeling to remember your childhood memories.

Suddenly Ed wrapped his arm around my shoulder hugging me tight from side and placing a kiss on my temple .

" We're gonna live here after our wedding . " he said looking at the house in front of us and I looked up at him in disbelief .

" Don't look at me like that Jen.  I want you to cherish your old memories in this house with me . We will start our family in this house.  " he said turning to face me . Giving a soft kiss on my forehead he hugged me tight. 

" I know it'll be hard for you but it will help you remember you're family , their love and we will build a family like that . I won't let any disease tear you apart from me. We'll spend our each and every special moment in this house . " he said and I pulled back to look at him . Standing on my toes I reached upto give a peck on his lips .

" I love you . " I said wrapping my arms around his torso .

" I love you too "he said hugging me back and placing his chin on top of my head . We stood there hugging each other and after a moment of comfortable silence he pulled back grinning .

" I had hired some people to remove the dust and to clean our house . But we still have a job to do .. " he said trailing off and I narrowed my eyes at him .

" What is that job ? " I asked and he grinned .

" They have already painted other rooms but I told them to leave our bedroom , so that we could decorate it according to our wish so we have to paint it . "he said and I felt some tingling feeling inside my stomach when he said ' our ' bedroom . Smiling I looked up at him. 

" Then lets do it ! " I said pulling him inside .

We finished painting our room that is my mom and dad's room  within one and a half day . He had given all other rooms white including our living room , kitchen . But I painted our bedroom with a mix of white and skyblue . After finishing our painting we bought white curtains mixed with skyblue and lot of other decoration items.  He placed all the white curtains in other bedrooms . He  brought our curtains and hung it in our bedroom. After hanging those curtains I kicked him out of that room to decorate it some more .

I know its not a big kind decoration but it will always be close to our heart .

I decorated our bedroom with our photos that we took when we went ice skating . I framed that pic which we took at the hospital . Me giving him a kiss on his cheek and his eyes wide as golf balls.  Smiling I hung  those picture frames on the wall behind our bed . And for the final touch I hung a blue dream catcher above the window .

Suddenly Ed started banging on the door . Laughing I opened the door to see him frowning .

"You took soo long princess . "he said getting inside and his jaw dropped on seeing my small decoration .

" Wow . When did you frame those pics ? "he asked and I shrugged . Shaking his head smiling he hugged me .

" Can't wait to live in this room . " he said pulling back and wiggling his eyebrows .

And I remembered his Aunt's words ' You have to be naughty than him to control him ' .

Smirking I pulled him by his collar and gave a peck on his lips. 

" Even me . " I said going out of the room swaying my hips seductively and his eyes widened in amusement.

" Someone is horny today . "he said trailing behind me .

Stopping in midway ,I turned to face him and he looked at me trying to analyze what I was thinking .

" We just have one more day for our wedding and we'll come here after wedding so we'll need groceries.  " I said and he nodded agreeing on my thought .

We went to the nearby store and brought required items for the time being . We could go shopping even after the wedding . Placing all the groceries in the refrigerator and taking one last look of our house , he dropped me at Nick&Lin's house .

Getting inside the house I was enveloped in a warm hug and immediately I recognized it as Nick . I hugged him back and snuggled onto his chest .

" I'll miss you princess . " he said sighing and I hugged him tight . I never thought about leaving those two best friends of mine . But now I really feel sad , I'll miss waking Nick up when am sober , I'll miss eating Lin's freshly prepared yummy food , I'll miss hanging out with them and having movie marathons. I'll miss everything . But hey am not going continents away , am just moving to next street . I could visit them whenever I want .

" I'll miss you too i***t . "I said pulling back smiling . He chuckled and ruffled my hair .

" Come on . Lin is preparing for a movie marathon . " he said and I jumped up and down giggling .

Wedding day , this day is the most precious day in a girl's life . And every girl want to experience this day and its one among their dream .

Today am living my dream .

My wedding day .

I was all dressed up in my wedding gown , my hair was made into a braided bun , a simple veil infront my face and simple make up was done on ny face .

Riley and Adalin stood in front of me looking amused. But I should say they looked just stunning more than me and I haven't seen Riley so stunning than this . After jam's death she has never given any attention to her looks but upon me insisting like a stubborn child I am she agreed . She deserved much more happiness and if Jam was still here I would surely had my neice or nephews for my wedding . But fate is fate . I guess I don't have any luck in looking after a baby not even in my case 'cause I don't have time .

Wiping my tears away I turned to face Nick who just came inside complaining that my fiance is going impatient .

Seeing me ready in my wedding outfit , honestly Nick was astonished .

After a moment of staring at me he spoke .

" You look ...Wow...umm..stu-..no ...perfect Jen . " he said softly and I blushed .

Shaking his head he extended his arm and I wrapped my arm around his.

Walking down the aisle with Nick I watched my surrounding , there were not so many people but I noticed some familiar faces like the manager of that store I worked in , Nancy , Riley's parents and my eyes landed on the man of my life , As cliche as it sounds , its true . He had his breathetaking smile on his face . My hands became sweaty and my heart was pounding so fast that I felt I would pass out now .

As I reached near Ed , Nick handed my hand to Ed and he took my hand smiling.

"You look ..perfect " he whispered  pulling me up .

Taking a deep breathe I stood facing him .

He gave me his breathtaking smile and I calmed down .

The priest read all the promises and we repeated .

"Now you may say your vows"

Ed looked at me and after taking a deep breathe he started.

" I promise to be there for you, in cold winter mornings, to warm you, on soft springs to watch our love grow, in our summers to play in the light of the sun, and in our autumn to kiss your fingers and say, it has all been worth it - every moment of our love. You are the kindest, most, sincere, loveliest woman I know and I am lucky to hold your hand, be in your arms and in your heart. If you will have me, I will make my arms your shelter, and my heart our home. " Hearing his vows, tears filled up in my eyes and i nodded at him smiling.

Taking a deep breathe and I read out mine " I vow never to stop loving you as I do today. To carry the warmth of our love over years through difficult times, up hills and over oceans. You are my family, and I want to be there for you in all things, I am so excited to be your wife and share in every moment - not only the good times, but the learning experiences too. I vow to take from every moment the opportunity to love, to nurture, and to grow - and to never forget how lucky I am.I Love you Edward" I said smiling and the priest continued .

The priest turned to look at Ed who was looking at me throughout the whole ceremony . " Do you Mr.Edward Sterling take Ms.Jennifer Stone as your lawfully wedded wife ? " the priest asked and he smiled " I do . " he said and my heart started pounding faster again .

" Do you Ms.Jennifer Stone take Mr.Edward Sterling as your lawfully wedded husband ? " the priest asked and I smiled.

" I do . " I said smiling and tears pooled in my eyes because of the moment happening .

" Now you may kiss the bride. " the priest said and Ed lifted the veil from face and wrapped his arms around my waist pulling me closer and leaned in , giving one last glance we both closed our eyes and he pressed his lips onto mine . The gathered people erupted into cheers and I smiled under his lips .

Pulling back he pressed  his forehead onto mine smiling .

" I love you " he whispered .

" I love you too. " I said and he hugged me .

Wrapping his arms around my waist he pulled me closer to his side and gestured something to Lucas and he gave a crooked smile  . All the guest left for the party in next hall. And we greeted everyone . Soon the lights went off and Ed lifted me up in bridal style and walked , I tried to wriggle out of his grip but man his grip was strong on me so eventually I stopped struggling . I really didn't know where he was taking me or why ? .

Placing me inside his car , he got onto the driver's seat and started the car . I remained silent because I know there is no point in asking him . He soon pulled in front of our house , getting out from his seat he walked towards my side and opened the door .  He extended his hand and I  held it tight . We came and stood in front of our house , smiling at me he gave a kiss on my forehead .

" What about the party ? " I asked and he shrugged .

" Lucas will handle it. Now ...shush ! " he said and gave a peck on my lips .

He opened the main door , getting inside he closed and locked the door . Suddenly he wrapped his arms around my waist from back and placed his head on my shoulder .

" Welcome to our home. Wife . " he said and I chuckled nodding my head. 

Turning me around to face him , I looked up to meet his gaze and he was looking at me , his blue orbs turning a bit dark . Gulping I smiled at him and he kissed me hard lifting me up in bridal style and walked to our bedroom , closing it shut with one leg .

Dreams come true . They do .

After my family's death I believed less in that sentence . But now as I lay on our bed looking at his angelic face sleeping , I believe in that .

Giving a peck on his lips I got out off the bed, wore his shirt and tied my hair in a messy bun .

Time to pull out my cooking skills . I made the pancake batter and slowly started making pancakes . Its like I need my full concentration when I cook otherwise I would end up messing up the kitchen .

Lin had always been patient with me whenever I would burn my pancakes but would make me cook pancakes until I learn my mistake. She is like two in one , like a stubborn mom and a protective best friend .

Shit .

We just vanished from our wedding party and I didn't even call Lin or Nick .

Leaving the batter there I went to search for my phone . When we entered , I threw it somewhere on the couch .

After some moment of searching , I found it lying behind the couch .

Calming down I took it and was quite surprised to see that I did not have a single call from anyone . But a message from Lin.

Opening it my eyes went wide and heat crawled up my neck and cheeks .

Lin : Have a great night . ;)

They all knew about this .

Backstabbers .

Suddenly I heard Ed calling my name . I ran towards from where his sound came from .

Entering the kitchen , burnt smell covered my nose and I started coughing .

Such a good start after your wedding night .

Hearing me cough , Ed quickly came beside me and patted my back . After some more coughing I sobered up .

Taking a deep breathe I smiled sheepishly at Ed who burst out laughing . Glaring at him I crossed my arms over my chest .

" Okay. Okay am sorry princess . " he said chuckling .

Placing his hands on my shoulder he turned me around and pushed me towards the kitchen counter . Lifting me by my hips he made me sit on the counter and gave a peck on my lips .

" Sit here . Let the expert handle this . " he said and I rolled my eyes at his expression .

Humming ' I'll be ' I sat on the kitchen counter watching him move swiftly , like an expert .

He was in his boxers and I found it hard to control my eyes from checking him out . Hey he is my husband and I have the right to .

" Like what you see ? " he asked and I laughed nervously .

" Yea . " I said and he turned to give me a wink and continued to cook .

" Its all yours . " he said and heat crawled up my cheeks .

" Shut up . "I said and he burst out laughing .

Shaking my head I cleared my throat .

" You're not going for work? " I asked and he shrugged .

" What ? " I asked and he shook his head .

" Why ? " I asked and sighing he turned to face me . He walked towards me and stood in between my legs .

" I will go ..okay ? But not this week , am on leave for a week . Now don't you ask anymore questions. " he said and I sighed nodding .

" That's like my girl . "he said patting my head and I swatted his hand away , he went back chuckling .

Soon Breakfast was served by the expert himself . And god it was mouthwatering . He had prepared scrambled egg , along with his favorite chicken sandwich.

We kept on chatting about where he wanted to take me and he would not allow me to drink , but he made me sure that I will get my sleep with him and god knows what he meant by that .

" HEY GUYS ! "

The main door burst open and I  shot up from my position , placing a hand on by chest and  breathing hard .

We were watching tangled which was his suggestion ,  me lying on Ed's lap , who was sitting on the couch watching it curiously .

We both were tired so decided to spend our day inside . I was still in his white shirt and my black shorts , Ed in only his grey sweatpants .

" You guys scared the s**t out of me ! " I shouted and they burst out laughing .

" Did we interfere in some kind of hot business ?"Lin asked and I threw a cushion at her .

" Shut up ! " I said smiling . From the corner of my eyes I could see Ed trying hard not to laugh.

I elbowed him onto his side and he groaned .

" Nick ! " I shouted and hugged him .

" Hey , how is Mrs. Sterling doing today ? " he asked smiling and I giggled on hearing him calling me ' Mrs. Sterling ' .

" I'm great . " I said pulling back and he gave a peck on my forehead .

Squealing I hugged Lin .

" How was the night ? " she whispered ,  I pinched her hard and she hissed a breathe .

Ed and Nick did their guy to guy hug and Ed wrapped his arm around my waist pulling me close .

" So umm..Ed we brought what you told to get . " Lin said smiling and gave an envelope to Ed . I raised an eyebrow at him and he winked in response .

Groaning I turned to face my best friends and they just shrugged .

" So we'll leave you two love birds to do ..umm whatever you want . Bye guys . " Lin said and I hugged them both .

" Bye guys . See ya soon . " I said pulling back .

Giving us a wink they rode off .

I turned to face Ed and Narrowed my eyes at him , he gave a crooked smile and walked towards me and I moved backwards , my leg touched the couch and I fell on the couch , he leaned in near to my ear , his breathe hitting my earlobe and sending shivers down my spine .

" Guess what ..Riley gave us a gift . " he said and I turned my face to look at him . He gave a genuine smile and continued.

" We're going to Paris . " he said and my eyes widened .

Riley gifted us a trip to Paris .

Aww .

But what is he going to do with the expenses ?

" But .." I was cut off when he pecked my lips.

" Shh ...I know what you're thinking . I can manage the expenses . She brought us tickets ..so who's gonna pack ? " he said and scooped me in his arms and led to our room .

God . I'll miss this guy .
